"The adya hotel opened on the 15th of January so everything was brand new & worked very well, the staff were very helpful and friendly and professional, but once you get outside of the hotel the area ( kuah ) is a complete dump, I could not believe the rubbish thrown in the roads, there were derilict building everywhere, open sewers, broken pavements, drain covers missing on the pavements about 3ft square big enough for a small child to fall down with serious consequences, why they built this hotel in this area is a mystery. The area to stay in is cenang beach it's got lots of shops, plenty of restaurants and bars. You can rent a car / motorcycle + helmet, if you book a hotel in kuah you will regret it. "

"Let me start with location, Location is perfect on the main road. Beside hotel you have petrol pump attach with min market, if you want buy anything everything is available their. The area is surrounded with good Arabic and other cuisine restaurant. Two blocks away You have self laundry to wash your clothes for RM 5. Near to your hotel their is a beach also available. The hotel location is in Kuah. I think 25 min drive from Chenang beach. Very peaceful area. I would suggest the moment you land in langkawi get a rent a car from airport, start using your GPS. You will save a lot of money in transportation. The hotel have got all the facilities u require, good swimming pool, lobby and you have all type of rooms available depending upon your requirement. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. You have any Issue meet the hotel Manager and operations head Mr. Sambri, very nice and humble person. He will look after your issue. I was fortunate enough to me the Owner as well Mr. Charan. Excellent human being and perfect host. In short U can stay at this hotel and I will surly again stay at this hotel on my next visit. "

"We have had a great stay and are continuing to stay on now for a further 6 days. The breakfast included in the deal was great, so many choices (including western) and eggs/waffles to order! If you want to get your laundry done, recommend to use the cheap place around the corner, $4 MYR per kilo same day ($1.50AUD). Recommended places to eat, just around the corner local place, dinner for two $20MYR ($8AUD) - delicious! Spa - package (massage, facial, foot reflex)'Bedrock' in Kuah town, $258MYR couple (so $50AUD each!!) the place was clean, and the girls were very professional and super skilled, cloud nine material and so well priced!!! Best to hire a car to get around, $60 MYR (manual) per day, negotiate though for $50MYR from 'Moonlight' at Kuah Jetty. Recommend to not order room service, much cheaper to buy your own water/get own laundry done and snacks/drinks elsewhere. "

"We only stayed a nite, prior to this we stayed 2 nites in Awana Porto Malai. Location is good in that it is close to Kuah town, shops & eateries. The entrance road to Bella Vista wasn't particularly impressive, but it is what you get at your room, and the facilities, which count most. Breakfast (we got 5 vouchers!) was quite good, friendly/helpful staff. If I wanted a Kuah hotel, I would stay here again for my next visit, strong points: 1) good price for family of 4 2) close to shops & amenities. "

"Good: - 1) Welcome towel was very cool with a very nice scent. 2) Staff are very quick and alert on our arrival. 3) Nicely decorated Wedding Anniversary deco on our bed. 4) Room is beautiful and we got our room on the 3rd floor which is facing the garden, pool and sea view. As we got 2 double beds, room can accomodate 4pax. 5) There are around 4 pools which 3 of them are suitable for kids. 6) Sunset view by the beach is such a bliss to witness. 7) As we were driving, it's very easy to find food outside the hotel, thanks to Langkawi Fair Mall which is about 5-10mins drive. 8) Location is at Kuah Town, we managed to visit the Eagle Square and there are souvenir shops there too. Plenty of street-side Seafood stalls and restaurants. If you're looking for factory price Minyak Gamat/Oils, there's a shop in Kuah that sells that too with the brand 'Shaari'. Bad:- 1) Beach is not suitable for walking barefooted as there many small seashells. 2) Breakfast variety is not extensive."
