easily the best on Sairee Beach”
It is a true gem on the Sairee Beach. Far enough from action to be calm, close enough to reach the action in 10min walk. This part of the beach is best of snorkeling. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. Drinking water is provided. Wifi is fast. Most of the TV channels do not work.

I booked Koh Tao Cabana because one of my friends living in Koh Tao highly recommended this. I stayed around a week with remote working from there (internet is stable - once it got unconnected but immediately re-connected). The room is clean, house keeping coming everyday to clean the room throughout. Staffs are also very friendly and attentive as they responded to my request quite quick. Also they helped to book a ferry ticket to Koh Smaui. The hotel is in quite area of Sairee beach as it is north Sairee. You can walk to busy Sairee area in 10 min and it's a lot easier to walk during low tide. (during high tide, you can still walk to busy Sairee area) You may need to walk up small hill to reach your villa/room but it's not hard and you will enjoy greens while walking :) As I had to work most of afternoon, I didn't have much chance to enjoy their facilities, but I do enjoyed their paddle board for free while my lunch time everyday :) Their restaurant is also very good! I had all my lunches in their restaurant and every dish I ordered was very tasty. If I travel to Koh Tao with my family, this hotel will be my first choice.

Beautiful and quiet stay, just off of sairee beach”
If you're looking for a quiet and amenable experience in Koh Tao, this is the place to stay. We stayed in a sky view cottage and the view was amazing. Our only regret was that we were not in better shape, as the sky view requires hiking up the mountain a bit. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from other amenities, so keep in mind that you may not be as close to the action as you might like. They have their own private beach, pool and restaurant though, so you don't really need to go anywhere to get the Koh Tao experience!

What an incredible find!”
We were over the moon about finding this property in Koh Tao - it certainly exceeded our expectations. The location is ideal - on Sairee beach but right at the end, so far enough to feel secluded and peaceful but only a 10 minute walk to all the action! Their private beach was one of my favourite on the island. We loved the day beds, the swing and the hammock and the hotel's restaurant is perched on the cliffs overlooking the beach and sea. Although the breakfast could have been better, the afternoon and evening meals were divine and the service super friendly. Actually, every single member of staff was lovely and went above and beyond. For a very reasonable price you will receive luxury treatment and a lot of high-end extras (bathrobes, hot towels and drink on arrival, room service etc) They also have their own sunset deck as well as a separate snorkelling one by the rocks! We stayed in the white stone bungalows which we loved as nearer to the beach and pool . Was very sad to leave!

What a wonderful time in Koh Tao Cabana ! Staff is adorable and very helpful. Rooms are admirably clean and comfy, with an authentic thai influence. Breakfast is delicious. Just at the end of Sairee beach so location is ideal to be close to the day/night life without being too close to be annoyed by it. Big recommandation for this place !

Great hotel for a family vaction”
The hotel is situated at the far end of Sairee beach and you need to go by the beach to get into the shopping/restaurant area. We stayed in the newer white cabanas which is closer to the pool and not so far from the restaurant. Staff provided 2 mattresses for our kids, so we could feet into the room easily. The hotel has a private beach with nice swings, but shallow water. There are a lot of options to take a longtail tour or car and go to the other side of the island. We love Tanote Bay a lot for swimming and snorkling.

Beautiful retreat”
The Koh Tao Cabana Resort is lush and beautiful, situated on the quiet end of Sairee Beach. That means it's easy to lounge peacefully by the water, or snorkel right off the beach, or to walk down the beach a little bit for more activity, and to get to town. The cabanas and villas themselves are gorgeous; I was in a terra villa and my friends in an ocean view cabin... both quite different and amazing in their own ways. Definitely recommend!

The hotel is quite empty now, but the staff are still eager to please and help with every detail. Sunbeds and fresh towels at the ready. Lovely setting for breakfast. Rooms are cozy and stocked with plenty of drinking water.

There was no communication about resort picking us up at the pier. We just happen to run into the guys by chance and they gave us a ride to the resort. If not, the charge was 500b by taxi.

Re emerging Nicely”
Still my favourite place to stay in Koh Tao. The resort is slowly re-emerging from a 2 year hiatus gracefully. As the tourism industry returns so too will the finer touches and full staff compliment. COVID has created a few rough edges but the magic is still here and the staff are as wonderful as ever

We’ve been guests at the Cabana before the pandemic and sadly the standard as it used to be is not the same anymore. We stayed 1 week and the „fresh“ towels have a really bad smell (mix between old sweat & cat pee). The quality of the food at the restaurant is the same, not as good as it was… some breakfast & food options are not available and dishes come with lots of delay, oily & tasteless & we felt that the waiters are kind of unmotivated or simply disinterested once you enter the restaurant and keep you waiting 10 mins before bringing the menu… overall the resort would need a refresher & renovation to reflect 4 stars.
