Genuinely kind staff and lovely huts”
Came in during high season but place was still an oasis of calm on a lovely beach. Fantastic for what it is -- just beach huts on a plot of land with a lovingly tended beach. Taxis on the island were fully booked out as it was end of year, but they managed to free up the resort vehicle and a staff member to take me around for half a day (and said staff member knew exactly where to go on slightly vague requests!). Food and drink prices here were reasonable. They took care of this solo female traveller most brilliantly,, and I'll be back.

Take a good supply of insect repellent and antihistamines on the beach you will be bitten To The Bone by miniature insects called no see ums the bites hurt itch and take a better week to heal.

Remote resort with paradise beach”
We loved the place. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beach is amazing. On the edge of the bay is very nice reef for snorkelling. We disliked all the plastic debris washed out by the sea on the beach. They keep clean only the area right in front of the resort, but it would not be such a big deal to keep greater area clean there too. The food was great and reasonably priced. We have one of the lagoon/river view bungalows - the view is great. The bungalows are simple, but nice and providing you with all that you need. After I saw other accommodation options in the area I found the deal pretty overpriced.

A secret hideaway on a stunning beach”
we loved staying at the Neverland resort - it is in a very remote location with no other hotels/shops/restaurants in walking distance. The beach is absolutely stunning and has a real desert island feel. the restaurant has a nice view of the river and is very reasonably priced. The rooms are basic but they are clean and have good a/c.

Beautiful, peaceful, adilic retreat...”
Out of all the islands this is the most peacefull, if you are prepared to journey another one & a half hours by ferry to the island. The ferry journey itself is an adventure as it sails past all the other main islands, that are more heavily populated by tourists. As the ferry docks the journey is followed by a very bumpy off road trip in the back of a 4 wheel drive landcruiser through the coconut palms & rubber tree plantations, passing little villages, cafes & sights of the many beaches. There is no cashpoint machines, night clubs or bars, apart from a small cosy cocktail bar adjacent to the restraunt at the Neverland retreat, which is highly expensive, so take food & drink with you from the mainland to keep in your cabin. The food is good but charges are higher than what you would pay on the mainland, but of course breakfast is included, the usual fruit juice, tea & coffee, American style breakfast, a little disapointed in the size of the portions as still left feeling hungry. Best advice take a day tour of the island, and take your swimming gear & sun tan lotion as the many waterfalls are beautiful where you can swim. Visit the fishing village, all houses built upon stilts on the ocean in a lagoon, fresh crabs & fish of all kinds on offer. The island is the most peacefull & has very little people actualy there, it is ideal for lazing on the beautiful beaches or relaxing at the cabin with TV, bathroom, ...no fridge though, but lovely, the staff are very helpfull & knowledgable & are willing to help at all times, a real desert island get away ...if you want the sound of the waves, clear blue sea that is warm, the peace & tranquility of nature.. this is for you, excellent.

Nice resort on a remote island”
the resort was pretty nice. getting to it wasn't so easy though. we took a taxi to a drop off point where a truck from the resort picked us up. the road to the resort wasn't really a road, but a path. we had some problems early on with an ac unit that would not stop beeping. they promptly moved us to another room. in that room, we discovered a toilet that was non-functional, the staff immediately went to work and fixed it. soon after our check-in, the lights for the entire resort flickered a bit and then went out for about 3 minutes. they came back on but later went out again for a few more minutes. throughout the night, the lights would occasionally flicker. breakfast came with the room and was pretty standard. unless you rent a motorbike or hire a driver, there is no other place to eat but the resort's restaurant. fortunately, the food there is pretty good. the island itself is not very developed, the nightlife was non-existant and there are not many services available. on the plus side, the water was very clean and the beaches were nice. however, there really isn't anything to see on the island other than the great beaches. we hiked 300 meters to see a waterfall that barely had any water flow. we also walked quite a bit to see a rock that looked like the front of a ship. big whoop. it was a stark contrast to koh chang which had a bunch of 7-11s, had many things to do and see and was very well developed.

Tranquil”
We like Neverland for the quiet and the beautiful beach. The sea view rooms are the best. Rooms are basic but the location and grounds make up for anything you may be missing in luxury. There is a great little restaurant on the beach. There was a mixup with our room reservation and we had to spend our first night in a room we really didn't like (garden view to be avoided as rooms are attached and you can hear your neighbours every move), but the manager was good enough to give us a discount.

Wonderful, calm resort with super nice staff”
This resort totally lived up to our expectations - and more. We spent 3 lazy days here, just strolling up and down the peaceful beach, laying for hours in the crystal clear, warm water, watching fantastic fishes while snorkeling from the beach (like "Finding Nemo".. ;-) You can reach the nearby beaches by a short stroll in the forest - but the food is so tasty at the restaurant that you might as well stay on the beach. Worth knowing is that the bungalows are fairly spartan, with nothing more than a bed and tv, but you just use them for sleep, so it didn't matter to us. The seaview veranda is lovely! We definately recommend this resort!

Awesome location friendly staff ”
We could only stay 3 nights here but would have stayed longer. It was was one of the best beaches we stayed near. The staff are friendly and the restaurant has a wide variety of food. There's a bar at the beach which does an awesome ice coffee. Its possible just to stay at the resort or you can take a scooter to check some of the other restaurant. One thing to mention is that there are two different types of bungalows, we stayed on the old one, the sink was leaking and the Airconditioning wasn't that effective as there was a lot of gaps in the building. The new ones look much better. Also bring a mosquito net if you get a chance to buy one!

This was a beautiful resort. The river view hut was basic, but beautiful and had everything I needed. So close to the beach with a unspoilt beach. There are various options to eat in and staff are really helpful. I stayed here and was able to forget the World.

Pros Without a doubt, this property has one of the best beautiful beaches in Koh Kood. - Crystal clear water. - Long smooth white sand beach. - No rocks obscured sight. - No shells cut your bare feet. - The food tastes quite good. - Friendly staffs. - Very relaxing, away from the busy life. Cons However, there are some issues. - The bathroom is quite disappointing. - Traveling is rather difficult from the pier and other check-points on the island. - No grocery store on site. Anyway, the beach here is something you can't miss when visiting Koh Kood. You can overlook other flaws by its beauty.
