A place I would love to make a revisit”
Excellent location, only 3 km. from Nang Tong Beach (black sand beach) and quite close to Khao Khai Nui where you will experience a sea of fog which I would rank it among the top 3 most beautiful sea of fog I had ever seen in my life. (and I traveled a lot). Their staffs are sweet and nice. Willingly to help with sweet smile. In one word for this place is, I love it!

New Year”
Great hotel on the beach, booked a double bed but try to give us 2 single beds and they do their best to found a room with a doublebed, 2 nice pools but no restaurant for dinner on New Year Eve? No water on the first day of the year. Give us some water bottles and propose to have an other room for shower. We change hotel .

Nice but needs to join the 21st century”
Almost got electrocuted twice because there are not enough sockets to plug your electronics and there is a weird setup for the lights. The wifi sucks.

Worst customer care every experienced ”
Stayed for 3 nights . On the 2 nd night we ate from the on site restaurant my son had steak and in the early hours that night got bad food poisoning which is still going on 2 days later . I informed the manager in the morning that he had eaten the steak and was now ill and her first & only concern was that we had to move rooms or pay extra . No care no sorry or what can we do to help which you would expect from any good hotel . Then followed a series of arguments with the manager and her food manager and the worst customer experience we have had they did everything they could to try to deny he got it from there food Saying things like “ take him to hospital if they prove it was our food we will help “ At this point he was either sleeping or on the toilet so I said no he needs rest we can’t move him yet . The food manager blatantly lied to me & I confronted him over it and exposed him then he sculked off like a moody child sneering at me . Save yourself - stay elsewhere .

Great place to stay and not break the bank”
First off, in general Khao Lak as a place is awesome. So chilled but with stuff to do and good local amenities. As for the Palm Beach Resort, it is a good hotel with friendly staff, lovely landscape setting and you can fall right onto a gorgeous beach. It's within walking s distance to a few restaurants if you want to explore outside the resort and a little more walking will get you onto the main street with shops etc. They provide complimentary water in the room and even some fruit when you arrive. We ate dinner here twice, once room service (excellent prices) and once in their restaurant. My husband with attest that their spring rolls are the best. Breakfast is good. The bathroom was a little outdated but it functioned and was clean. I think the only let down was the bed sheets didn't always look very clean, even when they'd just been changed. Nothing horrific. Overall a great stay for the price.

Clean, friendly staff, location ok, poor facility ”
We stayed for 2 days in a deluxe room with mountain view. The room was very well cleaned, the bed was very comfortable, but the fridge was making too much noise that we had to unplug it during the night. The air con worked well and was not too loud. The staff is friendly and conversation is possible as they can all speak English. The gym room has no air-con and the equipment is very old. The spa is deserted and not in use anymore and somehow in a demolished stage. The spa room is now served as an emergency shower room for late check-out guest. The resort has no more spa service however they provide massage by the beach at cheap local price. The pool is very small and sometimes murky. The breakfast is very simple and standard. The pool benches are comfortable but the sun umbrellas are old. The location is almost at the end of Khao Lak Beach and there is one small local restaurant which served good and cheap food which is within 5mins walk. The hotel charges 50 baht per pax for shuttle bus to the city. Overall our stay was ok and value for money.

Beautiful Surroundings”
We were recommended by a Thai friend to stay at Khao Lak Palm Beach and we weren't disappointing. The resort is set in a cliff in a more private part of Khao Lak just south of Nang Thong beach. Because of this the beach was mostly empty we could enjoy the beautiful waters privately. The place had all the services we could possibly ask for and the staff were very helpful. The room rates aren't the cheapest in Khao Lak but well worth it.

Great stay in a great location.”
We enjoyed a lovely, short stay at this peaceful beach resort. We loved our room with it's four-poster bed and Jacuzzi. It was very private and quiet. The bed was very firm, which is common in Asia. We were welcomed with cold drinks and refresher towels at check-in. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful. The ocean view from the Breakfast Room is great and the breakfast selection is adequate, although not extensive. The restaurant is located just beside the sand of the beach, which is quite romantic of an evening. The menu has a good selection of international and local dishes at reasonable prices. The first night we were there, a barbecue option was available in addition to the a-la-carte menu. We chose the barbecue option and it was quite good. The gardens are well-maintained, and we loved the Thai look and feel of the place. It wasn't a generic style of hotel that you could find just about anywhere. The main village/shopping area of Khaolak is about a 10 to 15 minute walk away, and is mostly downhill. We chose to walk there and get a tuk-tuk back, which only cost 100 baht. The pool is very good for people with children as it has a large shallow area, but the deeper swimming area could be a bit bigger for our liking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back!

Watering the Garden”
This was our second ten day holiday at Khao Lak Beach Resort this year. This time we enjoyed the "wet season". Rain, rain and more rain made for a most peaceful visit. Accepting the conditions and enjoying the "watering " of the lush and green garden of plants and trees allowed a deep connection with nature. We will return again and again to this well kept, simple and enjoyable resort.

Lovely bungalow resort on a great beach”
These bungalows are reasonably modern and built in a very pleasant arrangement (i.e. not in a straight line) giving the place a jungle feel. Some of the bungalows are a fair walk away from the beach. There a 2 swimming pools, both are in proportionate size, however, with children you might prefer somewhere with a large pool should they like playing on lilos, etc. I would recommend this resort if you are a couple rather than if you have small children. The clientele is mainly German and I believe there are several tour companies that use the resort. The location on the beach is wonderful. The beach is a lovely soft sand and the approach into the sea is gentle, should you not be a strong swimmer. Breakfast is adequate. Service is excellent and all the staff did their utmost to help us enjoy our stay. The resort is located a short taxi ride outside of Khao Lak (100 Baht) and I'd recommend taking trips in the evening to try the many restaurants and visit the shops in the area.

Beautiful place between the beach and the mountain”
The room was cool and tasteful with plenty of space. Ours overlooked the top pool and was surrounded by lush, well kept tropical gardens. The main building and beach front restaurant were picturesque Thai style with friendly, polite staff. The food was good and the breakfast plentiful. The bottom pool area was so nice with its view over the Andaman Sea, and walking along the beach was a joy. There are other resorts where you can visit and eat as well, and the town is only a couple of minutes away where you will find plenty of retaurants and tourist shops... but no backpackers etc. A genuinely pleasant place for those wanting something a bit special and away from the usual overcrowded tourist locations. A great place for couples to unwind and enjoy each others compaany.

A good 3 stars resort with fantastic service”
We spent 4 nights in January 2017 with our two kids aged 4/5. The room was big but with facilities that I would rate as 3 stars. It had a lovely balcony overlooking a pond which was lovely. The bathroom was very disappointing with low water pressure and water that were leaking on the floor forcing us to use towels to stop them... also during our stay our bed linen was not changed. the resort itself had plenty of very manicured gardens and lush greenery. Outside our room we spotted a huge lizard which felt like we were in a jungle which we loved. the breakfast was pretty poor in my view. fresh fruit and freshly made omlette but I didn't find the choice appealing. there are two swimming pools and a restaurant which we didn't like. during our stay the vast majority of the guests were retired Germans which meant the atmosphere was very quiet. Along the coast there is a lovely restaurant on the beach which we liked but the best meal we experienced during our stay was having lunch at the Moracea which is about 3 mins walk along the coast. The food there was proper 5 stars. We didn't stay at the Moracea in the first place because it was triple the amount as in Palm Beach and we didn't think it was justified...

An small paradise in Khao Lak”
Beautiful setting among palm trees at the very north end of the beach, quiet and secluded. Clean and nice rooms and excellent housekeeping, the only downsides were the difficult in communicating even in a easy English with the Staff, and the Toilet that insisted in getting blocked even though we never threw any objects in it...I guess was a matter of luck with the room we stayed.
