Top Spot with Views and Luxury ”
The WOW factor was the first thing we got upon our arrival at the Resort. It is located in the grounds of Katathong Golf Club. The Resort was six star with a three star price, maybe as there were not many people booked in. We were greeted by Tony the Resident Manager who made our check in very easy. Tony was full of information about the Resort and what to see in the area, Located only one hour from Khao Lak you will need a car or arrange for transport. If you are a golfer then this is the place to be. We would recommend Katathong Resort to anyone wanting to escape the "rat race" of Phuket and to sit on your balcony looking over the golf course and mountains. Heaven. We shall be back again very soon.

The Most Beautiful Location ”
I really feel I need to right this review, stayed at The Katathong Spa & Golf Hotel during a recent holiday to Phuket, I can honestly say, the view from our hotel room was TRULY BREATHTAKING, so natural and unspoilt, the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, will DEFINITELY be returning.

They have two types of prices. One cheaper for Thai, one for foreigners (Farang) !!! Rude! ”
Asked why is for Thai cheap, the answer is that Farang from Europe have more money and therefore is more expensive for foreigners. We do not have this understanding ...! And they constantly change the rules at Golf with prices. So we are impressed to cheat aliens! We will not come back more here. All that is offered is a fraud. And when the conversation begins at the reception desk, then nobody understand more English. Restaurant the same bad service !!!! One thing is standing on the menu and the other you get on the plate. Big fraud!!!

Is not ready for guest”
The hotel itself was very nice, the room was comfortable, but the hotel is not ready to open for guest to stay. No swimming pool, no gym. Facilities are very lacked down. The restaurant staff cannot really speak English. They do have a gold course. During check-in, the staff didn't my passport, instead of calling me at 10:30 pm at night requesting it because they said they have to submit the report, It was so unacceptable. Other than that, the stay was ok, close to nature. Would recommend staying here once the hotel is ready!

Loved the location and beautiful surroundings. The pool was great but the western food was terrible. We didn't breakfast as it didn't look fresh at 9:30am! If you're a golfer it would be an ideal place to stay and play a few rounds. Get to the breakfast buffet early!

the idea was to play golf in a nice place. Then we found a beautiful place where you can relax, find a nice room and an incredible environment. extraordinarily exciting round of golf with lots of water.

Nice resort on golf course”
We do not play golf but the two swimming pools and waterfall on site together with a nice restaurant made this a nice stop over. The bungalow was fine as would be expected for the price. Hot water shower, tea and coffee with kettle and fridge. Good air con.TV, Wi-Fi. We had dinner, breakfast and lunch there all tasted good and reasonable price.

A Remote Golf Oasis ”
We've been frequent visitors to Katathong and absolutely love the environment. Its a bit remote, so make sure the bring your sundries in advance, as there are no convenience stores nearby. Recommend the Pool Side units, though bungalows, and the main house units are also very nice and modern. Staff is quite accommodating, and the course is always improving and a great experience!
