In two weeks of travelling around Malaysia, this was probably our favorite place to stay. It's not a four star hotel, but it was better than any four star hotel we stayed in, and the price was ridiculously low. The reason for this is that the hotel is run primarily by hospitality students. Each one of them was very friendly and eager to assist in any way possible, t...

It was very nice to return to the comfort of this hotel after long day trips to kinabatangan, sepilok and an overnight on turtle island. Very clean and nice quiet room at the back of the hotel. The aircond tripped a few times about 3 - 4 am in the morning and each time restarted it only run for a while. Luckily after the last restart, it didn't cut off. As for the shower, the taps are old and you have to turn on 2 taps in order to have water. It's bet...

The reception was ...
