The room is big, clean and valuable for money.The location of the hotel is strategically located which Near to local attraction such as Mardi, Cameron Bharat Tea and many more. Also, easy to find food like Mamak SHop, Marrybrown, Taman Apple Cameron (TAC) that offer good grill and steamboat package. i think we are going to repeat to stay in this hotel again next time.

Pros of the Hotel: 1. Room is very spacious with a king size bed, 2 side tables, dressing table, TV console, 2 chairs and a round working table. 2. Very clean and spacious toilet. 1 cubicle for water closet, 1 cubicle for standing shower and 1 bath tub. 3. Provision of digital secured safe box located in the cupboard. 4. Excellent location in Tanah Rata. Walking distance to the town with restaurants and basic ammenities. 5. Hotel provision liasing with 2 travel agencies to provide you with either half or full day tour packages at resonable prices. Although you can walk out to the town to negotiate for a slightly cheaper price, personally I dont think the time spent is worth it since the savings if probably RM 5 to RM 10 per person only. Time could be better spent touring the town or sight seeing. 6. Hotel provision daily breakfast. Breakfast is reasonably good though the spread of food is not fanstatic as compared to the 5 stars or 6 stars hotels. But personally I think its sufficient. Alfresco setting of the restaurant, along with the cool morning weather makes breakfast an incredibly pleasuring experience. 7. Relatively huge open space carpark and a basement carpark. Cameron Highland generally is safe hence driving your car up for a short trip is pretty encouraging. 8. Female Staff (night shift) is very polite & helpful and could remember our names throughout my stay. Cons of the hotel: 1. No wifi in the room. Only wifi in the restaurant or lobby. 2. No provision of slippers in the hotel room. 3. Only 2 pillows were provided. Additional pillows were kept in the wardrobe which doubtfully it might be dusty. Recommend the pillows to be placed on the bed though. 4. Centralize control for the air conditioning system. Occupants in the room has no access in controling the temperature to best suit their needs. Occasionally it can be rather cold at night.

We only stayed one night out of our 3nights at cameron highlands. We was warmly welcome down from out cab to the homely warm check in area, lobby & waiting area. Upon arrival, they are well prepared to even receive you. Check in was quick and friendly by the staff. They send me and guided me up all the way to my room. It was a v friendly gesture. Rooms, we are amaze by hos homely our room for the night will be. Theres living room, bedroom and huge toilets. All of it are connected. It v vintage and pretty. alil oldness in the rooms makes the room w more homely feel. Went to the bar to grab alil bit of drinks. Wine by the fire in the cold is one the best moements in life. Nothing beats this feeling ever. Services, my room's tv channel went misses due to reception. I informed them and attend to this matter quickly. It was fixed quickly aft i had a drink at fhe bar. All off the staff are v friendly. I req for a cab service and they quickly attended to it. The cab came in less than 8 mins time. Its definitely worth the price for such a warm and pretty stay in cameron. Although location is really alil out of the way and ulu but its fine. Its worth the hassle to discover this peaceful beauty in cameron. 1 night is really not enough for us. My cousin love it too! Oh ya! Breakfast is ma ma mia!

Iris resort is beyond our expectation.We book a two bedroom apartment and it was very spacious with all the basic necessities and very clean n well maintained.It was just beside Ye ole smoke house and verry near to the newly located night market.it is also near to tanah rata town.i have been to cameron highland more than 5 times and this is the resort that i really am satisfied with.

+ I ve been 2 day at here and I totally recommend anyone who want to stay hostel in Cameron Highland. It was best located in area which is nearest Bus station and trails trekking. + 5 stars for staff services , Laundry is supper cheap deal (5MYR) + warm Bath is good at Bathroom. - these only thing about Address name I was not comfortable. Cause I Had to ask local where was the square to find out hostel. ( should have big BillBroad as Sleepboxes They Did. Thanks.

I travelled with my elderly mother for the first time to Cameron highlands and had originally booked twin shared bath bedroom thinking that would be enough and price was on budget too. After looking over the room I realised it was too small for our stay and luggage. We asked for double bed attached toilet upgrade and Yemin who were checking us in kindly showed available rooms then suggested to take the family room. It had twin single and one double bed but he arranged it for us at double bed attached room rate. With a few more extra ringgit we had really enjoyable stay for the night there. Total guesthouse is really tidy and neat, on both top and ground floor has open space with sofa,television where one can just chat around. At night every guests maintained a quiet environment which is great for a good night sleep after a long bus journey. He also arranged our next day half day tour, purchased tickets to next place. we were running out of time for bus after our half day tour and lunch so he even brought our luggages and tickets at the bus terminal. Overall I got more satisfying service with a home like environment and nothing to say bad. Toilet,shower and mountain views are better originally than Agoda pictures. I highly recommend this place for either family / backpacker/ couple if you are looking for a good place to stay in Tanah rata with peace, in budget with good environment and also close to bus stoppages.

touched down at cameron highlands at 9pm and hillview inn was so convenient to find. the location was great as it was just a few blocks away from where the food and convenient stalls were. they had a few types of tour packages that were suitable for everyone and my aunt and i went for the rm50 cameron tour where we visited the butterfly farm, tea plantation, mount brinchang, mossy forest and strawberry farm. the pick up was from hillview inn and it was with 8 other people with a driver. our double bed room was sufficient. the weather did not require any air conditioning due to the holes for ventilation and cold air to enter. the toilet was clean and the staffs were friendly. food was simple and good (do try the scones and tea at only rm9.50). our experience was a really pleasant one and we hope to go there again! thank you mr and mrs velu!

This place is neat and clean, centrally located and apparently recently renovated. The rooms are not very big, but the bathrooms are quite voluminous. Wifi works well, but only 4 channels on TV. There is no mosquito screen on the windows and no other ventilation in the rooms, so either the room gets very stuffy or you spend the night battling with mosquitoes, which is a way to pass the time since the beds are so uncomfortable you can hope for a fitful sleep at best. We changed rooms an even looked at a few more, but all the beds seems to be of the same quality, presumably second-hand from another hotel. The mattresses are something like a topographical depiction of the Cameron Highlands, with undulating peaks and valleys. Back aches guaranteed. If it was a cheap place it might be acceptable, but for the price charged one would expect a comfortable bed at least. On the plus side, the pillows are comfortable and the sheets are clean. But unless the mattresses are replaced I would not recommend staying here at all. It really is a pity, because the beds are the only major downside, but when you pay for a hotel room you expect to be able to sleep. Please change your mattresses Zermatt and install either fans or mosquito screens on the window.

We knew we were going to arrive late (midnight) from KL and only stayed a night at Planters Hotel. We checked out the next day. Room, bathroom were clean. Bed was okay. Sheets may have been a little sketchy but it could've been the soft lighting. We were on the second floor, so the sounds of street activity was pretty audible the next morning. We had the windows open. No A/C. Consistent with the hotels I've stayed in Cameron Highlands. I guess they don't really need A/C. The plus side to this hotel is that it's pretty much right smack on the main road at Tanah Rata. Restaurants, food court, night markets, bank and currency exchange are all within walking distance - either just across the road or along the same shopfront-corridor.Our agoda-booked room didn't come with breakfast. The restaurant right next door to reception area could be part of the hotel. We had breakfast a few doors down from the hotel though. Decent, fuss-free, great location but definitely don't expect creature comforts or a calm, serene, quiet stay.

Our stay was good, friendly staff, clean rooms, hotel is located right at the drop off point of the buses. we recommend that when you stay in Cameron highlands that you don't book a tour! It much more fun and cheaper if you rent a scooter, since there is one main road through the highlands there is actually no chance of getting lost. i think there is only one person renting scooter so be there in the morning or book one day ahead!!! trust us, renting a scooter is the best thing you will do in the highlands
