"We stayed for a weekend recently and were upgraded from the upper to lower pavilion. The rooms and bathrooms are huge and very comfortable and they made a nice bed up for my daughter. We decided to go on the Mangrove tour and were talked into taking a private boat - I think they do this to get the best out of the tides. The trip was well worth it with lots of monkeys, eagles, bats and a visit to the fish farm. The following day the dolphins put on a show for us whilst we were eating at one of the beach restaurants. Everyone is very helpful and they children's menu is very good and my daughter enjoyed the kids club. The baby sitter was also very good. I found the swimming pool set up to be a bit annoying with all its different sections and varying depths and the sea was deep quickly and a bit murky. I feel the addition of a fine dining restaurant would improve the hotel."

"Laid back, quiet, private,cold ac, comfortable bed, fridge worked great, rent a scooter for 40 ringgit/day. Some small stores nearby to buy treats, Scarborough fish and chips walking distance has good food with a nice selection. We came for the beach and quiet were not disappointed. Some traffic but sporadic but by 10pm it's done. You can travel the island on the scooter. Koah has excellent restaurants. Just check the map. Dan is the owner/manager and he does everything he can to make your stay pleasant. Hope to return for another great holiday. Nice safe place to stay."

"This is the resort that is NOT for people who wants, classy resort, with good classy feelings, convenient access to places of attraction, near to necessities, shopping, night life and a lot of food.
Labu-Labi is a very near to nature, almost unexplored beach, peaceful & relax, far away from crowds, just you, the seaview, sound of wave and the cup of drinks in your hand. Not to mention the Beautiful Sunset view.
We love the fact that this place is very clean, every morning there will be a beach cleaner, going round the beach and the room is very nicely maintained. Very complete amenities, body shampoo, hair shampoo, complimentary drinks, coffee n tea, water kettle ..... etc. The Wifi is perfect, there's a router is EVERY ROOM, TV comes with ASTRO but then again, who cares, you will be out of the room to enjoy the view whenever you can. Aircon works really well and there's also a water heater shower with very good water pressure. (This is the few things you always read to be problematic in chalet hotels) There's a nice good lazy chair right in front of the chalet for a perfect Sunset view.
For meal convenience there's a nice Western Restaurant <1min of walking, Scarborough Fish & Chips Restaurant.
If you like Water Sports, there's a Water Sport Club nearby, just <1min walk down the beach.
Downside: The lobby is having a renovation and it will caused bad first impression but once you're in the chalet room, everything is forgotten. You need to drive at least 30mins to everywhere you go so to stay here you need transport. "

"Stayed from April 24 to 27. Had the entire beach to myself. You have to rent a car / bike to be at this place. Else you can book a grab but do note there won’t be any available after 7pm onwards from this place due to its location and demand. There’s a fish n chips restaurant next door that serves really nice pizza but the price is a lil more. Few hundred meters away is a Thai Muslim restaurant that serve good food (bring along mozzie spray) and during daytime there’s a little hut that serves finger food, coconut drinks, a massage place and water sports activities. If you just wanna chill, swim and stay indoors, this is the place to be. Far away from everything and everyone. The only downside was April is the wet season so there were bugs all over the room due to the lights at night but the staff changed my room so it’s all good. Journey from airport to cenang is about 30 to 45 mins. "

"We stayed here the last week of December, 2017, and for us it was a perfect base from which to go explore the island, and when we weren't doing that, to sit around and relax.
The view from the beach is beautiful (except for the cement factory on the horizon in one direction), and the hotel is in a very quiet, relaxing part of the island. We rented a car, and I would recommend getting some form of transportation, unless you want to be pretty isolated. There is nothing in the immediate surroundings of the hotel, but just a few minutes away is a beach restaurant, a mini-mart with beer, a fish-and-chips restaurant, and a bustling night market (only open on Fridays). The hotel also has a shared kitchen outside for guests to use. The beach immediately in front of the hotel isn't great, but just up the road is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. If you want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of bars, restaurants, and crowds, this isn't the place.

"Just 6 rooms directly at the beach. Tea, water and new toiletpaper are provided every morning at your doorstep. Scooters available for 40 RM per day. Breakfast available at the nearby fish&chips restaurant (opening 10am). Supermarket directly at the driveway. Opening hours not clear though (beer available). Very nice place to stay. Local restaurant in walking distance at beach (3mins walk, cheap local food, with nice sunset view, opening 5pm)."

"We stayed in a room with a partial beach view . It had an obscured oblique view of the beach. At first we were a little disappointed but the place gets to you and in the end it was fine. There are a lot of rocks out front but if you wait till high tide you can s wim out front and if you. walk round the corner either way then there is a sandy beach all the time..
For the price I’d stay again it’s quiet and charming. Room was clean, beds good, aircon good and food options close by."
