Our room was huge with a private garden cum balcony at the rear with fake grass. My son spent more time out there than being in the room. The hotel is new so everything was super clean, shiny and fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay there because our priority was comfort for our 3 year old son. He was all over the huge room and the person who enjoyed the most. The 3 of us were not able to fully utilize the room - there was a KING size bed, a sofa and a sofa bed. The 3 of us can only sleep at so many places at a time. This is the best location anyone can get in Cameron. It's opposite rows of shops which has banks, restaurants, sundry shops, pharmacy and everything needed for daily life. Did I mention that the hotel is part of a shopping complex? Although not all shops are open, we couldn't have asked for a better location. We're a frequent visitor to CH and this was the best stay.

Pros of the Hotel: 1. Room is very spacious with a king size bed, 2 side tables, dressing table, TV console, 2 chairs and a round working table. 2. Very clean and spacious toilet. 1 cubicle for water closet, 1 cubicle for standing shower and 1 bath tub. 3. Provision of digital secured safe box located in the cupboard. 4. Excellent location in Tanah Rata. Walking distance to the town with restaurants and basic ammenities. 5. Hotel provision liasing with 2 travel agencies to provide you with either half or full day tour packages at resonable prices. Although you can walk out to the town to negotiate for a slightly cheaper price, personally I dont think the time spent is worth it since the savings if probably RM 5 to RM 10 per person only. Time could be better spent touring the town or sight seeing. 6. Hotel provision daily breakfast. Breakfast is reasonably good though the spread of food is not fanstatic as compared to the 5 stars or 6 stars hotels. But personally I think its sufficient. Alfresco setting of the restaurant, along with the cool morning weather makes breakfast an incredibly pleasuring experience. 7. Relatively huge open space carpark and a basement carpark. Cameron Highland generally is safe hence driving your car up for a short trip is pretty encouraging. 8. Female Staff (night shift) is very polite & helpful and could remember our names throughout my stay. Cons of the hotel: 1. No wifi in the room. Only wifi in the restaurant or lobby. 2. No provision of slippers in the hotel room. 3. Only 2 pillows were provided. Additional pillows were kept in the wardrobe which doubtfully it might be dusty. Recommend the pillows to be placed on the bed though. 4. Centralize control for the air conditioning system. Occupants in the room has no access in controling the temperature to best suit their needs. Occasionally it can be rather cold at night.

we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff and were served tea & coffee while doing the check-in. this small gesture certainly put us at ease and made us feel relaxed, especially after a long self-drive up the winding roads to cameron. the deluxe room is very spacious and comes with a bath tub in the bathroom without any compromise on its space. the room decor is like a small comfortable house in old britain, with majority of the furniture made of dark brown wood. no lack of amenities, everything were provided. the only downside is that there is no fan and it can get stuffy without the rooms open. during out first night, we left the windows open to ventilate the room but it was a grave mistake! mosquitoes flew in and we had a couple of bites. breakfast was made-to-order style and the food was simply tasty! each breakfast set consisted of a starter (either cereals or oatmeal porridge), toasted bread + either croissant or muffins, main course (egg + bacon + baked beans + harsh brown + sausage) and drink (coffee or tea + either orange or pineapple juice). a big, sumptuous breakfast that'll leave you feeling extremely satisfied! the hotel consists of several nicely decorated old english-style rooms with vintage furniture, household items and ornaments that serve as good photography spots. the award-winning garden is a great spot to have afternoon tea and enjoy the fresh flowers and air. the hotel's homemade strawberry jam and scones are a must-try! overall, a fantastic hotel to stay in.

this is my 10times vacation in cameron highland. many hotel i stay before this. and this is my first time stay at heritage hotel. my 1st impression is the hotel very unique design. sejuk mata memandang. once i step inside the lobby, the staff at main entrance was very friendly and helpful. they help my family bring all the bags. then i go to the counter for check-in. it's very easy becoz i already booking by agoda. but last minute my family want to add extra bed. so, the staff explain clearly to me and i get the extra bed+breakfast for one more person. great!!! then we go to our room. when i step in to the room, wow it's the big want even the room only for 2 person. when the extra bed arrived at our room, still have more space. the room condition is the best. one more thing, the breakfast is very nice. much variety of food. and i eat cover for lunch also. hehe..so, i will back to this hotel after this. i very recommend to others to stay at this hotel.

ch is our favorite holiday spot. this is the 5th time in 2 years that my hubby and i went to ch and this is our 3rd stay in casa dela rosa. despite of some reviews here, i must say that this hotel has never fail to impress us. our first stay in this hotel is during our unplanned honeymoon where we 'walk-in' on several other hotels in ch and out of all the highly-recommended hotel that we went to, the best offer was given to us by casa dela rosa who provided not only a great deal but also a friendly welcome and excellent service. now, 2 years later, we’re still greeted with the same friendly and warm smiles once we stepped into the lobby. check-in was fast as usual and we were initially given a beautiful comfy room with a garden-view (as we never like a golf-course view anyway). however, there’s some kind of old plants remains piled up at that side of the garden so we asked to change room. within only few mins they’ve helped us moved to a new room which is the exact same room we stayed in during our first stay. the room was well-maintained, clean and gorgeously decorated with english-style furniture. great improvement by replacing the old box tv with a new lcd tv. we really enjoy watching lots of movies from the movie channel provided. the room was also equipped with an iron and an iron board. at night, our room is filled with the smell of roses from the garden which made the environment so romantic and soothing. the bathtub was great for a refreshing hot water dip during the cold weather. breakfast provided in the morning was good with variety of choices. we made mistake by spending our last night in ch at the equatorial. should’ve spend 3 nights straight in casa dela rosa instead. even so, we’re glad we’ve had our amazing nights in casa dela rosa. booking the room via agoda has made it so much better and easier. will definitely use agoda from now on to book a hotel and will definitely be back to stay in casa dela rosa in future.

It was good location, near to Brinchang & Tanah Rata town. The room was clean, staff was friendly. It was good place for families. The best thing was the view outside and the environment. The resort is perfect place for family. Recommend this place to others. Few things need improvement such as bathroom slippers and towels were not provided. Also in 1 of the washroom, the heater was not working properly. The hot water was just a while only. Cooking was not allowed and parking space only 1 car park per house. TV channels very limited only 2 channels working, its better if have more channel. There is also no restaurant or coffee house in the resort and it is must to have a personal car.

I had booked this hotel through Agoda two months before my date of stay and the reason why I chose De La Ferns was because it is still relatively a new hotel. I have heard negative reviews about old hotels having musky smell in Cameron Highlands. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the warm and attentive staff and we were led to our room on 5th floor (I had requested for a high floor room with a bath tub previously). The room did not disappoint. It was spacious, clean and well maintained, no musky smell or whatsoever. Had a really great time in Cameron Highlands. Plus point of the hotel is that it is located at Tanah Rata, away from the busy chaotic town of Brinchang, yet Brinchang is not far away if you have a car to travel. Strategic location, near to Smokehouse where people like to enjoy a cup of tea with their scones. Near to strawberry farms. Clean bathroom, the only thing I wished was that the hot water from the water heater can be hotter, it was not hot enough. Many had complained on Agoda about the noise issue from the Highway which did not really affect me because I am a heavy sleeper and the noise did tone down at night. The only complaint i have is probably the slow internet connection in the hotel which I took an hour to send my email. Morning breakfast was from 7.30am to 10.30am. I had my breakfast at 9.30 am and there was still plenty of food. The selection and choices of food did manage to impress me, I would say it is generally better than many hotels in KL. Though not the best but I find it impressive especially in Cameron Highlands. Hearty breakfast with wide choices, the only thing I wish I could have is non halal English breakfast which is a shame as the hotel has to cater for muslim guests. Overrall it was an enjoyable experience. I will definitely stay again in this hotel. No doubt!=) Thank you De La Ferns, for making my stay a magical one!

Booked the private double room which was o.k but no window! Location was gr8 near to Tanah Rata town centre less than 3min walking and surrounded by restaueants mini markets cafes and other guest houses & hotels so meet up others will be convenient. Wifi was fast, kitchenette facility was gr8. Place was clean and staff are really friendly & helpful. Seggar was best he explained everything to me prepared breakfast every morning for me and even treated me with pain killer when i tripped over the stairs and hut my leg and kept asking about it whenevr he saw me. There is a cafe at yhe geound floor Hideout i guess they're partners and u get 10% discount of ur order by quoting ur staying at the bedstation, food coffee and even tea were gr8 (am not a tea drinker however they serve delicious masala tea). U can rent mountain bikes from there and tgey help u arrange for different tours however i recommend walking along the town and search for tour operators urself for full experiement

The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. She spoke English perfectly. The hotel is located very close to the tourist centre, the bus stop, the main bus stop Freesia Bus Terminal, the main strip of road with all the best restaurants in town. The location was perfect! The price for a single room with private bathroom was by far the lowest I could find. When I got there my room was taken by another guest, so the friendly staff gave me a FREE upgrade to a much bigger twin room! I absolutely enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it to everyone, especially solo and budget travellers!

This place is neat and clean, centrally located and apparently recently renovated. The rooms are not very big, but the bathrooms are quite voluminous. Wifi works well, but only 4 channels on TV. There is no mosquito screen on the windows and no other ventilation in the rooms, so either the room gets very stuffy or you spend the night battling with mosquitoes, which is a way to pass the time since the beds are so uncomfortable you can hope for a fitful sleep at best. We changed rooms an even looked at a few more, but all the beds seems to be of the same quality, presumably second-hand from another hotel. The mattresses are something like a topographical depiction of the Cameron Highlands, with undulating peaks and valleys. Back aches guaranteed. If it was a cheap place it might be acceptable, but for the price charged one would expect a comfortable bed at least. On the plus side, the pillows are comfortable and the sheets are clean. But unless the mattresses are replaced I would not recommend staying here at all. It really is a pity, because the beds are the only major downside, but when you pay for a hotel room you expect to be able to sleep. Please change your mattresses Zermatt and install either fans or mosquito screens on the window.

We knew we were going to arrive late (midnight) from KL and only stayed a night at Planters Hotel. We checked out the next day. Room, bathroom were clean. Bed was okay. Sheets may have been a little sketchy but it could've been the soft lighting. We were on the second floor, so the sounds of street activity was pretty audible the next morning. We had the windows open. No A/C. Consistent with the hotels I've stayed in Cameron Highlands. I guess they don't really need A/C. The plus side to this hotel is that it's pretty much right smack on the main road at Tanah Rata. Restaurants, food court, night markets, bank and currency exchange are all within walking distance - either just across the road or along the same shopfront-corridor.Our agoda-booked room didn't come with breakfast. The restaurant right next door to reception area could be part of the hotel. We had breakfast a few doors down from the hotel though. Decent, fuss-free, great location but definitely don't expect creature comforts or a calm, serene, quiet stay.

We booked this 'hotel' believing that it was located near Tringkap or somewhere closer to the Simpang Pulai Toll Gate. At this accommodation was located in Tanah Rata, we had to travel way further up to reach the destination. However, the good thing was, we reached the area in a much faster time than expected since there were not much traffic at night (but be wary of fogs esp during raining seasons). This budget inn was in a very good condition as it seemed like it had just been recently refurbished. Room was cosy and everything seemed perfect, except for the water heater - not being able to produce enough hot water for the morning shower, probably due to almost icy water. No breakfast provided but warm and cold drinking waters were within reach. Mini markets and food stalls were just around the corner, so our stomachs weren't left empty for long. The best thing was, since we were already at the peak of the area, we had an easy access to lots of interesting places, to stop by as we travelled down the hills on our way back home.

Seeing as it was Chinese New Year, it was a bit pricey. However it was a great location, the room was a good size and it had a good English movie channel. The front desk staff was amazing. I had gotten a ticket for smoking outside the bus station in Ipoh on my way to the Cameron Highlands and was a little worried about it.. The lady at the front desk totally put my mind at ease. The following day she took my ticket to the government office for me and paid it. She took an hour of her time to do this for me and absolutely refused to take any money above what the ticket cost. She said she could tell I was nervous about it and I was her customer so she wouldn’t accept any money! So nice and so helpful!! I will absolutely stay here again next time I’m here!
