Hotels near Monash University

I recently stayed at the hotel and was very happy. I would strongly recommend for staying here, it ismore than 3 stars and you get it cheap, cheap, cheap. Definitely one of my best vacations. This hotel is great starting for the price. The beach is awesome!! The pools are really good and big, specially the one with the bar!!! Rooms: ok The shows are great specially the late nights at the lobby. prepare to dance. Food: 9 The attention is really good. I have to give special thanks to the hotel for making me and my family fell like home and for your great talent with the saxophone. You always are looking forward for people to have a great time and that is something the public appreciate. Wish you the best. Finally all i can say its visit KL and make your own review. I am in KL now but i am dreaming to go next year to KL. My family and I had a great time and will repeat here.

We travelled from East Malaysia for a long Sunway weekend to visit family and friends. I stayed at Sunway Clio with my mom and 6 year old son in December 2016. It was perfect for our needs - proximity to the mall and Monash university (where my niece has enrolled); as well as the USJ neighbourhood - ever accessible via taxi. Staff were extremely hospitality savvy- from concierge, reception, housekeeping, F &B - very helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel and our room, give off a brilliant new and sparkle feeling as Clio was reopened in early 2016 following a renovation. Beds and pillows very comfortable - two shower options in the spacious bathroom, and tasty food at breakfast. One point to note, our taxi driver from the airport didn't know it as Sunway Clio but luckily knew it by its old name (Pyramid West). Good thing I knew it's old name. All in all, a lovely long comfortable weekend in the West Wing of Sunway.

Genuinely a 5 Star hotel. Room very clean and is really a non smoking room. No bad smell compare with other hotels. The extra bed is very descent sized and comfortable for an adult. Service is prompt and staff very friendly. The isolation of the rooms are good so that you don't hear the noises next door or along the corridor.We were amazed with the free breakfast. The choices and variety are tremendous and you can't possibly try every dish.It's a full blown buffet which is different from the free breakfast offered by many hotels. The only slightly short fall is the outdoor parking which seems to be a temporary set up and waiting for a proper car park to be ready.Will definitely book the hotel again next time.

Strongly recommend this hotel if you are looking for both comfort and affordability. The WiFi is perfect. Just amazing how I do not need to keep switching networks as I go through the floors. The complimentary breakfast is served by the mamak next door. The store is big, comfortable and you can still use the WiFi! The menu is adequate and the compliments are served well. The ground floor provides a water dispenser too! Room service is great. The bellboy was willing to carry my 6 bags up with no tips needed. However, I was not given a sign to remind the housekeeping to not clean my room during my stay. They did clean my room once and refreshed the towels without minding my mess, however. The room itself is cold,.cozy and comfortable. The cupboard is neat with fancy hangars. The beds are clean and pillows worth snugging. The toilet's water pressure is strong and there is shower options. There are toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and shampoo provided along with bottled water. The hotel does offer spare key cards for RM20 deposit. The only drawback is parking. The hotel is located in such a way that parking is virtually impossible let alone expensive. Park near the nearby compound by the water fountain installation over the weekends for a flat rate of RM3. It is about 5min walking distance anyway. Another drawback is the key card may not respond well when inserted, but just fidget around and it will work anyway.

It being really brand new (opening in August 2017), everything felt really clean and organised. Although my first thought of getting a room without a window was negative, the aircon works really well and you don't feel bad being inside. The bathroom was spacious and amenities provided. Best of all, the staff are amazing! In particular Jenny, one of the receptionists, genuinely provides 5 star services. Highly recommend this place, and it bring very close to mamak stalls, hawker stalls, and sunway pyramid - you can't go wrong for the price.

I traveled to Sunway monthly as I am doing my graduate degree at Sunway University. 33 boutique hotel provide all the basic amenities that I ever need of a hotel room and it is regularly cleaned as well. Additionally, the hotel is at a walking distance to Sunway Pyramid and Sunway Lagoon as well as to the BRT line. The downside: you don't have any window to your room so if you have claustrophobia or the need to see the outside, this hotel might not be best for you.

We did a walk-in and there’s quite a few rooms available, but we compared prices and booked a standard queen with no window through Agoda instead cause we save quite abit from booking online. It’s a very simple square room yet nicely designed. Their pillow cases and bedsheet are comfortably nice smell - makes me want to stay in bed all morning. They had 2 complementary water, but would be nice to have some complimentary coffee packets in the room too 😋. Toilet is a frosted glass - there’s isn’t a lot privacy if you’re traveling with children. Downside of this place is that they are located above a pub, as I am a light sleeper, I could hear the music beating during my stay - I couldn’t sleep until 2 - 3am or either I will wake up at 1am. Since I couldn’t sleep, I read my book until I feel tired/sleepy - they had a light torch attached to the wall which I can conveniently switch it on without disturbing my Husband and son sleeping. Food are a easy to find, they are everywhere - there’s a restaurant located downstairs the hotel and we conveniently went down to had dinner and breakfast - I feel that they are a bit expensive but their food are delicious. We then walk a bit to try another place at (if I could recall, it’s called) Curry House (if I’m not wrong) - there, we had our breakfast on our last day of stay. My most enjoyed meal was the Halal Chinese-Muslim dim sum called Muhd Chan, located the opposite back of from the hotel, near Guardian - wroth the money and my son loves it! Great staffs, but would like to specially thank Jimmy for making our stay comfortable and easy - he’s very helpful in every way and friendly too!

It is a motel actually, rather than a hotel. the bed-sheets and the room are not so clean. The heater didn't work for my room. I smell cigarettes, too, coming from the air conditioner. Stuff are friendly and could call taxi for you, you can also pick meter or non-meter taxis to take. It is in a good location if you have to visit people in Monash University or another college close by.

This is the best hotel with all faclities ...good room , nice location , near sunway phyramid , sunway lagoon , serounding with most of race and type of food restaurant , convinence mart 24 hours , friendly associates , what do aspect with the price your paid and value ....the best of this hotel are water heater ...amd aircondition ,AM and kamal n housekeeping team always served with hearth and extramile ...the best hotel in sunway are ...

The hotel is conveniently located walking distance to Sunway Lagoon and Pyramid Mall. The room and beddings are clean and drinking water(hot and cold)are supplied through a dispenser. Toiletries are supplied except toothpaste and shampoo. Although a liquid soap is provided in a dispenser and can be use as a multipurpose soap if you are not very choosy. Checking-in and out was very fast and hassle-free. Booking through Agoda is very reliable and worry-free as long as you presented the booking voucher.

+ very polite lady staff at the counter did help with request mentioned within few minutes. Place is clean, respectful cleaners. - it's located far from eateries, there is a mamak restaurant behind which i personally dont recommend, had problems with bad stomach ache after consuming the roti canai ( not clean ) and there is a bike workshop next door which looks at customers from the hotel as though we owe them money maybe it's their nature or attitude but for myself i find it unpleasant. Overall the hotel is comfortable salute to that.

The stay at this hotel was very satisfying. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room is also clean. There are no breakfast package but that is not a problem because there are plenty of food outets nearby the hotel. The walkway is also well lit, making it safe to walk back to hotel at night. The location of the hotel is also near Sunway Pyramid shopping center and Sunway Lagoon. But the best part is that the hotel is quite cheap. The aircon and tv are working. The only downside is that the heater of our room is not quite working. So my girlfriend had to take a shower with cold water in the morning. But overall, this hotel is worth for its price.

The last time I stay here is in 2013, they lift still in progress, but now I can use the lift. Last time I stay at level 1 for double queen room, I like the shower. A big one and really nice. So this time I try to book the same hotel. Have book a double queen room, but during arrival, the room was not available. The staff was quiet responsible, give 2 queen bed rooms. Anyway, not a big problem, I'm happy enough. The hotel near Sunway Pyramid, less than 5 minutes walking distance. Value for money and also clean room. The bathroom also clean, the shower is standard one, not as luxurious as in 2013, but it's still good working condition.

Travel can be cheap with hotels that is value for money like this available. Just opposite Sunway Pyramid is definitely worth the value to stay here. Parking is easy and room is clean. Aircon is cold. Everything we need for a good night sleep is available! They upgraded us to the Deluxe Double room. Maybe because they saw me with kids. and no extra charges (shhhh!) Very happy with their service and glad they are doing their best to ensure our satisfaction. Will come back again soon and will definitely recommend my friends to come over and stay here!

Stay was nice and comfortable and satisfying The rooms were nice looking bathroom and bedroom good design and really nice to stay in them. The staff was well behaved and really helpful and nice people. But the internet signal was quite bad and got disconnected few times but overall the speed was good and satisfying. I didn't get the reason why most police officers coming to the hotel which made it for us kind of odd and my perception toward the hotel was doubtful. But other then all this The hotel is a best place to stay in for holidays and good value for money good promotions and overall nice hotel. My rating would be 7.5/10.

The hotel is located quite a distance to Sunway Pyramid Mall. However, a walking distance is good enough during the daytime. My room was upgraded from Standard Double Room No Window View to Standard Double Room with Window facing the road. The view is good but is hot during daytime as the aircond. Water pressure during day and night time is excellent but not during morning before checkout. Water pressure during morning is super slow even shower with cold water. Spacious, affordable, comfortable and super clean. Comfy bed with clean sheets. Can find some local food here in short walking distance. This hotel is cheap and has lift. And there is only two power point.
