Our stay at the Bayview was great. The staff were courtesy, friendly and helpful, the location for our needs was perfect and the room was just what we needed after 3 months on a Thai tropical island in small a 2 star room. The hotel is a quick 10 Ringet taxi ride from the Kauh ferry terminal, and is walking distance to lots of duty free stores and local market restaurants. It is not a beach resort, but has a good swimming pool. The buffet breakfast had lots of Asian and Indian dishes, but still catered for western tastes with cerals, fruits, omelette, toast and coffee. The view from our 9th floor room was great and we felt relaxed by the pool, supplied with towels and deck chairs. We would definitely stay there again if we needed a hotel in Langkawi. If you have travel arrangements to Langkawi, we could really recommend this wonderful hotel. It started right at the time we checked in. Since we had a baby with us we could get a upgrade to a much better room WITHOUT any extra costs. In one word...WOW!! And that when we payed the real minimum for a hotel at this standard. Conclusion: this is your hotel in Langkawi!!

It is centrally located in kuah town. The great thing about this hotel is beside to famous thai restaurant called wan thai and buffet breakfast provided by hotel. Rooms are not that big but clean and comfortable. Recommend for both budget and high standard tourists. The only bad thing i experienced in this hotel is towel got smell which can be due to long storage. They need to do something to get no smell. Hotel provides car and cycle rental with reasonable price and also taxi services. Wifi is only available at lobby so u need to go down to use internet. Of coz u need to rent the car when u r in langkawi . otherwise need to walk a lot if go for sightseeing.

This is a good old hotel right in the Kuah Old Town. Many eateries within walking distance. Good for travellers who do not rent a car. There is a swimming pool but I did not use. Room is spacious. Furnitures are old style but acceptable. Old style mini fridge very efficient ( the new cooler plate mini fridge in newer hotels are simply hopeless. A major reason I decided to try out this old hotel in Langkawi). Cleanliness in the room is good. Good daily housekeeping. The mainly Asian daily breakfast was good for us. Room aircond is very efficient. A good 3-star old hotel. Keep up the good work. We visit Langkawi every 6 months. We will return to stay in our next trip.

My husband and I decided on St. Regis Langkawi, was the best choice, after sourcing a few other hotels. And boy, were we in for a treat. The staff were attentive and friendly. They were very welcoming. We got upgraded FOC as they knew we were on our anniversary. The decor was so immaculate and luxurious. If the facilities in St. Regis weren't enough, you can get a buggy ride to use the sister's hotel, Westin, facilities. The hotels are just next to each other. A butler was assigned to each of the suites, and should we require their services, they would attend to us. I've never felt so pampered. I wish I can come and stay in this little piece of heaven again in the future. (:

I stay at langkasuka hotel for 4d3n,what I can say is it was worth hotel to stay. I love the staff friendly as they help us a lot in guiding us choose the best attraction at Langkawi. I would love to stay here again. For me the location is suutable for me but having rental is a must if you want stay here, as the location quite far from airport,cenang beach,cable car.The grab service is easily to get here but if you are in bigger group its affordable. during my stay I didnt book for breakfast, but I have talked to other tourist they were satisfied with the breakfast prepared. This hotel just beside langkawi parade as you can find pharmacy,food,cloth,ATM etc easily. Yeah, the building decoration looks quite old and you need to walk quite far to go to your room, but other than that I was satisfied with the cleaniness and service.👍👍👍

This is the most clean and cozy hotel I stay at Langkawi so far. Surround is very quiet and suitable to those need a good rest without noisy disturbance after day activities. - WiFi available in the room - Breakfast included, simple but is acceptable - Bed is comfort & pillow soft comfort - Bathroom with power rain shower - Deposit MYR50 require when check in, reruns during check out - Ample parking space and pool available Overall pleasant stay and will come back stay again soon.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel in May 2013 for 5D/4N. We liked everything about this hotel - neat & clean, Quiete, good room service & Free wi-fi. Given it rates, I consider it a total value for money. Its close to the main jetty. Though it is next to a main road, its peaceful since the roads are not so much busy. Parking not an issue (its true for whole of Langkawi). I will definitely stay at this hotel if I visit again. There is a cheap & good Indian restaurant named Hotel Malaysia Restaurant on the same road as the hotel at about 1-2 kms. This is one of those hotels that offer triple & quadruple rooms. Only thing it does not have is a bath tub and sea view - but they wont matter in a place like Langkawi where you engage in activities most of the day time and just want to relax at night.

The hotel is with huge room, especially suitable for family. The description in agoda is wrong, because all in the hotel is family "flat/apartmen", which two room will share a big living room and a bathroom. And the hotel manager will just close the other's room door if you are travel by one person(which mean you pay one room money but get nearly two room space), so there is no case to share bathroom with public person. The room have a balcony and have a little "sea view“， but it is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly, and you can get advice from them for your journey for langkawi. The hotel price is low, so you can save cost for your water sports in langkawi. However, beaware the location of hotel is not good(although it is near langkawi plaza, an old fashion "shopping centre”）， you have to take taxi for sightseeing in langkawi, so it is more suitable for a family or couple to stay here instead of solo traveller. Remember to take hotel breakfast as you can save your lunch cost.

Have not been to Langkawi and before booking with them, I called the hotel to make all sorts of enquiries and their staffs were so patient with me answering to their best knowledge, they were not in the hurry to cut me off. I got good advise from them and am very impressed with the way they treat prospective customers. Guided me with the booking and making sure our request were followed through. The manager took our feedback for future improvements very well. We had a good sharing session. They carry out their business with fairness and I extol them for being honest at sharing with us where to get a decent lunch or dinner and where to shop. I will come back and will definitely put forward my recommendations to my acquaintances.Cheers to the people who made us very welcomed!

I and my Family really enjoyed our stay! We felt relaxed with the clean rooms and surroundings, the approachable and accomodating staffs. The staffs even extended our stay to more than 1 hour as my children are still enjoying visits to beautiful sceneries of Langkawi. Every good descriptive words applicable to this hotel, thus, to the management and staffs, thank you so much!

the hotel is one of the best i stayed in during my trip to langkawi. located in the kuah town it will be the most convenient place for those who are coming to langkawi by ferry (taxi is 10 rm from jetty terminal to the hotel, walking distance 25 mins). the hotel is quite new (dec 2011), very clean for the price paid. 2 minuses are the very slow wi-fi and not the best night staff at the reception desk.

We stayed here for a whole week leading to the Ironman Langkawi 2010 event (Feb. 27, 2010). I didn't indicate in my booking that I was joining so they didn't reserve me a room on the lower floors. This would've made it easier for me to bring around my bike since they didn't have an elevator. However, it was ok and our overall stay was very pleasant. The management was very friendly and the staff seemed very knowledgeable. They appeared to be very used to triathletes participating in the yearly Ironman event. This was very helpful since they didn't mind all the bikes and other sports equipment moving around and being prepped for the race. In fact, they were very helpful in providing assistance during race day itself by offering to hook our support crew u with transportation and even a local videographer to cover our event. Location was great since it was a walking distance from Kuah Town where you can do a lot of Duty Free and souvenir shopping. Its also pretty close to the Jetty. Across the street you'll find many small shops and dozens of restaurants serving Malay, Western and Thai food. I'd recommend Citin Langkawi to budget-conscious travelers and triathletes who value clean rooms, friendly staff over the frills of more expensive hotels. I suggest you book early and indicate if you have sports equipment so that they can put you in a room on the lower floors.

I came across this hotel when I was looking for accommodation nearby Langkawi Fair as I had a running event flag off there. The hotel is easier to spot as it's located facing main road. I was welcomed by the friendly staff. I really like my room as it's quiet and equipped with basic needs. I've read the review that there is no lift in this hotel. But this does not bother me much. They gave me the same room for my entire stay though I booked in separately. There are a lot eateries nearby at walking distance. Very convenient to get food and groceries. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended!

After 2 weeks in each of singapore bali& penang this is my favorite hotel Set in a real forest with plenty of entertaining wildlife we love it You do need transport but MR15 will get you to kuah in a taxi but a scooter is cheapest & best The owners & staff are excellent friendly people All in all a gem of a place which i,m sure we will return to & so pleased we found it!!

This hotel is located 15 minutes from the Langkawi airport and around 10 minutes drive to Kuah town. Renting a car would be a good choice since the attraction is scattered around and not located at the Kuah town. You don't have to worry about the noise from nearby surrounding because there is no other shoplot except for the food stall. There are several food stall nearby and I can guarantee you that you wouldn't be starving. They serve very simple breakfast just enough to fill your tummy before you can look for better Kopitiam. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay at MQ Hotel and will considering to stay here if I have other opportunity to visit Langkawi in future.

Hotel staff is friendly and provided useful information on tourism spot around the Langkawi island. The hotel also provide tour package to a few main attraction in Langkawi. Since we made the booking thru Agoda and customer contact is not share with the hotel staff, hence they are not able to contact the customer to offer their tour package which i find it more cheaper and reasonable if compare to other local tour company.

Even a room is quite small and confine space to move around,but its comfortable as we are not stayed in room for 24 hours. For internet service,you should take action because we cant get the signal.Please work hard to fix it. And, maybe you should provide surau for a muslim because of the limited space in room to do prayer. For a better service. However,overall is good and chomelle hotel is recommeded for those who are want to travel in Langkawi.
