"My daughter and I felt well taken care of. We rented a car for 3 days and took a day trip to Lambir Hills and a longer road trip to Niah Caves and Similanju national park. The hosts at Treetop went over and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable and at home. We stayed in the double bedroom our first few nights and eventually went into the longhouse. My daughter was over the moon about catching 3 fish (and eating them too.) The location is not near anything, the WiFi was hazy but to me that was the charm, sort of disconnecting with the outside world. I can't imagine staying there without renting the car though. Friendly felines, dogs and turtles, a great place for older children."
