Hotels near KFC Restaurant

My room was one bedroom suite twin bed. The room it very spacious, suitable for big family (with additional matress). There are mini-room inside the room just for the bed. divided by glass wall with sliding glass door. But, because of the room design, it felt a bit awkward watching TV through the glass. it's either 'if you want to watch TV, you have to go to the living room', or 'if u want to sleep, you can only watch the TV through the glass wall of the room'. The room provided microwave oven and mini refrigerator (which is very nice to have), but does not have iron (which is very cheap compared to the oven). The bedding is hard and uncomfortable. it felt like you are sleeping on a cheap matresses. However, the location is very convenient as it is near to 7eleven, watson, and other food amenities. But, the reason I bring my family to come to cameron highland is because I want to get relaxed and to get more privacy while enjoying the panorama. So, next time I rather book other most known hotels such as copthorne, heritage and century pine because you can get almost the same price with this type of room. the only difference is that this room is a bit spacious and has a microwave oven.

I was traveling in a group of 5 so we booked a twin-sharing room and a triple-sharing8. We called the hotel direct line to make our bookings and made deposits via bank transfer. If you plan to call, ask for this one staff. She's very friendly and informative. Our sole purpose is photography adventure (taking photographs) so we only use the room for sleeping and bath - meaning most of the time we were not in our rooms. They supply clean towel, soap and shower cap. If you need other toiletries, you can buy them at a mini-mart (200 meters uphill from the hotel entrance). They have two drinking glasses and a flask for hot water. HOWEVER, to get drinking water you have to go to the first floor(there are 4 floors in total) where there is a water dispenser. The water dispenser supplies both hot and cold water. There is no tea of coffee making facilities in the room. There is a 14 inch TV but you can only view two local government run stations - RTM1 and RTM2. There are NO elevators - ONLY STAIRS. They don't provide breakfast but there are plenty of restaurants around the block (Fast food joint - KFC is opposite the hotel). There is a gas station near by (right next to KFC) The night market is a major attraction with local traders plying their trade right in front of the police station. Which is about 500 meters from the hotel. Personally I find it better to have my meals at KFC or the night market (for dinner) than the restaurants because the restaurants charge at exorbitant prices and far more expensive.

I was in Cameron Highlands for five days for rest and relax. I didn't want to drive too much for food and things. This hotel is centrally located in Brichang, surrounded by many restaurants of various cuisines, convenient shops and a small morning market. Many local places of interests are just at driving distant. Also another reason why I chose this hotel is because the night market is at walking distant. Parking is an issue when the night market is held every Friday and Saturday. This is a proper large hotel with friendly staff (there is a very friendly waiter named Siva who will start a conversation with the guests), good breakfast with local dishes (best fried noodles and fried kuey teow I've ever eaten) and clean room, though I think it's about time for some refurbishment as the furniture is old and the carpet is tired looking, maybe due to the cold weather. There are many shop house hotels in Brichang but this is really a proper large hotel.

A very good and nice hotel to stay. The room is so spacious with a clean spacious bathroom. The water heater is great. The bed is nice and comfortable. The receptionist are friendly and pretty with a sweet smile on their face. The location is very good with lots of chinese, indian, malay and tomyam restaurants and food stalls around the area. The foods are very delicious and have lots of varieties (i love the satey brinchang) Convenient supermarket also nearby to buy our daily needs. The was also KFC nearby. Souveniers shops just infront of the hotel. Also we can have local malay kuih (goreng pisang, keropok leko etc) The hotel very friendly for all ages (ramp and elevator) You need to plan your time for parking. Yes free parking are available a lots but dont try to park your car from 5:00pm to 8:00pm because it will be full and hard to find, this is due to all the crowds come to the hotel area to have their dinner from the nice restaurants around there.

clean room, location is perfect in the center. by walking u can reach big red strawberry farm or several steamboats,kfc. good TV with fox movie. water is working well with heater. buffet breakfast is different everyday. it's simple and local style,not bad. stayed for two nights. the first was perfect. the second we opened d window and many mosquitoes. tho located at the back of the street, it's very noisy at 3am when ppl talking outside. but otherwise it's very good still. there's a new building opposite under construction so not sure if it's gonna be the same next year.

First timer. Did not expect much, but when I first walked into the room, I was really surprised by how spacious it is. Love the king-sized bed. The bathroom is great. They have a Coway machine at the hallway (at every floor), so you can have hot/cold water, there's also a sink to clean up and a table with stools and books on the table, so you can hang out if you want to. However, my room is facing the construction work next door, there's a spotlight shining through the bathroom (because there is no curtain in the bathroom, the window is tinted with white-coloured film), so the room is actually very bright at night. A little difficult to sleep but because I was too tired, I managed to get some sleep. I like the location, if you don't mind to walk, you can explore the small town, there's a KFC nearby, many restaurants as well. Staff is great! Overall, it's worth staying here.

From my review with previous customer stay at this hotel was good I want to give a try to this hotel also the price is within our budget. We arrive at this hotel early around 1.30pm and I proceed to the registration counter, the staff say that hotel check in was 3.00pm and I said never mind we will wait at the lobby while I do the registration only. The lobby area was comfortable with many of sofa available also at the outside they provide a chairs. So we don't have a problem while waiting to the 3.00pm. This hotel building also have restaurant for malay & Chinese food / bakery ( halal ) also have souvenir shop. I eat at the Chinese food, the food is so delicious also have try the strawberry scone, I give 4 star to the strawberry scone. Then actually I check in at 2.00pm because the room is available. The crazy thing happen when the staff give me free steamboat coupon ?? haaa...free, yes its free for the hotel guest. Normal price is rm22 per head. We 4 of us having dinner at the restaurant and it was much of food ( steamboat choice ). I thinking how they earn the profit while can give guest such a free steamboat. The breakfast also not disappointing because plenty of food such as nasi lemak. bihun goring, kueh tiaw, bubur and bread. Hotel location is in Brinchang but not too near to Pasar Malam need to walk around 10 minutes. For my advise try to avoid buy jagung, strawberry at Pasar Malam....it a bit expansive. Go buy at Kea Farm area more cheap. But this hotel also have a not good item that is my room water heater not function properly need to call maintenance to fix it. Water heater also in old condition that cannot see the water level. That only need to be improve. Others than that I highly recommended to all of you to stay here. I will come again. haaaaa...miss the strawberry scone.

The room very clean, very comfortable to stay and bery large. The facilities were very excellent. I am enjoying myself staying here. The location was also very strategic. Got a supermarket downstairs. Also have KFC restaurant and foodcourt infront of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and kind. I would like to stay here again next time. Highly recommended to everyone that seeking for an affordable price. Must try this beautiful hotel. They got a living room also for us to relax. Also have mini kitchen, ironing facilities and water dispenser.

It was my first time trip vocation to CH. Wow..!! this hotel was new refurbished and look new and also their bed was superb, comfortable.. i like it very much. Their hotel closed to the night market, only 5 minute walk away, and also easy to getting the breakfast, just go down & can see the center market. if u wanna to eat fast food, KFC is just in front of hotel. Hopefully i will stay here for my next trip vocation.... =)

We were very happy to stay this hotel. Staff were friendly and nice people and our room was clean and tidy. We were a bit worried if it is too small for two of us since there was some reviews mentioned the room size. but it wasn't small and bed was comfy. Not really problem but light in washroom was off all the time so had to use flashlight on our phone when we use washroom. Also there was a lot of mosquitos in our room. ( a window in a washroom was opened and couldn't close it) Over all we enjoyed our stay there and I recommend this place :)

Had a "double bed shared bathroom", The room was large, had a queen size bed, a chair, small table and wooden sofa. A cupboard for hanging clothes, a flat screen TV and satellite receiver. Two towels and bars of soap. An electric water kettle and two cups. Tea, sugar and hot water is freely available. Common rooms with sofa and TV to meet fellow travelers. Toilet and shower are kept clean. They are functional but not luxurious. 2 rooms and one dorm shared a toilet. My room was facing the road and a mosque across the street. After sundown the traffic reduced and the road was quiet after 23.00. The owner of the hotel checked me in, helped me carry the luggage and showed me around, familiarising me with the facilities. The lady at the desk suggested activities, warned me of unsafe trails and told me about tours and bus services in a non-pushy way. Finally, at checkout she called the bus station and pre-booked a bus ticket, followed me to the bus stop and told the bus driver this was a transfer and should be free of charge. The cleaners were polite and a bit shy. I have not received such a service at any hotel before, not even 5 star one's. The house is old, windows hang a bit. ascew and needs to be lifted to be properly closed and still let in a some fresh mountain air... Ask for an extra blanket if needed. Yes, I will come back if possible!

This is a hotel cum restaurant business sitting right in the heart of Brinchang. You know what that means -- traffic jam! So be analytical, learn to read a map, plan your logistic and most importantly, make deductions and calculate the best time to drive in and out of town -- that could save you tonnes of hours wasted on the road! So once you're parked near the hotel, forget about driving out again. Explore the town on foot. There are several walkable attractions around Brinchang so put on those sneakers, be adventurous and breathe in the fresh air while you still can. The Strawberry farm, Cactus farm, Sam Poh Temple are all within your radius and you are good for an evening at Brinchang. Try the Hotel's Restaurant downstairs. If you're not a fan of Steamboat, fret not. A customizable variant of Chinese "da chao" (Big wok-fry) or "Xiao chao" (Stir-fry) dishes on the menu could save you a 10% off each item if you stay in the lodge. The beverage is good but make sure not made by Bangla.

Price is cheap for a nice hotel. Comfy bed, comforter and pillows. Unlimited free tea. Clean toilet. Receptionist is nice but you have to deposit RM100 plus tourist tax which is not reasonable since it's just a guesthouse. Not sure why they're requiring a deposit for a budget hotel. Location is near restaurants but mostly steamboats. There's a nearby KFC though. You can only visit two known attraction - Big Red Strawberry Farm and Sam Poh Temple. Those are nearby and you can just walk going there. Other main attraction are quite far and you have to pay 20-30RM one way for a taxi ride.

Located in the town center of Brincang. Simple but comfortable room. I have been here a few times booking the same hotel. The price is Ok for a family room for 5 person. But every year there will be price increase. Parking is a problem but once you get it do not move or it will be taken away by another car. RM0.60 is charged every hour from 0800 am till 1800 hrs daily including Saturdays & Sundays & make sure to get ready your parking tickets as the enforcement team is very efficient in issuing summons. Food is not a problem as there are many restaurants at walking distance. Maybe due to dry spell, during my visit it was not cold at all in the afternoons. Morning and night is ok. Overall a recommended hotel for a short stay in Cameron Highlands.
