This hotel is located nearby some attractions such as strawberry farm and cactus farm. We went to Cameron Highlands for our short vacation and staying there for 2 nights. We arrived late at around 9PM. The hotel's location is very strategic, it takes about five to ten minutes drive to reach the nearby strawbery farms, butterfly gardens, market, cactus valley, Sam Poh Buddhist temple and Time Tunnel. It provides us with a free buffet dinner which is more than enough for a couple. It is a good hotel to stay overnight. Overall service is satisfactory.

I would recommend this place for anyone who wants a cheap and good accommodation at Cameroon Highlands. The service was good and the location was really apt as its located near all eateries and you just need to walk up few kilometers to catch the cactus valley and stuff. If you walk down south, there a an awesome place selling tom yum soup for the chilly weather!

Travelled whole penisular Malaysia and changing few hotels, by far this was the best for this trip. There is an oku elevator to ease the moving of lugagge and mobility. Location was great but deprived of parking space. Staffs are helpful. Good housekeeping and maintenance. Overall a pleasant stay. Will come back again.

The Silverstar hotel is located in the middle of Brinchang, near Cactus valley, pasar malam and many restaurants around. Very strategic, close to shop, restaurant, easy to park, this hotel just renovate so i'm very satisfied with the room (we booked for family room - king size hotel). Will return to this hotel again if i got the best deal for price and very recommend to stay at this hotel on weekdays.

This is a hotel cum restaurant business sitting right in the heart of Brinchang. You know what that means -- traffic jam! So be analytical, learn to read a map, plan your logistic and most importantly, make deductions and calculate the best time to drive in and out of town -- that could save you tonnes of hours wasted on the road! So once you're parked near the hotel, ...

From the hotel, it's very easy to go to many tourist attractions, from Cactus Valley, Big Red Strawberries Farm to the famous temple which is only 15 mins walk. The receptionist was very nice, he could help you arrange a tour-day around Cameron Highlands for you to explore the area by yourself. Free hot tea (self-serve) and drinking water.
