Hotels near Bangsar Shopping Complex

From being greeted by a friendly and helpful Concierge team upon arrival, to the very professional check-in process by experienced and smiling counter personnel, to being shown to a specious, well appointed and very clean room AND experiencing this type of consistent service product during our one week stay, was extremely satisfying. ONE WORLD is a true Five Star hotel, where quality service is in abundance and never needed to be requested. The staff in all departments appeared to actually enjoy working in the hospitality industry and were all fluent in English. One unique service was the Hotel Operators ability to give assistance, no matter the nature of the call. While other "Five Star" hotels where I've stayed offer this type of "one call service" (and simply transfer your call to the appropriate department), the ONE WORLD operators really do provide this "one call service". For business guests, the Hotel Business Center is a full service business center, with professional personnel that understood the nuances of my requests. For Shoppers, the Hotel is connected to a huge shopping complex with an array of international stores and a "bazillion" local and international restaurants. For my fellow Golfers, the KL Golf & Country Clue is a stones through from the ONE WORLD. (KLGCC is where the PGA and LPGA hold their annual tournaments in Malaysia.) Be sure to mark ONE WORLD as a "Favorite"!

I really enjoy my stay at the Royale Bintang Damansara Hotel. It is very comfortable. I really like it. It is quite close to Ikea and Curve Shopping Complex. I can say that I enjoy my stay and do shopping at that area. I saw that the skating ring is also quite close to the hotel, so that in future I'll bring my children to stay here so that they can go for skating beside swimming at the hotel pool. Very clean and big. The room is really big and the arrangement is very neat. The bathroom is clean and there's nothing to complain about the hotel.

With the price, I couldn't get any other better hotel in KL and it's only 10minutes drive to Bangsar Village nearby. Also, there is a bathub in the hotel room as well, so you can enjoyed yourself there. The facility such as steam room, sauna are new and nice too. What surprised me was, I arranged a birthday deco in the room and Sofitel do not charge me a single cent. I will definetely recommended to my friends.

Initially my plan was staying in Damansara Perdana for 1 night but due to extended meeting, I had to book 1 more night. First night went ok. This hotel is definitely value for money. However on second night, my room was condition was poor. I was too tired to request for room change so I've informed the front desk when I was checking out next day morning and showed pictures I've taken from the room. Kohleen, very friendly and polite young lady immediately and sincerely apologized to me. She told me she will inform her manager and get back to me. Within an hour, I've got a call from Kohleen apologizing again. She has informed me I'll get complimentary room upon reservation. I've also got a text message from manager Chong who also apologized sincerely. I had to stay one more night for meeting so I have booked through Manhattan again. When I was checking in, the front desk guy (whom I haven't met before) also apologized for what happened. Clearly, they left note for my reservation and let all staff know about this. I'm not a fuss person when it comes to accommodation so I have stayed guest house to 5star hotels. Manhattan has the most proactive staff I've ever experienced (even if I compare to 5 star hotel in kl city) and all are professional. You don't expect this professionalism from budget-business hotel. Business travelers do not want to face issues with hotels after long meetings usually but they clearly know how to deal with problems and understand the meaning of customer service. I really think they can call themselves Manhattan "business" hotel.

The hotel just few minutes walk from the shopping mall i.e. The Curve, Tesco Extra, Ikea and One Utama. Nearby is restaurants and got free parking. Hotel also got free shuttle to the nearby business office and shopping complex. Very fast and helpful front desk staffs. My room's bulb got problems and after make the complaint, their maintenance staff already respond and solve my problem. He even call the housekeeping to clean the dirt. My room is big and clean, the design also quite modern and we are very happy to stay at the 18th floor which can see the shopping mall. The security system is good, only the house guest who got the room card can excess to the floor and we even can go to our room direct from the basement car park. We only need to exchange the parking card with the front desk staff we want to go out and no limitation of usage the car park. Wifi signal is very strong and fast. The only problem I facing is difficult to locate the car park space near the hotel lift even got signboard direct to the hotel lift as the car park is very big. Overall are excellent.

The hotel have to branches. One in Mutiara Demansara while the other in TTDI. I suppose to book the one in Mutiara but I was careless. Apparently, I booked the one in TTDI. I arrived at the hotel around 8pm and checked in. The next day I ate my breakfast . They have mushroom egg and pork and beans and coffee. Lovely! I came back to the reception to request for transfer to the other hotel. I told them I want to transfer as the other branch is near to Demansara performing arts theatre where my friend is performing later. Long story short, the staff was able to to arrange my transfer. I am grateful to the staff of TTDI. Thank you for understanding.

uptown is famous for being a food heaven, and with a new mall there Starling Mall, there's even more reason to frequent this place. There are 2 sovotel boutique hotels here, mine is Sovotel 101, located behind the corner starbucks and Chilli Pan Mee shop. The other one is Sovotel 36 - facing LDP highway. Do take note while making your booking :) My room is clean, facilities are good and hot water shower working fine. Bed is also comfy and drinking water is provided. You can borrow a hairdryer from the front counter is needed. With the money Im paying, im very satisfied with the service I received. One complain, there seems to be a renovation ongoing next door. It was a Sunday, yet at 9am I could hear drilling and hammering right next to my room wall on the ground floor. It went on for 2 hours and stop slightly before lunch time.

Pros Location was good as its located right after exiting Damansara Toll. Has plenty of parking space. Near to One Utama Shopping Complex. Has many eateries below the hotel as well as convenient stores. There is a 24 hours mamak shop with good food at the other corner of the hotel. Free flow of Coffee, Soya and Milo and filtered water. Value for money. There was someone smoking at the staircase area which is where our room was located, the smoke came into the room and causing discomfort for my pregnant wife at 5am in the morning. Luckily the management allow us to switch to another room with no extra charges.

Basic room is really suit for solo traveller. Although it is not public transport convenient, the hotel is surrounded by a lot of cafes and even there is a shopping mall behind the hotel. Just a walking distance you can go to the family mart, nearby have 7-11 stores. 5 mins drive to the Tropicana Mall and 1 utama. The staffs are polite and good service. For those who drives, it maybe not that convenient because the parking lot is really less. Overall the hotel is okay to stay and the price is reasonable!

I feels this hotel has been terribly under rated by previous customer.i stays here for 5 days during my training at centrepoint.its 15 minutes walk through kg kayu ara,not much of a walking pavement but still possible to walk.for a very good price i get: -a clean room -chill aircond -hot shower -local tv -breakfast/dinner stall at back of hotel -hotel can serve heat up instant food at lobby -taxi available at petronas 3 minutes walk from hotel -free parking at hotel area(its a workshop shoplots) -15minutes walk to centrepoint

My room are full with designs of lighthouse & sea theme, all rooms have differ designs you may request the design you like in advance. Room is clean & quiet. The only hotel have elevator in Damansara Utama area. Staffs is very friendly. If you drive after 9pm got plenty of parking in-front of the hotel. You may also request car park from the staff in advance too. Location near public transport station and go to MRT station, One Utama & The Curve shopping mall you may take a bus which at a very low fare or like me take a GradCar (grab.com / uber.com) it's just cost me RM5, 5-10mins driving distance. Besides, Starling Mall is just less then 1mins walking distance. Easy for me to travel around, highly recommended n will come back again....Well, this location have lots of good foods surrounded. "

2 star Hotel.. Wallpaper not nice.. Wall not paint.. Room service have to inform.. No water bottle but have water Dispenser on each floor No toiletries provided.. Only tissue and towels are there. No mug, cup or plates. Rm88 still expensive for 1 night , can consider if it's below rm70 with service charge. Got free parking. Next 2 or 3 door is Liquor shop. 1 Indian restaurant, 1 Malay restaurant and 1 Chinese restaurant is nearby.

We stayed for 4D/3N and we were very comfortable in this hotel. Online booking provider did a bit of a mess up on our booking and as such we were in a double room for just one night before, the hotel was able to sort us out into a family room. The room are basic but it was very clean, beds were comfortable and the shower was just simply superb. The air-condition was very good as well . The family room has windows which was very nice. Our first night in the double room it even has a common dinning area which was handy. The location of the hotel is just perfect where it was near a plethora of shops and restaurants and there is even a bus-stop near the hotel for those who need to move about in buses. Staffs were just so very efficient and friendly where they are ever ready to attend to your every need. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful and we wish you the very best.
