“Very convenient and accessible, but the toilet might be a deal breaker”
The hotel is a walking distance away from AEON Mall (walk through the back alley to the left upon exiting the hotel entrance, and via the carpark entrance; I couldn’t find any nearby pathway), making it really convenient, considering there isn’t alot of restaurants around. Hotel staff were extremely accommodating and friendly so that’s a very big plus always. The room on the whole isn’t too shabby (with loose floor parapet and some holes in the wall, but at least it was clean. However, I do think the toilet may be a deal breaker for most tourists - there is no ventilation pulling the air out. So after your first shower, you can expect the toilet to have a musky smell that stays there permanently throughout your stay. Short of letting that air out via your room (which you probably would abhor), there is no other way around it. Another potentially minor issue would be that there are lots of pigeons around, and coincidentally there is a ledge outside the room’s window for them to nest. So expect occasional pigeon’s hooting through the night. If they can fix the toilet issue, I do think it is a good place. Hence, as much as I am willing to put up with it for the convenience and stay with them again, I cannot with clear conscience recommend this place to other travellers knowing that almost everyone wouldn’t said no if they knew.
