No frills budget hotel ”

We were actually transiting through KL on our way back home. As we had an 8 hour wait for our onward connection, we decided to give Sepang 99 a try. We were not dejected. The property is relatively new and extremely clean. This is the best option when a budget hotel in proximity to the airport is concerned. There are a multitude of good dining options around the hotel including fast food giant Burger King. A few minutes walk will get you to KIP mall...not a mall in the true sense. But, has many dining options and stores for bargain buys. The property itself was 10 minutes from the airport on Warisan. However, if you are planning to visit the city centre, don't think about staying here. The bathroom too was spotlessly clean and so was the bed. We could get about 2 hours of sleep before the next flight, freshen up and get to the airport well ahead of time. So, in short a giod choice for people looking to have a nice rest before the next journey!

I left my laptop in the hotel room and only realized after 3 hours check out and arrived in KL. I called the Hotel and the officer responded well and informed me he would call me back later. After a few minutes the representative of the hotel called me again asking me to pick up my laptop at the hotel. Thank you Hotel 99.Sepang

Exceptional”

Everything is brilliant. With the simple breakfast till their shower, everything was perfect. Location wise, near to Sepang International Circuit and KLIA. And there are lots of restaurants nearby. Definitely going to stay here again

Great location, excellent price but bring ear plugs”

Booked Hotel 99 for one night while in transit. Conveniently located to KLIA, great price, quick and easy check in and friendly staff. Used the Mistui Outlet Park free shuttle from KLIA2 to go to the outlet mall after the flight then got a taxi to the hotel from there. Plenty of food options close by, found a great local eatery that served western and Malaysian food. Room was clean and provided basic toiletries. Shower was great although a little leaky meaning the toilet/bathroom got very wet (small thing) so be careful where you put your clothes. I had a room with a window facing the main road which to be honest was like having front row seats to a grand prix. The traffic noise was relentless and only subsided for a couple of hours before it ramped up again in the morning. So I would definitely recommend air plugs or a room that does not have a window or face the main road. Other than that this is a great option as a transit hotel.

It's good for what it is - Here is what you need to know”

Stuck having to stay a night or two near the airport in Kuala Lumpur? This is the right spot for you. To be clear: I do not like Kuala Lumpur. I don't like the food, I don't think it's a nice place. I don't care about the "sites." I just needed a hotel near the airport, and this is the closest one. And it's surrounded by 10+ American fast food chains (world's better and safer than the alternatives). The hotel was clean, the room was modern, the wifi was good enough. And there's a good gym 2 doors down and up the stairs. Perfect place to honker down and get through a couple of days without any issues or problems. IF I'm ever unlucky enough to have a biz meeting near the airport again, I would stay in this hotel to ride out the storm.

This is new hotel, easy to find front of main road, near to Sepang and KLIA. Around here is full with food, mini mart and clinic.

The location was just 15mins to KLIA.. it is a budget hotels but overall it is very good.. there's so many shops and restaurants beside the hotel and it is easy because there's no need to search for food elsewhere.. just one problem, there's a lot of mosquitoes in the room, but it is solved by using the aerosol spray.. other than it is recommended.

Newly opened hotel (about a month). They provide basic toiletries, water heater, complimentary bottled water and instant coffee. There is water refill machine at hallway. Bed is very comfortable. Room design is modern and spacious.

Almost Perfect”

I stayed so many times at this hotel, located nearby KLIA Internation Airport. So many local and Indian restaurants around this Hotel, about 5 minutes' walk There have KIP Mall. If you are not in a hurry, you can take free bus from KIP Mall. If you want to go airport early morning, you need to talk with Front Office Staff for a shuttle bus. Difficult to find Grab on that place before 6 on the morning

Located just a short drive away to the airport. It is the perfect combination of convenience and comfort for business and transit travelers. Overall the hotel was easy to find & very modern. Quick to check in and express check out. Love to stay again ...

Rm30 for early morning car to klia”

Stay one night for transit to KK. The next morning I went to klia at 5.30am. Hotel help me to book car at only rm30. No worry n peace of mind🙏🙏🙏 0528 when I reached ground floor, the car is oredy there. Good experience to stay here. My room is spacious at only rm113. 50

Near airport, strategic location, brand new hotel. Staff very helpful & friendly”

Nearby shops, mall & convenient store. Only 10-15mins drive to airport, via express train to Salak tinggi station is cheaper. Spacious room & bath room with twin bed, staff was very helpful. Cost RM35 only for airport transfer. Room cleanliness was good, the only problem was the edge of the room corner has a little of dust & the towel was very dusty, it seems the towel was brand new and haven't been used yet.

A good example for All the hotels”

The impression when I first walk in was very good as the receptionist, a young man( sorry didn’t get his name) greeted me with “welcome sir” and looked at me and was very quick and helpful, with a clear voice to give me all the information I needed. Would be happy to return if i need a quick over night before my flight at KLIA. 15 min to airport. Room is clean and neat. I would highly recommend it.

Excellent”

Pro - near the airport. There are nearby restaurants at the hotel. Cons- Had old blood stain on the blankets. Alot of ants. Room not soundproof. Can hear people passby and doors opening and closing loudly.

Awesome Hotel”

This my 3rd times visited this hotel, while transit in KLIA, I really love stayed on this hotel, because of new hotel, cheap, near by the airport, so many local restaurant around this area. Shopping Mall. But Staff not really friendly... High recommended for stay here

Poor service”

The staff not communicative. I book this hotel cause near klia airport, I requested for airport pickup, but the hotel staff didn't respond my request . I don't mind if they can't provide it. But at least give me a confirmation as soon as possible , weather they can make it or not. So I don't wasting my time waiting & worrying about airport pickup.

Morning Flight ”

You don't have to worry about morning flight. The hotel will arrange taxi to airport and it only cost RM 30 per trip to KLIA/KLIA 2.

Bad service”

The hotel itself was satisfactory. However, I ran into some issues that really upset me. First of all, the receptionist held onto my IC during the check-in process and did not return it to me. They continued holding on to it for several days without bothering to inform me about it, even after I checked out. I only found out that the hotel had my IC after I called them to ask. It is illegal in Malaysia to store a person's IC! My question is: why did the hotel not contact me immediately? Why was I not informed about my IC! Luckily I was able to return home with my passport. Besides that, I booked a Superior Queen Window room on Agoda. When I arrived at the hotel, I was instead given a windowless room. Upon bringing it up with the hotel, they insisted that it was not their fault and that I should bring it up with Agoda instead. Shouldn't this be the responsibility of the hotel? Why is it the customer's responsibility? I had my documents with me and proof of the booking too!
