I love beach resorts and often stayed at 4 to 5-star resorts overseas, like in Bali, Phuket, and Nha Trang. Although Granvirio may lag slightly in terms of facilities, the staff provided very polite and kind service. Additionally, the large public bath, which is not found in overseas hotels, was incredibly refreshing. The cleanliness of the guest rooms and common areas was also meticulous, and the sunset view from the beach behind the hotel was stunning. Personally, just being able to see this sunset made for a wonderful time. Moreover, the breakfast buffet was very delicious and plentiful. It's also conveniently located about a 10-minute taxi ride (around 1200 yen) to the shopping district and Ishigaki Island ferry terminal, making it a great base for travel. To summarize, Granvirio was one of the few hotels I would like to visit again. I am very grateful for the wonderful time I had this time. I look forward to the next visit as well.

I stayed in a loop room, and both the room and bathroom are spacious. The pool isn't big, but they lend out tubes and towels, and the large bath has everything like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and cleansing foam, so you just need to go and wash up, which is really convenient. The layout isn't far apart, and they pay attention to every detail, making it easy to use. The staff are really friendly, and I like that there's an airport shuttle. It's a pity I only stayed one night.

This hotel was gorgeous. Amazing views and a nice pool area. It is a little far from things, so you will need to drive or take a cab into the town area around restaurants and bars or to any of the tourist destinations. I did not use the spa but I looked in and it was very nice! Wish I would have tried it out. It rained most of the time we were there so we didn’t really get a chance to sit around the pool. Would love to come back another time, not during rainy season. The rooms were spacious and very clean. It was a really nice place to stay!

Pros : baby cot in big bath facility ,. Breakfast was very good and especially the Japanese style . But also, they made crepe , pancakes and french toast on different day. They also have great grilled beef restaurant . The rooms were new and clean,feels like home rather than hotel . Cons: no beach in front of the hotel

I wanted to give my mother a trip to Ishigaki Island as a birthday present, so I used this hotel for the first time. Since we arrived earlier than the check-in time and wanted to eat Yaeyama soba for lunch, I asked at the front desk. They informed me that I could enjoy Yaeyama soba at the restaurant inside the hotel. They kindly explained how to get to that restaurant, and we passed through a very beautiful garden. Despite it being close to closing time, the wonderful staff, without showing any displeasure, made arrangements for us to sit at the best table with a nice view where we could enjoy delicious Yaeyama soba. After finishing our meal and taking many photos with my mother in the beautiful garden, a staff member passed by, and when I asked if they could take a photo for us, they gladly accepted. On our way to the front desk, we came across a place where many beautiful flowers were blooming, and another staff member was there. When I asked them to take a photo, they took multiple pictures from various angles, allowing us to capture many lovely pictures of my mother and me together. By the time we went to the front desk for check-in, there were already a few guests in line. I had my mother sit on the sofa in the lobby while I planned to wait in line, but a staff member kindly told us to sit and fill out the form while we waited. Once I filled out the form next to my mother, the line at the front desk was gone, and when I brought the form to the front desk, I received a hand towel embroidered with Minsah weaving, placed in a beautiful packaging bag. They said this was a small gift from the hotel for my mother. Pointing at the lovely embroidery on the towel, they explained that this Minsah weaving is a traditional craft of Ishigaki, and the two marks signify the wish for eternal happiness. I was so moved that I called my mother. The front desk staff then explained Minsah weaving to my mother again and wished her a happy birthday. Tears filled my mother’s eyes. At that moment, I became a huge fan of this hotel. When we arrived at our room, we found our suitcase placed in a spacious and comfortable room furnished with clean and elegant furniture. When we stepped onto the terrace, we were greeted with a view of the sea beyond the beautiful greenery. The couch was comfortable and the bed was very cozy. I only stay at top-tier hotels; on my last visit to Ishigaki, I stayed at the InterContinental. This hotel is available for about half the price of the InterContinental, yet the comfort and the responsiveness of the staff surpass that of Granvia, especially at half the price. For dinner, I made a reservation for grilled Ishigaki beef and Agu pork at the same restaurant where we had the Yaeyama soba. When I asked during lunch if we could reserve the same seat we had eaten at for dinner, they happily confirmed that they would prepare that seat for us. With that assurance, we were able to relax and enjoy our time until dinner. I had arranged for a birthday cake surprise with the hotel in advance. When we arrived at the restaurant, just like during lunch, they had set up a table for two side by side at the best view table where we could see the sea and sunset. We enjoyed the grilled meat together, and when it was time for the sunset, a staff member suggested that we freely go outside and take pictures since both windows could be slid open. I had planned to signal the staff to bring out the cake when I went to the restroom, so I told my mother I was going to the restroom and left my seat. After I came back from the restroom, I communicated with the staff to request the cake. Soon after, the cake appeared, and my mother was deeply moved. They also took several photos for us. However, the grilled meat was so delicious that I was too full to eat the cake at that moment, so I asked if they could bring the cake to our room later, and they kindly agreed. They asked what time would be good, and I mentioned that any time after 9 PM would be fine. Since we had about two hours before our cake delivery, I decided to go with my mother to the stone sauna available for free at the large bath. I called the front desk to ask if there were yukata available for the stone sauna, and they replied that the room clothing provided in our room could be used as yukata. There were two sets of room clothing, so I took my pajama wear and went in casual clothes, while my mother changed into the room clothing to head to the large bath. On the way, we stopped by the front desk where my mother picked up one more set of room clothing for her to wear home. The
