If you plan to have nightlife in Cenang this location is quite far because its nearer to the Jetty and not the beach. If you plan to travel around Kuah this is a good location. However the breakfast is not much choice and doesn't taste that good.

A comfortable affordable stay!”
Location wise it’s a good hotel… near jetty and duty free shopping spots! A bit outdated but what to expect for such a place and am aware of the struggle after pandemic. I will definitely go back to this hotel. After all there’s always room for improvement and to upgrade their facilities… such as more pressure for showers since we were on the 6th floor the showers are a bit slow! Otherwise all is good! Breakfast is eatable & compliments to the F&B team….. like I said earlier there’s always room for improvement and to upgrade your service to the next level since tourism in Langkawi is crucial to the economy. I am MORE disappointed with Tourism Malaysia that did NOT highlighted and seriously announced for public awareness that a few tourists attractions were closed down such as the Langkawi Cable Car and Galeri Perdana.

Cozy place to stay in the heart of Langkawi”
Good old school cozy hotel with the pool and good facilities and restaurant. It is located next to Langkawi Parade, got a few cafeteria around. Nice place.

Room in good condition even it's old school hotel. Now days, the new hotel come with small room and try hard to impress travellers with the interior. It's make the room become smaller. This is 4 star hotel facilities. Team member know my preference and acknowledge me and my wife.

Grand Conti Langkawi - Excellent Choice!”
I was searching for a convenient hotel to not only be able to go to the beach but also to be near shopping centres in Langkawi, and the Grand Continental was spot on for me! Of course, I had the luxury of a rental car at my disposal, but the awesome price point of the Grand Conti PLUS its location, excellent staff members & also the large room made my stay in Langkawi a truly memorable one!

I choose Grand Continental because I like the size of the room. Compare to new building hotels that is to small. Staff recognized me. I always prefer a king bedroom, 4 pillows, ac, tv channels and quiet room (non connecting).
