We spent three fabulous nights at Baba Ecolodge. The location, while not easy to get to, is unbeatable in terms of privacy and access to beautiful, untouched nature. The simple, elegant, open design villas blend in with the natural surroundings. The food was exceptional, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Strongly recommended for those looking for a quiet, relaxing, off-the-beaten track holiday!

GBBR and the island it's on has escaped the development of most other islands. Tthey developed to have a diverse set of unique, beautiful houses spread across a huge foresty plot. While you should not expect fancy pools or AC (there is none of that), there is distinct luxury feel due to the care and high quality materials they have put in this place. Apart from the houses, the central clubhouse is a beautiful place to hang out and it serves up decent food and drinks. I would recommend this for everyone who is looking for a unique place away from the crowds, with all the necessary luxuries, but leaving the clutter out. Some points of improvement: - All houses are very different, select yours with care - English of local staff can be improved (but margharita or mai tai, who cares) - Food quality not always consistent, some very good but also a disappointment from time to time - Price ... is on the higher end, understandably, but specifically food/drinks. Happy hour can be happier.

Hard to get to, which keeps it quiet. Wonderful swimming, okay food (but limited options for non-meat eaters), great little individual houses, deafening (in a good way) sounds of the sea.

A Secret Spot of Paradise”
I don't think I should be writing this review because I don't want to ruin how special and secret this place feels by attracting more people to it. However I think people should know about it as it was one of the most special places Ive ever visited and stayed. Far away from the busy tourist trap towns that seem to now dominate Thailand this was the highlight of our 3 week trip to this beautiful country. Don't expect night markets rammed with tourists all eating westernised versions of Thai food because this is the real deal and a much more quite and relaxed way of life. If you want to know more you have to go there and find our yourself!

Wunderbares Resort mit unheimlich freundlichem Personal. Das Yoga shala, das Frühstücks buffet, der Empfang- super! Ich hätte gerne auch die vorhandene Küche genutzt- es gibt aber keine Möglichkeit einzukaufen oder die Küche zum kochen zu nutzen. Es ist alles relativ teuer- aber sehr liebevoll und eco-friendly. Dafür zahlt man die europäischen Preise gerne- der Strand ist unfassbar schön - sowohl für kleine Kinder als auch erwachsene.

พนักงานบริการดีมากค่ะ ที่พักสวย ผจก.เลือกบ้านพักให้เข้ากับกลุ่มเรา มีกิจกรรมเยอะมาก แต่จะมีค่าใช้จ่ายข้ามเกาะเพื่อนั่งเรือไป-กลับ ที่พัก และรถเช่าเพื่อไปทุ่งสะวันน่า ควรจองทริปต่างๆล่วงหน้ากับที่พัก โดยรวมประทับใจค่ะ
