Nice buffet breakfast included in the room price, the most centrally located hotel in Amnat Charoen. 7 11 nearby, friendly reception and restaurant staff. Room large and comfortable, hotel standard cotton bed linen. Bathroom adequate, hot water shower. I would stay here again.

Looks good but....”
The Faked looks like a very nice place but it has issues. The rooms, bathrooms and hallways are very dark. Only rooms on second floor and above. The issue with this is there is no lift and the stairs are steep with a tall rise. It is an ok place to stay but aware of some of the issues expecially if traveling with older family members with sight and mobility issues.

Faikid is the best hotel in Amnat Charoen. The room was remarkably clean, big and affordable. The only downside was the breakfast, the selection was little and it tasted below average...

Value for money ”
A short walk from the center of Amnat this hotel offers a mostly Thai breakfast with the affordable room rate. Cleaning staff do a great job maintaining the rooms. English is limited but the effort is there to help you out. They have a restaurant on site (evenings) that offers good quality food at reasonable prices. This is my hotel of choice in Amnat

If it so happens and you suddenly stay in Amnat - this hotel is a good choice. Dont expect a lot - no fridge even in a room, but clean and spacious... thai style breakfast... restaurant with live music (good food)

Nice hotel, good service from reception”
Stayed at Faikid for 5 nights during New Year holiday. Hotel looks nice from outside and the staff in reception very nice. Had to change our room (4th. floor) after the first night, due to an annoying sound coming from the floor above. Room very spacious, but no outlets at the bedside. In the two rooms we stayed in, the aircon was much to noisy. The waterhose in the bathroom was leaking, which meant that there was no waterpressure at all - told the reception, but it was not fixed during our stay! Breakfast included was a joke! No real coffee, no milk, no juice, no cereals, no yoghurt - mostly thai dishes and toast - the hotel could easily get a higher score by adjusting the breakfast. NB. Be aware that the hotel has no lift!! + ask for a room facing the backside - if it's windy you'll have noise from the wind while trying to sleep!

A good hotel that is excellent value for money. The breakfast was sufficient and the staff pleasant. It was very quiet despite the fact that there is a Karoke restaurant. The restaurant had a good choice. I used the laundry service wich was cheap and a good service. The hot shower could have a bit more power but that was a minor point. The room had air con.ThViệt Cộngere is not much aroind, so transport is necessary, although there is a petrol station with a 7eleven, coffee shop and massage parlour. Excellent value for money and I would defiantly stay there again.

Staff is not lazy”
Very pleasant. I take issue with the reviewer who complained about not being served breakfast at 9:00 a.m. The breakfast coupon is clearly marked 6:30 - 9:00. By the time the reviewer went to the dining room, all other guests would have eaten; the staff would have been taking a well-deserved break after working to prepare and serve the food. No reason to insult them.

Pleasant and good service”
The hotel staff were very helpful and the service was very good. The delux room was basic but comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was all thai which gave no option if you are European so if your ok with rice and spicy curry in the morning not a problem otherwise it's just english tea and toast. Hotel restaurant was karaoke every night which is ok if that's your thing but off putting if you fancy a quiet meal. If you are in town on business or visiting family its recommended.

Comfortable ”
Have stayed many times. This is a good value hotel for the area. Probably the best around this area. If your looking for no frills, clean and tidy, and pleaseant staff then this hotel is fine. Breakfast is the usual Thai food. I never have the breakfast usually eat outside were there is more choice although you have to rember you not in a big city. All in all a reasonable place to stay to rest.

Best lodgings in Amnat Charoen imo”
Overall as good as it gets in this provincial town. Sound travels a bit through the property so not ideal if u want to sleep in late, otherwise nothing to fault. Staff are fantastic and will go out of their way to assist. A couple of things to note: Superior room is the same size and fitout as standard but has 2 single beds instead of a double, so I recommend booking standard. Basic room is also exactly the same but minus a fridge, if you don't need one save 50 baht and go basic :-)

Limited Hotel choice. in the area, but Faikid does the job”
My expectations were not high but they were met. The hotel is basic but importantly the room was clean, aircon worked, good bed and ok bathroom. I have no complaints at all.

A bit of a lack of power in the 4th floor shower. 3rd floor better but for the price no real problem . A few less pigeons and pigeon excrement outside the window would be a bonus.
