Rest and relaxation”
The name says it all, come here to escape life. Situated on the “quiet” side of the island, along a beautiful mangrove river, and 100m from the beach, this place could not be better situated. Relax all day in the hotels chair-hammocks watching the fish in the mangrove as the tide ebbs and flows or walk down to an almost private beach - only two other hotels are situated here, either end of a 700m beach. There is also a lovely beach front cafe/restaurant called “V. ocean cafe” that will have you coming back day after day. The room is clean and spacious, with a beautiful private view onto the mangrove - you will have small long tail boats puttering past a few times a day, but that only adds to the ambiance. The hotel can help organize a scooter if you wish, as well as speedboats to any of the surrounding islands. Lastly, the staff - possibly the jewel on the crown, they are the most friendly and down to earth people you will ever meet, making us feel welcomed and at home.

The place is nice and comfortable, really close to one of the best beaches on the island. They let you use their kajac for free and you can watch the sunset in the sea, it was amazing. The guy from the front desk was very helpful and kind all the time , also all the people from the restaurant and the food it's very good.Thank you!!

An amazing stay”
We really enjoyed our stay with Escape Life in Ko Kut. Our host Pum was lovely and really helpful. The breakfast which included a Thai meal and several side dishes such as juice, toast, cookies and fresh fruit was a perfect start of our day. The hotel is a two-minute walk away from the beach, which you can also reach by using the free kayak through the mangrove. Other beaches and sight seeing points can be reached by taking the motorbike, which you can rent for 300 baht/ day. 10/10 would recommend!

This is valued hotel in Koh Kood I've ever experienced. Cheap, nice staff, New accomodation. Nice mangrove view and very near to the beach. the bad point is it quite far from city and hard to find a restaurant. If you need private, quiet and far from people. This is the best one.

We had such a nice stay at Escape Life. The room was so nice and directly at the river. The beach is 5 min away by walking and is very clean and beautiful. If you’re looking for a place to chill and relax , you will definitely love this hotel.

I like the location and the dinning area of this hotel. It is so relaxing sitting by the small river overlooking the mangrove. The hotel located just 2 minutes walking distance from Ao Proa beach. This area is far from everything and that's why I love it. Just a few small resort in the area. No hotels blocking the access to the beach. However, the management of the hotel is still lacking in many ways... may be because it is still very new. When I checked in, the light was broken, the restroom and toilet seat were all wet. Not so professional when it comes to cleaning.. But overall, I still love the atmosphere of this hotel.

Very poor breakfast and it's located far away from the centre of Island so you need a motorbike if you want to eat something in different restaurant than the one in escape life. Also, walls and floor are crooked so your head is going crazy when you enter for the first time. However, beautiful beach is really close and staff is really helpful.

Beautiful place, except a bit far”
It's a great brand-new place if you don't mind driving 20 minutes to get to the center of the island, it's among the farthest hotels there. They offer a nice motorbike for 300/400 baht per day. Laundry also available (not sure if it was a one-off). Tasty breakfast, albeit limited to 3 choices (or off a menu). The bad part was that the reception was empty already at 8pm, but from what I understand that's because they just opened and haven't found enough personnel *yet*

Not bad but you should find a better place ”
The guy looks like owner didn’t have service mind I told him my room had ants on my bed he grabbed a broom but it was on my bed so I reminded him “its on my bed” he said “what do you want me to do” sooooooo I would not recommend this place the water wasn’t clean the room we stayed it had ants everywhere also it was too small but the place and staff were nice

Peaceful hotel for real relaxation in Koh Kood”
The holel is located in the southernmost of the island, 45 minutes from the main pier by car/motorbike. It is only 50 meters walk to the beach. The hotel has only 6 rooms, very privacy. The location is near to mangroove canal. It has free kayak and paddle board for all guest for floating from the canal near to hotel to the beach. The staffs were nice, freindly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious even it had only limited choice. The room was well cleaned and well-equipped with escential things. It was very worth to stay there and we hoped to comeback there again.
