My stay at the V Hotel in Ubon Ratchathani was fine it was only mared by extremely heavy rain, And localised flooding so the night market was cancelled. Luckily the rain stayed off for the famous candle festival. If not using your own transport the staff will order a taxi for you which are embarrassingly cheap.

Location is good, nice hotel that is small (23 rooms) so not overly crowded. Staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast very good. Great value. Taxis are very reasonable in Ubon Ratchathani.

Just 10 minutes away from airport. Central Plaza and other places are within range by taxi and you won't beleive the fare when the meter stops. Great location near the airport and next to Tesco. Ample car parking - can even leave the car there for a few days if you get talking to the friendly owner, tea & coffee, hotwater available. Be sure to ask for a room away from the ground floor and reception if you desire some peace & quiet.
