Greatest motel in Langkawi ”
Close to the beach, super clean and confortable with swimming pool and and amazing little garden plus some traditional Malawi structures, perfect place to rest and enjoy the holidays. It's really quiet for a place in the city center and the best is the host, Yussuf has amazing tips to share for you to go for breakfast, lunch and diner and the best beaches to spend your time during the day, thanks for everything!

I lived in this hotel for about 3 weeks. I liked everything. The rooms are very large. There is a swimming pool. A beautiful garden. Near restaurants. Shop. The hotel is located near the road. But the rooms are very quiet and you can not hear the noise of cars at all.

The room was clean. The location was so good with cheap local restaurant just across the road. I don't know if I got scammed a bit but maybe not I guess. The room was spacious and nice. One thing is the receptionist was not always there when I need them.

tqvm for the positive remarks.. it’s only two of us who runed the whole show of Desa Motel . But we put our hp number there on the door and we will response to any call immediately. This is the way of cost cutting because it is not economic to put someone there to run the only 12 rooms of Desa Motel. Thankyou for staying in Desa Motel .

Both me and my wife had a business trip to Langkawi and decided to stay at Desa Motel. The price was reasonable. Ample and well secured car park. The hotel was operated by Pak Usop and both him and his wife was attentive enough to personally inspect my room with bits of welcoming goodies. Desa Motel is located roughly 10minutes drive from the airport. Desa Motel did not provide F&B. The closest F&B outlet is just 5 steps away from Desa Motel serving range of food from the all time favourite packet nasi lemak to all sort of chi and delicacies. There are also a range of F&B outlet across the road serving all kind of variety from local taste to western. Pantai Cenang and Pantai tengah is easily accessible. A walk to the Underwater World and variety of other duty-free shops is less than 10 minutes. Will return. I know they have plan to go big and i hope they will stay attentive still.

A stay with Desa Motel”
I read through a lot of reviews before i choose this motel and the conclusion is that i get what i paid. Yes, it's a budget hotel where you pay for RM360 for 4 nights including one public holiday. I love the price as compared to those motel/hotel that near Cenang Beach. It's a quiet place where i can avoid noise from the crowd easily. I like the way they prepare a small fridge for us to store our drinks and chocolate during our stay; both of us enjoyed it very well. I must say that it's quite a big room with a small table and chairs inside and outside the room. I enjoyed a lot sitting on the chairs, read my ipad and study the tourist guide. The room is cleaned before we move in! The things that i found with a lot of improvements includes the pillow which is hard and almost caused me for a stiff neck for my stay over there. I might want to bring my own pillow for the next round. Another thing worth mentioning is that the blanket is very thin and is like a bedsheet. Secondly, the tv do not have all the local channels. We can only enjoy tv1, tv2 and tv3. I would suggest Desa Motel to includes all local channels for better enjoyment. The last thing is about the cleanliness of the toilet where i found the cleaner might missed to un-clogged the floor water hole that easily flood. As a conclusion, i will consider to stay with Desa Motel in my next visit as long as the room is cleaned and cozy.
