I loved the look of this hotel from the start but there had been a couple of negative comments on Tripadviser! So glad I ignored them as stunning hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived at 11.00am and they kindly checked us in early! The spa was spectacular, perfect relaxation after a day walking (def worth the €12) we are English and I had read about th...
At first we were a little hesitant about the hotel as the hallways looked dark and dated and could use a coat of fresh paint. However, the room was very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was good. While it was not right in the middle of the crowds, it was only 10-15 minute walk away from all major attractions (Marienplatz, cathedrals, open air market) AN...
Dear Sir/Madam I have recently stayed at the Novum Hotel in Munich Am Hauptbahnhof from 8 July 2017 - 18 July 2017. I stayed there with my girlfriend in one of the comfort double rooms. I am pleased to say that we enjoyed our time there so much. The hotel room was absolutely beautiful and the view was stunning. The central location allowed us so much freedom and the st...
Firstly, let me start with a small disappointment. The curtain in my room (#305) was defect and had shoe marks all over. That kind of marred a perfect score if I were to rate this hotel. The other was the inconsistency in the toilettries where some days they were replenished and anothe day-not. Now back to the positives- 1) the room was neat and new with a wonderful...
We booked this hotel last minute when we accidentally reached Munich Station instead of Fussen (we missed to alight at the correct station). The hotel is practically 3-min walk from Munchen (Munich) Central Station and you could not ask for more. Although we felt our lives where in danger as soon as we came out of the train station coz most of the people outside (well ...
Overall I was pleased with this hotel. It is in a good, central location, across from Wittenbergplatz U-bahn, and had adequate facilities for a 3-star hotel, including a bar, free wi-fi and clean, spacious rooms. Maybe the décor of the rooms could be updated but I was happy for the price I paid for 2 nights. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. There was just on...
I stayed 3 months in Europe from Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Czech Rep. and Switzerland. I have been experienced more then 40 different hotels during 3 months and only 2 hotels (one in Paris and the other one is this hotel) gave me unforgettable service and experiences. Some staffs were caught by me not returning whole cash deposit back and some ...
My stay was enjoyable, close to everything however rooms are a bit small as is the bathroom. No safe in the room, though you don't need it as Germany felt so safe!
The only con of the hotel is the slightly far-out location in West Germany near the zoo. But it's 5-mins from 2 metro stations, and in Berlin you can get anywhere on the metro! So that's not too big a problem. Everything else is wonderful from the very friendly staff, free internet at lobby, wonderfully designed rooms w surround sound in the ceiling of the room!! Y...
Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The hotel room was superbly size, we love the high ceilings and the colour combination. The amenities in the room was good and everything was modern and clean. The shoe cleaning machine was a nice touch. Location wise it was just a 5 to 10 minutes walk from either 2 of the nearest metro station which can bring you to central berli...
The largest hotel in Germany and it's a place for organizing conferences. It's not for tourist as it's located far from the city center but it's a very good choice if there are conference at this hotel or some events happening in the east side of Berlin.
We visited here during Oktoberfest specifically because of its proximity to the event. The area directly surrounding the hotel is 4/5 stars and I only say that because it seemed to have a few business that seemed less than ideal. However, the hotel was fantastic and while the room was small it was very clean and updated. We stayed on the top floor and I would recomm...
i stayed at angleterre for the full 12 nights while in berlin. i was given exactly what i was expecting, clean room (smoking) which allowed me a check in time at 3pm which was okay. decent windows in the room for good ventilation. the television has all the free/cable channels when i felt bored. housekeeping is efficient and supplies replenished every day. the only ...
Loved my stay there. Everything was great, cleanness, location....There is no a con side really...,just to mention that I missed most the coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Lately many hotels are having them, and I have become accustomed to the convenience....The management should consider them....I would mention a couple of other things that I was surprised, no...
I stayed at this Hotel for One night. The value of my experience for the money I spent for a single room was excellent. The room was really tiny but it was fine for a shower and a sleep, which was the initial purpose of booking it anyways, so I didn't bother. The room itself was really clean (especially the bathroom was amazing) and comfortable. As a solo traveler, fir...
Wonderful would totally recommend this accommodation. The only negatives were the door Frames are low and my tall son hit his head. The shower is very narrow and the shower head is on an odd angle. That being said the water is hot and you can make do. We found the rest of the apartment fabulous value for money with great facilities. We cooked a couple of meals ther...
the service with a smile, condusive and i am very like the toilet of hotel. for my experience to germany, i think this hotel have a great location. the location very close with frankfurt station and nearest the shops especially kebab shop. but one more thing, i would like to suggest why not the hotel put the arrow of the kiblat (for muslim pray). if they do it, the ho...
The hotel has everything beyond a standard 4 star hotels in Germany: friendly front desk staff, helpful concierge, lovely and stylish room with air-conditioning, free wifi (all day) , safe, tea & coffee facility, hair dryer....and more. We stayed at many 4* hotels in germany and other countries, this was definately one of the best we have stayed so far. Ver g...
The location was excellent with easy access from the airport and then to travel in Berlin. Staff were friendly and informed. Best breakfast that takes you through lunch as well. There are a lot of rooms in the hotel so it was a long walk from the lift but not a problem. Will be back when in Berlin next time.
To wake up, I really love to make a cup of coffee before going to the breakfast buffet. In this hotel you have a Nespresso machine in the room. Perfect, fresh coffee every time! And, of course, new capsules every day. Connected to the rather big TV, an excellent sound system that even has a sub woofer. A perfect beginning of the day! We didn't need it as we just opene...
This was easily one of the best apartment hotels I had the pleasure of staying in while traveling through Germany. Its location near the mall made it easy to go shopping, though it was a little further away from public transportation to access the rest of the city. The staff was quite helpful, though there were a few times when a request was forgotten or arrived much l...
Friendly and helpful staff. Obliged us with early check in and assisted us with printing of tour documents. Nice and clean hotel in a good location, with nice breakfast. Highly recommended. But would not book through Agoda again as the currency exchange rate is highly unreasonable, especially compared to the initial publicized indicative rate
When I booked this hotel a few months before my 3 night stay in December 2016, I found the best deal to be on Agoda. The reviews on TA looked to be fairly good so I was expecting a stress-free stay and that's what I got. I had booked a Exclusive Double Room and had requested a room on a high floor as the hotel is near a busy road - this request was honoured and the ro...
I had an excellent experience with the hotel and it is very much dependent on which front desk officer receives you at the point of check-in and check-out. We had a very nice lady at check-in which took efforts to help us locate a room of our preference - twin bed instead of double. At check-out, it was a disaster, the trainee at the reception did not bother to ask f...
Stayed for 1 night, paid just EUR40 for a relatively last-minute booking. Location to the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof was a priority so didn't have any other high level of expectations (given also the price); and for the price I paid, this is as best as it can get in central Frankfurt :) 3-min walk from the train station. Room was clean, not too cramped .. staff were effici...
The style of the hotel is great and cool, quite like the small balcony with the table and chair.Welcoming drink on the table which is quite thoughtful.3mins walk to the subway station, quite convenient.Reception service is also good.they helped us to fill in the hot water.but no kettle in the room, maybe most of the hotels in Germany don't equip with kettles. If they do,th...
Traveling from the United States to Germany for the first time after 38 years of marriage, we were excited but apprenhensive. We looked on line for many hotels, but continually came back to Hotel Erzgriesserei. We couldn't have been happier with this decision. We did not want a hotel that was by the main train station, we didn't want a hotel by Tourist Attractions. Bu...
We were a group of 6 ladies visiting the Berlin to enjoy the Christmas Markets. Booked this hotel based primarily on location and price. We weren't too bothered about the quality of the hotel as it was just a place to sleep. However, we found The Weinmeister to be extremely comfortable and it has a slightly quirky feel to it, with designer beds and oversized wing back ...
I enjoyed my recent stay at the King's Hotel. The hotel is very clean and convenient to the train station and the bus tour staging areas. Many places to eat are nearby. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was good, but for 18 Euros it should have had potatoes (hey, we're in Germany, we have to have potatoes with breakfast). The staff were friend...
friend of mine sugesting the hotel for me to stay, when i was arrived to the hotel, well i am a litte bit surprised, from the outside it looked like an old architectures with historical time line, but when i entered the place... wow it was beyond of my imagine, so modern. it was so nice to be there, because it felt like lived between two different moment, past and c...
Cheap places to stay in Germany
Overall very good with only a small complaint with the common area: The atmosphere feels more like a hotel. Nobody socializes in the common area. They always play annoying music so its impossible to concentrate on reading a book or laptop. The lighting is very dull also so it makes concentrating on reading something very hard. But the most annoying thing about the ...
This is an awesome hostel. Location in centre of town easy to get everywhere, fairly new, super friendly n helpful staff, run as a proper hostel with great kitchen and eating area, cheap breakfast and a deposit (refundable) for bedding towels etc. Highly recommend and the best I have stayed in in Germany.
i decided to book at this hotel because it was reduced price and had a good review. i really enjoyed it: nice and big room, simple, a mix of hostel and hotel which is nice for atmosphere, a restaurant open late, cheap and good breakfast + swimming pool and sauna for free. and a nice location, in my opinion. i would recommend it to young people and avid travelers, ...
I found the location very convenient, as it was just across the street from an S-Bahn station, and just a few hundred meters from a grocery store, shopping mall, and many restaurants! The facilities were very clean, the bedding was nice, and the absolute best part was the staff! Gianni and Rafael were wonderfully hospitable and welcoming--an entirely different experien...
I arrived super late and the night receptionist was friendly and efficient. The bathroom was surprisingly clean, and the showers better than at Generator. The room was respectable with a view over the boulevard and the linen was clean. Best of all for me was the free access computers, which were fast (as was the WiFi) and really helped me out a lot. Checkout is also...
Very good price for the double bed plus the extra bunk bed. Only 5 min walk to the Central Station which is so helpful to travel all around Germany and other European countries , 15 min walk to city center. The hotel has a common kitchen for guests to cook their own food.
The AandO Dresden Hauptbahnhof Hotel/Hostel in Dresden is a happy and efficiently run and well-organized business. It is located in a completely and successfully re-cycled office block. Everything is very functional and security has been given a high priority. Rooms are small, but well-appointed. The place is great value for money, particularly since it is located ...
With a friend of mine. And that night was great because the whole room only us two persons. Very clean and convenient ! Highly recommend ! I
For the price this is really a decent hostel. I stayed in an 8-bed mixed dorm which was a good size, the bed had already been made up with clean sheets for no extra charge (not normal in Germany) and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. There was free wifi access in the lobby, which has plenty of comfortable chairs. There are lots of extra facilities (laundry room, bar e...
I have stayed there for 03 days with my family. This is the best cheap hotel in frankfurt. They gave us family room in newly furnished building. The room was so clean and all the facilities mentioned was provided us. The reception staff was very helpful. I highly recommended this hotel for families with budgeted plan.
Me and my wife, together with 8, 16 year old girls stay here and from communication at booking and worries around would the girls be ok in their own rooms (not shared) everything was perfect. The other guests were great the staff were very helpful. The beer was cheap, the facilities were basic BUT it is a hostel not a 5 star hotel. 100% return here, strongly. Also U/S ...
This place is massive! There’s lots of facilities, outdoor area, big lounge area, lockers, washing machine, dinging area, kitchen. They let us check out late for a small price but was worth it. They also accommodated is in the same room when we booked another night. Two great clubs down the road. In a good neighbourhood, just rent a bike and bike around. Transit system...
The best thing about this hostel is the location: well connected with the transport, few minutes walk from the Museum Island and not very far away from the Brandenburg Tor. I had a 5 beds room with ensuite shower and toilet in two separate rooms, which was very convenient. Everything was clean and the ambient was really quiet.
The location is quite good, being right outside the train line and less than 15 minutes to most things that you'll want to see. It is also a 3 minute walk from a kiosk which you can purchase beer and cigarettes. This hostel was always clean and nice to stay in. Staff were friendly and happy to help. There is no kitchen or laundry facility in this hostel but you can pu...
This hostel is a minute away from S/U Bahn stations, and a bunch of supermarkets and Kebabhaus are nearby too. The staff was so nice. I made a casual request asking if I could get a bottom bunk, and to my surprise, there was a note in a bottom bunk saying this bed is reserved for me. This was a quite nice gesture and I super appreciate it. I think the staff member wa...
I loved the Amstel House! Super cozy hostel! When I have arrived (Wednesday 18/09 around 11 hs.) was working at reception a girl super kindly! Was a perfect welcome! The kitchen, common spaces, bar and living room is super nice! I did not like just the beds.. it was ok, but can be a bit more comfortable. Thanks guys! When I come back to Berlin, for sure I will go there...
The hotel is just a short Bahn ride from the long journey bus station, and another couple of stations to city center. The hotel has very good cleanliness but the only downside is there were no lockers for personal storage and has to be kept at the reception.
Quick and easy check in, staff were helpful and easy to communicate with. Clean and basic facilities - perfect for a night's stay on the way through Germany.
If you are reading my comment, seems that you have sorted the available hotels base on the price and come up with the cheapest options first. A&O hotel is what you want without any surprise. Worth for the money you pay, just next to Tram ( #16,17) stations with go directly to central station.
We booked a room with private bathroom but when we arrived, the receptionist said it's full and they booked us a room with a public bathroom. It was frustrating but good thing their toilet is clean and no one took a bath during the night and morning, only us! The room was big enough and clean. Location is very near to the cathedral and train station. This hote...
Wallyard is the best hostel i've experienced. I spent 6 nights in berlin; 3 in Generator (Mitte) and 3 nights in wallyard. Location was nice. City Central Station (Houptbahnhof) is 5 minutes away. At the end of the street there was nice little beer place. Two block away is big mart so you can buy from something to eat and other stuffs like small padlocks etc (low pric...
The price is so good, even though it has good facilities. And nice people there, also you can meet other interesting people at large lobby. I have stayed 3 hostels in Berlin, and I'm sure that this is the best. Everything was great time there.
I wasn’t quite sure if the town or this hostel in this area was the right spot but I was completely wrong. I was there for one full day and night and they made me feel like I have been there for months. They make you feel super welcome to their home, offer the best advice (which is to avoid the city center), everything is super clean, curtains on the beds! For young pe...
Stayed in hostel. Clean and comfotable bed, towels provides for. Common area with television amd vending machine. No kitchen. Less than 5 mins walk to subway station and supermarket. Many cafes and restaurants nearby. About 20-30 mins walk to attractions. In the middle of the the red light district (strip clubs, erotic toy shops etc) but did not feel unsafe. Accom is ...
Arrived around 1600 on Sunday, place was busy, but not overly so. Told where my room was (4th floor), and started my ascent. First night, only half the room was occupied, so it was readonably quiet. Second night, slightly more people were booked in, still same, no noise. Only issues would really have to be proximity to railway line, which is also a perk, as it's a 3...
Location, facilities and staff were great. Got a quiet night sleep beds were comfortable. there was no fan or ac (which is typical of hostels in Germany) but it was cool during the night (so we had the windows open), I can see how with more people in the room or when it gets warmer it can feel stuffy. Adequate breakfast (5euros) in the morning and happy hour in the ev...
İt's very closed to the Milchhof station, only 1 minute away. You can take the U12 from Central station in Stuttgart and the second station is Milchhof. If you get out at the first station (Budapester Platz) there is a big shopping mall (Mİlaneo). Breakfast is very good and really enough (7 euro). Staff is very hepful and general the Hotel was better than a 5 star hote...
Over all it was one of the best away from home stays ive ever had
First appearances are deceiving. It looks ramshackle untidy messy. But hostel has character and it grows on you. Other guests extremely friendly helpful. Seems like a big family. I loved my stay here and would use them again. My only complaint is distance from old city. But tram service is good. The staff is the best I have encountered in ten weeks of staying at hostel...

Loved the location, close to museum island and hackeserhod. Walkable to Unter den Linden and Frierichatrasse. So easy to get to on TXL Bus. We were in an appartment with two bedrooms (610 and 609, I think). Not a great view over the car park but we weren't really bothered about that. Small balcony. Well equipped apart from no scissors. We used washing machine. It's 9...
Good location and a nice quiet area. 5mins walk from the metro or 20mins walk from the cathedral. The room has sufficient USB plug. The best thing is hotel comfortable bedding.
Value for money, that´s for sure. Location is excellent, quite near to Checkpoint Charlie, name of the hotel reveals that of course. U-bahn station Kochstrasse is nearby and lots of sights are in walking distance, like Gendarmenmarkt, Topography of terror and so on. Staff was little bit lazy, had to wait just till 3PM when checking in even the hotel was no way fully b...
Eurostars hotel became my favorite hotel in Germany. Eurostars Grand Central is better than Eurostar Book when you consider the breakfast as your 1st option.
This was a last second booking as I chose to leave Munich a day early and head to Berlin. My other hotel wouldn't be available until the next day and I didn't want to pay top dollar for a quick 16 hour stay. I found this on my phone and decided to chance it as the price was quite affordable. When I first arrived in the hotel I was shocked by how nice the lobby was. Thi...
The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from platform 28-30 of Munich HBF. You could take S1 from Munich HBF to the airport, which is a 40 minutes ride. Being next to Munich HBF allows guests easy access to anywhere in Munich, Germany or even train services to other European countries. Room size is huge with good buffet breakfast. WIFI connection is also strong in the room....
fairly priced, clean and convenient for an overnight transit travelers, protective from the seedy environment which is given around main train stations in Germany. 2 minutes walk from the main train station. Car rental drop point near the train station, trains buses taxi access from/to anywhere. Endless choice of Shawarma (Turkish roll/sandwich) in the nearing street w...
Really first class location. From airport to hotel could not be simpler with S Bahn and one stop change to U station which then stopped at hotel front door. 5 minutes walk to pedestrian shopping area. Although definitely a business hotel because of its location, did not feel out of place as a holiday couple. Everything needed for breakfast was there. Evening meal...
We traveled all over Germany for 2 weeks and stayed in 6 different hotels and the Flemings Hotel was by far our favorite. The hotel staff always went above and beyond. The rooms were very nice. Loved the breakfast. The gal at the front desk thought it was going to rain when we were headed out, so she checked her phone and was going to give us an umbrella if we ...
The hotel was overall a good choice, and pretty good value for the money (I'd heard Dusseldorf is one of the most expensive parts of Germany). I didn't use the spa/health center but I suspect this would have made it an even better value as there is a pool and sauna. The room wasn't too small either, there were two beds right next to each other, plenty of space to walk...
I was on a business trip to Germany, chose this hotel, and was not let down. The best thing was the location. You can walk in and out of Munich Center from this hotel very easily. The breakfast was (very typical German) huge, with hundreds of choices to choose from. The hotel was clean, new, nice glass elevators, room design is nice. Only complaint was that there are n...
Everything was great from location to cleanliness (I'm very picky with cleanliness aswell) to comfortable bed. Kettle and iron aren't in the room but as soon as we called reception they were brought up. The single thing I would say is negative is that the bath tub is open onto the room which gives you no privacy (my child would run around and felt uncomfortable) - and...
Most friendly and helpful hotel and staffs we have ever met at Germany. Good location. Great breakfast. Wonderful stay.
no complaint. it's quite standard hotel for short stay. parking is not cheap but I guess it's common in Europe.
Its was amazing when I entered the hotel....its was so beautiful with classic decoration, the room is big, clean, elegant. And I love the breakfast very much, the service is good. If you have a car, you can have free parking infront of the hotel. I will re-book the hotel if I have a chance to Munich again.
The hotel is located across the street of a suburban train station (S) which gives you the perfect access to go everywhere in Berlin. Access to the high speed railway network in Germany is only one stop ( 1 min) away form the hotel ( Berlin Spandau) The fairground is only a few train (S) minutes away with trains departing every 10 min. The hotel itself is located in...
Location: 5 mins walking from Munich main train station front door Food: Various restaurants and Fast chain food stores closed by. Room Comfort: Best as a 4-Star Hotel. Mini-bar free refill everyday during the time we stayed. Even the standard is very roomy. Room is very clean and the Housekeeping staff is very nice and responsible. Staff performace: Staff is frie...
Came unknowing that this would be the perfect place! Perfect rooms, perfect location, perfect security amidst all embassies. A small little Gym with sauna an a small pool and a huge Tiergarten to run outside weather permitting. Love the beds and the sheets, the decor, really a gem and now i am paying a similar price in Oslo for shared bathroom! Should have stayed more ...
Staff does not, apparently, read any special requests made at booking, even if the request is in German! I have stayed here on three occasions, always requesting a room on the "parking lot side" of the hotel. on ALL THREE TIMES my initial room assignment was on the other side of the hotel! This most recent time, I made the request in German and was STILL (initially.....
everything as it should be! coffee can improve, but more or less first time in Germany so it could be the average.
good modern hotel in a new district of munich – 3 subway stations away frm marienplatz. free parking lot. rooms r supplied with lcd, phone, additional couch – modern cozy furniture. some rooms have a balcony. you’ll find fridge, hair-dryer, shower gel, soap, shower cap, sowing kit, shoe sponge etc. pretty various breakfast buffet offering fresh orange juice, eg...
The hotel is newly modernised and the room was finished to a high standard. The small kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom had a fantastic shower. Location is very handy, next to a bus stop with direct links to the centre. The breakfast was fairly simple but excellent quality. Those were the good points. Unfortunately I found the bed uncomfortable, it sloped towa...

We booked to stay for 2 nights celebrating my birthday. A lovely cake was sent to a room as a complimentary from a hotel by lovely Brittany. She also served in a restaurant for dinner and breakfast....lovely and smiley person...Thank you ;-) We planned to have dinner at Le Ciel to celebrate my BD, were told that it is closed and waited for an hour to get a table in a r...
The place was beautiful. It was located in the historic area of Munich near the Glockenspiel as well as the shopping area. The staff servic was outstanding. We checked out very early in the morning. As there were no porters around, the front desk staff, Antonia, collected our 8 heavy suitcases from our rooms and brought them to our car. The only regret we had was tha...
Very comfortable, the best we stayed at in Germany. Would definitely return. Only fault was that the shower was in the bath, like almost all hotels we stayed in.
The hotel has all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel. It's expensive and they don't offer free breakfast (unlike the cheaper hotels we booked from the other cities we toured) so it's disappointing. The hotel is good, centrally located, just across the main train station but…with its price tag…i am not going to stay at this hotel just in case i went b...
The location was the reason why I chose this hotel. You can walk from the airport and this is perfect if you arrive late or have an early flight to catch. The rooms are a bit old fashioned, but very clean and well maintained. I did not book the deluxe room, those were newly renovated. Would definitely recommend the hotel if you want a hotel directly at the aiport
I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The best thing is its location - just few steps from the underground and tram. So close to many attractions in Berlin and also have lots of cafe nearby. I really like to room as well. Very clean and have everything you need such as kitchen and kitchenware is also provided. This should be a great choice for those who travel in gro...
I only stayed in the hotel one night, and found the Hotel clean, comfortable and excellent location. There were several stairs between the lift and the level the rooms are on, which I found awkward with my suitcase. I understand I could have called for a Porter, but I don't always feel I want to, and in this case I suppose I should have not realizing the unusual lo...
My best friend in Berlin never forgets to remind me that Berlin was part of GDR. It’s still developing and will catch up with the German courtesies. But Ritz Carlton in Berlin does not let you feel that. A very well appointed lounge. A great caring team and fine quality of rooms at probably the best address in town. Nothing beats Ritz in Berlin!
Hotel was clean tidy staff were very helpful... The Luxury room was lovely and bed comfortable... But the Breakfast out of this world best I've ever had since I've been travelling can get busy at times but the food is great, no so good if your on a diet and service great ...Close to shops and U/S station
I booked this hotel for its name. However, I was disappointed with its environment. The hotel is overly crowded and checking in and checking out services were slow with long queues. Everything else is super normal like an usual a 3-star hotel.
Before making a decision about booking this hotel, my premonitions were mixed up. Unfortunately, this hotel has a lot of very bad opinions, but in spite of this I was persuaded by friends who spent many nights in this hotel. Pros of the hotel: Location: The hotel is located in the best possible place of Berlin - Kurfuerstendamm - it is a street full of exclusive bou...
The hotel has the best location in Dresden!!! The Front Desk staff were not as friendly and were eager to make sure the Concierge was the one giving you the touristy information because it was not their job. The room was great, but it had a lot of big furniture for a small space. We were there for one day, so the location was the thing that could not be beat!!!!!
It was a dream!! The fantastic building!! Westin is Westin everywhere and always! Great, new, modern hotel with wonderful view!!
This hotel is simply outstanding. From the moment you walk in seeing the grand lobby, marble staircases, impeccably dressed and friendly staff you know you're somewhere special. Upon checking in you're welcomed warmly, then take the very neat elevators up to your room where you're met with beautiful hallways. The hotel is large but feels small, with courtyards placed t...
This hotel is in a great location with lots of restaurants, cafes, bakeries and shops just outside its doors. The "hop on hop off" city tour buses all stop just a block away. There is also an underground train station in front of the hotel. From here we were able to walk to the Brandenberg gate in about 15 minutes and have a great day on foot seeing all the museams ...
Stayed for business. Expensive breakfast.
I've stayed at several Hiltons around the world and this one stacks up as one of the best. Great facilities and hotel is in a great location. One minor gripe , still no free wifi in guest rooms!
My stay at the Steigenberger was part business and part holiday. The location is really good. In the middle of town, within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and such. 24 euros for breakfast is to much. Generally I could say that this is a one of the 5 best hotels in HH.
comparing other 5 star hotels in the world this one can achieve 3 stars only in my point of view
This hotel is new (opened last year) therefore the standard of the rooms is excellent. The staff were lovely and friendly and the bellboy and concierge remembered my name every time they saw me! Only 6 floors with a state of the art elevator. I would recommend booking a room with breakfast if you want to eat breakfast. I had it only on one day as I was meeting frien...
We only stayed here for a night as Berlin was a stopover on the way home. What a beautiful Hotel! Everything was amazing, including the price. this was by far the best value Hotel we stayed at during our trip. We didn't bother with breakfast, better hotels like this tend to overcharge for these services. We opted for a short walk and a visit to a nearby cafe. A nice wa...
This was the best stay I ever had at a hotel. There where a bar in ground floor, and a resturant, that had great wine and food. The U-bahn where a 5 or 10 minute walk from the hotel, or you can take a taxi just outside the hotel.
Hotel was excellent and accessible with a train station nearby. Hotel was very aesthetic and looked beautiful. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Really appreciate the daily supply of water. However, bathroom was a little small. Also, would appreciate if the hotel could provide free wifi in rooms, especially since many other 5 star hotels do give free wifi.
We stayed at the Intercontinental in September 2013 for 1 night. The hotel is a true 5 star hotel with great service. When we arrived we were asked where we would like our room and the lady at the reception recommended us a room on the side of the school, as it was the weekend so it would be very quiet: it was! The standard room we had was lovely and spacious enough. ...
We were extremely pleased with our recent stay at the Intercontinental Frankfurt. The location is fantastic, very close to the HauptBahnhof (Central Train Station) and only about 10-15 minutes walking from the Innenstadt (city center). We had a room on the 12th floor, and the view of the city and the river Main is really unparalleled; that is definitely one of the ma...
When we planned our trip to Cologne, we knew we would want to stay near the station and the town center. Cologne Marriott Hotel definitely provides the best location. The service was OK, comparing to other hotels in Germany, this is one of the OK ones, the rests are worse. The staffs are not as friendly as we have expected for a 5 star hotel though, but acceptable.
