Ubon Ratchathani hotels & accommodations
This is a lovely hotel but too far to walk from anywhere. I arrived at the airport to be met by the free shuttle service. This was a nice surprise as there is little English spoken in Ubon Ratchathani and I wasn't looking forward to negotiating a taxi. Check in was easy and I asked about getting into town and I was rightly told that it was too far to walk and I should ...
My stay at the V Hotel in Ubon Ratchathani was fine it was only mared by extremely heavy rain, And localised flooding so the night market was cancelled. Luckily the rain stayed off for the famous candle festival. If not using your own transport the staff will order a taxi for you which are embarrassingly cheap.
I really appreciated B2 and this place will always be No.1 hotel if I have to visit Ubon Ratchathani again. this is the second time and I sill happy with everything. The room is very new and clean and I really love the design and how they decorate the room, especially, when we compared on reasonable price and valuable for money to pay. The location is a bit out o...
Excellent resort, the best value for your buck in the area. Brother of the owner is cooking tasty food. Very soon guests will be able to rent canoes to enjoy Moon River. As in title resort is very well managed, I am hospitality professional and I was very impressed with level of the service in Blue Moon.
Location is good, nice hotel that is small (23 rooms) so not overly crowded. Staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast very good. Great value. Taxis are very reasonable in Ubon Ratchathani.
Really good hotel. The staff speak only a few words English, but veri kind and helpful. If you are in Ubon Ratchathani, this hotel is highly recommended. Situared in the center, dont need transportation to restaurants, massage or small shops. The aorport only 2-3 kms away. The hotel offer free transportation from an to the airport, should be booked in advance.
Just 10 minutes away from airport. Central Plaza and other places are within range by taxi and you won't beleive the fare when the meter stops. You'll always have the feeling you should, and i bet you will, give a few extra 10's baths to the driver. The building type is standard but very well kept and Thai creativity is there to charm your senses modestly. Beds are sup...
we spend a weekend in ubon ratchathani to visit family. as i work for a tourism company i chose the tohsang because i heard about it before and stayed at the sister hotel before. for us, the location was perfect as we could walk to the temple we had to go in the morning. nearby the hotel we found a bar called @seat with live music and cheap beers (all we need in the e...
I’ve stayed at a number of hotels in Ubon Ratchathani, let alone all the other hotels I’ve stayed in around the world on my business travels... in fact I never give reviews but this hotel deserves a special mention which I may regret later as it becomes too popular and goes up in price and rating.... I honestly wish I had discovered this jewel much earlier... staff ver...
Outstanding value at walk-in price and good at the Agoda price if you need to ensure your room is booked in advance. Older building, but has recently modernised rooms and bathrooms. Very roomy 20sq.m plus 5.5 sq.m bright and airy fully tiled bathroom. Big 6 foot bed with decent cottons and good strip lighting (some would say harsh) - makes for a quite comfortable stay....
Ubon has a great choice of relatively new accomodation-only budget mansion hotels in the range 450 to 700 baht and breakfast-inclusive budget+ones at 600 to 900. This new one (opened late 2015) I discovered to be one of my top 4 in the latter category - the others being Bliss, Rapeepan Ville and Outside Inn. As with all these hotels you get a big 6 foot kingsize bedde...
This place has the bones of a good hotel but it is let down by little things. Clunky light control panel, burnt and dirty carpets, terrible water pressure for the shower . . . The noise from the bar was a pain as was parking on the weekend. Breakfast was interesting. They tried Thai and Western and missed both. But it is what it is. Good value, comfortable and hand...
Budget hotel ,clean room , good location if you have your vehicle , hot and cold water system not work well, near Central plaza Ubon.
The receptionist couldn't speak English and instead of trying to communicate she kept on laughing at us. I'm sure she didn't mean to upset us, but it was very annoying when we tried to ask her something and the only answer we got was her laugh. Besides, the restaurant where they served the breakfast looked quite dirty, so we decided to have our breakfast at a different...
I considered Bliss Hotel, or Sunee Grand Hotel, but T3 House seemed the best location and value for my short stopover and I believe it was the best choice. I arrived from Pakse, Laos by express bus which dropped us off at a remarkably inconveniently located bus station on northern fringe of town where motorcycle taxis are pretty much the only transportation source on...
The Hotel is very well located in the centre of Ubon City. It is within 10-15mins walk to the Night Market, Moon River, Food market and the vegetarian restaurant which we went to daily. We love it's location as it is very central and convenient. It is very valued for money as the booking comes with breakfast. Breakfast is good. As we are vegetarians, the staffs cooke...
Imagine yourself wake up in centre of town, EVERYTHING you might need in Ubon Ratchathani is just reachable, yes, this hotel is. Most temples to visit ease to walk to, night market that you can enjoy local and street food is just cross street. Old restaurant worth to visit is just 3 block ahead. And if you are lazy enough hotel's restaurant is named for the best savour...
orginal ambience, Quite place - Nice Room interior . really relaxing place for stay Ubon
We had stayed here before when we were visiting Udon Ratchathani. The other location we liked but was not centrally located was the Pentahug. Our evening entertainment is bowling and as part of the Nevada complex, they have very good bowling lanes. It is also very close to the Sunee Plaza which has a variety of shops and restaurants. They have a unique elevator sys...
My second stay at Baan Suan. This is a perfect resort if you want to stay in the area or if you have a car. Its quiet and peaceful, staff are so helpful and friendly, good food, great swimming pool, and so cheap. Breakfast is included and its delicious, not a huge range but its more than enough to get you started for the day. If I have to go to Ubon again I will stay h...
Quiet. Clean. Bright. Spacious. Low price. In the suburbs of Ubon Ratchathani
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thanks to the room being big, well-furnished, clean and with plenty of outdoor light. For the price we paid, it was an amazing deal. Yes, there is only one English TV channel, but if you came all the way to Ubon Ratchathani to watch TV, you've got bigger issues. Keep in mind the big park and in-city tourist spots are 5km from the hotel b...
Went to Ubon Ratchathani for one night only and found the hotel very comfortable, clean, and well decorated. The wifi was excellent. The gym was in very good condition and the staff helpful. Getting around is not difficult by taxi (we had a fabulous dinner on the river). You do need the street address to get back as Thais have trouble pronouncing the name. Breakfast wa...
a bit deep in a soi, but there's a clear sign for hotel direction. approx 5 min walk to get out to the main road. Good thing is it is really quiet at night. Staffs are lovely and helpful. Wifi is OK,but not so good speed for a serious user like me. There's a comment about wifi in the past, but still the same. Not a signal strength problem, but network speed problem. Pr...
Much can be said about the staff, but to keep things short, they are phenomenal. To start off, they speak English, which is a rarity in this area of Thailand. I was able to communicate with them flawlessly, and they were extremely kind and hospitable. The family that owns the resort actually lives on site, so they are accessible 24/7. Speaking of hospitality: for thre...
Got a discounted rate (about $20) for New Year's Eve on drive back from southern Laos to Vientiane through Thailand. Spacious, clean rooms that look relatively new, with TV, fridge, bed-side tables (though only one with a lamp). Good, friendly service. Got there in time to order lunch before restaurant closed for the New Year, though bar service remained open to order ...
I, or we, visit Ubon regularly. Have stayed in 20+ Ubon hotels over 8 years; over 5 times now at Come Pang ('Cam Paeng'). 'Standard' upper floor rooms are typically 650. Same rooms, but called Deluxe, on ground floor with parking at door are 750ish. It's new/very clean. European quality and European comfort beds - probably best in Ubon. A six ft double in a modern an...
No food available, you need taxi to reach the centre. No personal in the reception.
We had a good stay at U Place, located near the main entrance to Ubon Ratchathani University. The hotel had few guests on the Sunday night we stayed there and so it was very quiet. We had a nice chat with the hotel manager, who speaks very good English and was helpful to us. WiFi worked well in our room. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good. There are se...
All round It was okay. Breakfast not great. Rooms pretty small. But Good. Not a bad hotel at all, I did enjoy it. But I think some of the other hotels in Ubon are better.
Cheap places to stay in Ubon Ratchathani
In walking distance of many stores, food market and restraunts, owners are very kind and helpful
I stayed 2 days in the YUU Hotel on my way to Lao . I can highly recomand it , very comfortable , good wifi , and just 5 mn walk from the night market ! They also provide free bicycle to go around ! I would like to thank Joe the manager , who speak a perfect English and provided very good advises ! So if you are in Ubon , don’t hesitate , here is the perfect pla...
This was such a great place to stay! Great price, super clean, brand new really. They made great food and great coffee in their cafe (very cheap), the decorations are so cool too, but the best thing is that the brother and sister who run it are the most excited and friendly brother and sister around! It was so fun just hanging out with them, and they were very accom...
The staff was really sweet and kind. The location is remote from the city cente, but if you want to visit Wat Nang Pah Pong, it’s near there.
Good
Perfect all room , good view and everthitg see you.
Hotel located down the end of a quiet, well kept Soi. The room was large and everything worked. There was even a small 2nd room in the back whose door opened to a nice clothes drying rack system. I think this hotel was converted from one of those Thai small side-by-side apartment complexes which would explain the extra room and large front room. The WIFI worked good. L...

It's not too bad. But you can't seem to get the internet at all, which is bothersome. The surrounding is nice, but outside of the hotel, you can see the almost dried up lake. The drinks like soda isn't available when you want something sweet to drink. The only thing I could say is that I slept comfortably at the resort. The night is cheap and affordable for someone of ...

Stayed here 3 years ago and the place was terrific but things have changed. Recently visited while Ubon Ratchathani was experiencing historic flooding. The bedding needed to be changed, and there was a big stain in the middle of the duvet that smelled of some kind of human discharge. It was pretty disgusting. Wifi wasn't working for the duration of our stay but sin...

perfect ติดแค่ที่จอดรถยังไม่เยอะ นอกนั้นแหล่มเลย
Just the coordination is the problem. Anyways, the staff can deal with it.
For the price, you can't beat it. It is basic, but if you're looking for clean rooms and the essentials, it's all there. Coffee and toast in the morning, friendly staff, 7-11 just down the street, and a nice restaurant on the corner. Compared to other hotels in the area, I think this is the best.
New hotel , nice rooms , but in the middle of nowhere , no hot water at all in our room , but got offered another so ok . If you don’t mind roosters crowing from 4am , and ants crawling all over your stuff , worth the cheap price but don’t expect a too much .
Arriving at 8 pm, checkout was difficult because they don't speak english but check out was with a english speaking person. Place quiet. Cheap room come without windows, but it is ok as it is new.
Although this apartment is not located within the heart of Ubon's CBD, it is reasonably convenient and affordable. On balance, the Living Apartment is an accommodation option well worth considering for budget-conscious travelers.
had a great time and relaxed whilst there with no pressures a really relaxing vibe and friendly staff as well as many different places close by
Outstanding value at walk-in price and good at the Agoda price if you need to ensure your room is booked in advance. Older building, but has recently modernised rooms and bathrooms. The address tricked me up - don't look at the street numbers on the address, look at the map instead. Other than that, the room was good, so was the service, although not a lot of english spoken.
Nichravee Hotel is a small, well-run budget hotel which served as our 'home' for several weeks whilst we were waiting for our house in Ubon to be ready for occupation. The hotel offers no food although does provide facilities for making one's own, simple breakfast. The rooms are well furnished and quite spacious (we stayed in the main hotel building and not in the chal...
Budget hotel ,clean room , good location if you have your vehicle , hot and cold water system not work well, near Central plaza Ubon.
Very helpful staff and great facilities. Very nice area!
This was the first hotel in Ubon and it shows. A little worse for wear, but it still has the1960's vibe. The rates are great, the breakfast is fine, an the location is the best! Thung Si Muang Park is across the street and the evening market has a great selection of authentic Thai street food. We visit Ubon every month and found that there are many hotels, but this one...
Despite visiting Thailand for months each year, this time Bangkok's treatment of tourists made us not want to come back...... until we arrived at Jeab's Mo Do Ong - where we thought that we had died and gone to Heaven! She spoiled us from the moment we arrived, always going the extra mile - dropping us off to the Mall or to the bus station. She even minded a bag over...
Accidentally stumbled upon this hotel. Previously stayed in many Thai hotels but this hotel was just great for us. It’s new and offering a promotion which included a small breakfast. Room were much bigger than the average and cleaned daily. Only booked 1 day initially but quickly booked a week. It’s a little outside the main thoroughfare but near Centre World and...
My hotel of choice in Ubon for location and price. Usually very clean but lights and fridges not always in good working order. Some staff speak English now. Hot water - BYO real coffee or instant soup - available in foyer. No English tv channels but wi-fi works so you can provide your own media.
Clean, simple facilities but made so welcome. Loved the individual hut and enjoyed the time i was there. Would recommend to anyone
I stayed 3 nights as I wanted to see a local football game. The hotel is in walking distance to the ground and local markets/shops. The staff was very friendly, helped me printing out my online boarding pass and were also helpful when asking for local attractions and events. The room was very clean. AC working flawlessly and the bed was comfortable. Only downside f...

My personal thoughts about Ubon is that it is fast growing city. I came here 5 years ago and I have seen the difference.
Ever since my first visit in 2009 till now I never regretted to go back there as the food and people are so nice to others.
visiting temples in the city center is very interesting , after that you spend your time with beautiful nature of this province with Sirindhorn Dam, Kaeng Tana cascade on Mun river and along the way to Khong Jiem : Pha Cha Dai to see the first light of sunrise
Not much to offer but a nice town by Thai standards, extremely friendly people. Not much to offer in terms of "attractions" apart from the National Park 60 km away.
Ubon is well known for its friendly people and that is no exaggeration. A bit short on the ground as far as other attractions.
It's very humid and hot. Many people are from vietnam which they have been living there since the war in Vietnam.
Ubon Ratchathani is very quiet looked so lifeless, easy to go about by Taxi and its all in meter. It's also cheap to travel by Taxi.
Ubon Ratchathani is a very nice city. The river "Moon" runs through the city. One should try to sit or dine by the riverside in the evening.
Quiet town, spread out a bit in parts. Not over westernized (no 7-11 or Mc Donalds on every corner) But has what you need.
Ubon Ratchathni has lots of historical places to visit. There is an unseen Thailand sight which lies in this town.
Very good mix of many thing such as cultural, nature, religious and traditional. also mix of both country Thai's and Lao's
Great little city, laid back, friendly, everything within walking distance, not yet sunk under the weight of back-packer hostels.
I've gone to Ubon 4 or 5 times and everytime I was completely unable to find any nightlife whatsoever.
Ubon is a small city. Easy to walk around and not many tourist. People are nice, but I did not see so many things I could be doing there.
There are so many temple in the city but I hear about outside the city have so many famous places to travel
Interesting looking city. But my hotel was too far away to enjoy all this vibrant city has to offer!
We have visited many temples in town there were interested and inspired us to find out more information of Ubol in the old day.
I have traveled many parts of the world and this town is honestly one of the strangest places I have ever been.
Ubon is still 'real' Thailand, with the 'pros' that its not farang crowded, people did not forget how to smile yet, normal life going on around you.
It is a Big and very nice City to visit. A must see for all. Great food and site seeing. In July is the Candle festival, a very great event to see.
I am going to travel Ubon Ratchathani with my parents, around 12 peoples. We are staying 3 days 2 nights.
Personally, I'd never go back to Ubon. It is not my kinda town. I only stayed there two nights and wish it were only one - or none.
GET A CAB TO TAKE YOU TO 3 OR 4 TEMPLES TO SEE THE WAX FLOATES. MAKE SURE TO GO TO SPAGO RESTURANT AND PEPPERS BAKERY AND RESTURANT.
Ubon Ratchathani is a nice town for a short stay with a few nice attractions outside the city. Hence be prepared to drive for quite some time around the surrounding landscapes.
We come to Ubon very often, as my wife is from there/here. It is growing very fast, this can be good and bad.
Ubon is gettinh more busier everday, the aiport is very good. giving t a great start to touring greater issan.
Ubon's a nice enough town. Like all Thai cities, it's no oil-painting, but it makes up for it with a few interesting areas.
