You can't ask for too much when you pay not much. Base Taupo is close to the i-site Taupo and the Intercity bus stop. The staff there are friendly and helpful. In terms of facilities, it would be better if there were hooks on the wall for hanging clothes as well as a small table in the room.

We had a fantastic trip to Lake Taupo. Great little hotel, high quality facilities and very comfortable beds. Walking distance to bars and restaurants but a decent kitchen you could make breakfast if you wanted to. We highly recommend this hotel and Taupo, much nicer than Rotorua town, great holiday feel.

Fab location over looking the lake, room was large and spacious with good facilities. It’s a bit of a walk into the centre of Taupo. Hotel has good parking. Highly recommended.

The whole apartment was nice, clean and comfortable. However it would be better if equipt with portable heater in the bedroom The bath room a bit odd, large empty room split with tiny shower room and toilet. this is one of our favouroite hotels in taupo. it has stunning lakeside views. the furnishings are great and compliments the room well. we love the landscaping. the breakfast is delicious and there's even free dvd rentals for entertainment. the bathroom is a bit small and the shower is a little bit cramp however.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chantillys Motor Lodge in Taupo. Very large room, which was clean and had all we needed. Great location, walking distance to the main centre. Hosts were very friendly, would stay there again.

We were 4 people and a baby and this place was excellent value for money. The view to Lake Taupo was amazing as we were pretty much just off the lakeside. The place was clean and both bedrooms were excellent quality. The rooms with views got very hot in the sunshine but an air conditioner was provided so this was not a big problem for us.

Suncourt is an awesome place to stay at. Its close to everything you want. Their pools are amazing and the room we stayed in was enormous. Worth every penny! Location was perfect not to far from the city centre and taupo lake water front. The room was nice, comfortable and modern. Also very private which was perfect.

I've been travelling thru nz and this hostel is the best! (no "one of") I stay here everytime when I'm back to Taupo!
