"I really loved this hostel. It's brand new and everything is really high quality. The kitchen is so big and fully stocked, the lounge is great, there's a hot tub, outdoor areas, great view, and is just a few minutes' walk to the lake and to the town center. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Actually, I checked out of my room at the required time of 10am, but was leaving Taupo on the bus at 1:30am. The staff were nice enough to keep my bag in reception till 8pm, when they closed. I got my bags but just hung out on their comfy sofas in the lounge, watching tv and using their fast, free wifi until midnight, when the lounge closed. This was way above and beyond what I expected! Oh, and my room, a private with ensuite bathroom, was impeccably clean, new, and had a tv. The other guests were very respectful and stuck to the quiet hours so I had a great time and definitely highly recommend!"

"For the price we paid we're pretty sure we got one of the best views/stays at a hotel in Taupo that we've had thus far (and we come here often). The bed was comfortable, the TV worked well, the internet was great, and the takeaways from the restaurant were amazing. I don't know why'd you pay double or more for anything else when you'd get exactly the same. This place is a bargain. There's also a pool and spa (which we didn't use) that were in great condition. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and overall our stay was great. Would highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere to stay!"
