Seville hotels & accommodations

By any criteria one of the finest boutique small hotels in the world. The location and style were first rate. However the star of the show is to a person the staff were remarkable. When I checked in I mentioned it was my birthday later in the week. How surprised that 3 days later the restaurant, house cleaners and front desk all wished me happy birthday. When I return...

We had a wonderful stay in Seville and this hotel was wonderful . Clean amazing access to the city hub . Staff helpful and happy. Helped book entertainment and referred to nice local places to eat. Room was small and we shared a patio / courtyard with another room . Bed comfortable and great pillows. Only bad comment would be shower was very very small . Claustropho...

This hotel was a pleasure to walk into everytime we returned from out excursions, it felt very elegent and clean, it was beautifully designed - modern and sleek but with a hint of rustic spanish character so that you do feel as though you are in Spain. It is lovely and cool which was essential in Seville in August, comfortable rooms with excellent air conditioning for ...

Absolutely wonderful hotel! Location could not be more perfect - right next to all the major attractions and all the best eateries. The hotel interior is gorgeous and the staff were always so happy to help with charm and panache! Would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone wanting to visit Seville . Only word of warning, driving there is very tricky! But once you...

Everything. Centrally located and easy to find. 15mins walking distance to the Cathedral. Staff are very kind and helpful, and speak very good English (which is not so common in Spain, as far as my personal encounters go). The double room i booked was very clean and had all the basic stuff one needs. Overall very good value for money for a guesthouse and i would defini...

Hotel Simon is in a 300 year old mansion near the Seville cathedral and is wonderful. Our room which was priced as a basic room was large and had a large bathroom. The lobby is beautiful. We did not have the breakfast but saw that is was mostly continental with cereal, breads and juices. The location is excellent. It is across constitution avenue from the cathedral and...

Nothing to complain. This hotel understands service. From the time we arrived and until we left we were given above 5 star service. The staff are exceptionally friendly offering advice for restaurants as well as giving refills on the welcoming drink of Cava. Our room was not ready but we were able to relax in the lobby and then on the roof top with some Cava while ...

Initially checked in and out in standard room. Nothing particularly wrong, but nothing particularly special. Was upgraded due to honeymoon. Very nice room and nice size. Breakfast was great. Pool got plenty of sunlight. Gym was usable. Huge supermarket next door. Couple of decent restaurants in area. So in general very happy. Only negative was the 20-25min walk to ci...

We stayed at this lovely boutique hotel on our recent trip to Seville. The location is ideal - right in the middle of everything you want to see in town and walkable to all the sights. Our rooms were perfect...a great combination of the charm of an old building with modern conveniences. More than anything, we loved the staff. They were extremely welcoming and helpful t...

The location itself was good but it was quite hard to find by walking from the terminal. The hotel seems to be changed its name recently so the taxi drivers didn't understand at first. So i showed a map to go. The interior was nice as well, and the scent filled around the hotel was very nice. Swimming pool is located right after the elevator, but the tile needs to be...

Overall, a good hotel for visiting Seville. The public areas were excellent and although the bedroom was adequate, it was a bit dingy and dated. The food in the restaurant was of a high quality although one dish ordered on two separate occasions varied greatly in both quantity and quality. However, I would recommend this hotel and would use it again on future visits...

we picked this hotel for location and other customer reviews and we were not disapointed. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Didn't have the breakfast as reviews said to eat out and they were right most places open by 9am. This hotel is a couple of streets up from Constitution Ave which is the main route to all attractions . We would define...

The cleanliness of the hotel, free tea and coffee in the lobby, free wifi. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Ask for a quiet room on 2nd floor at the back with windows room 410. Spacious room. Bus stop for Hop on Hop off bus outside the hotel very convenient. There were plenty of bars and eating places outside the hotel and surrounding areas, some serving not so nice ...

Just returned from a fabulous four day stay at the hotel Zenit. This really is a lovely hotel, situated in the Triana area of Seville in close proximity to the river and a number of lovely bars and restaurants. The main centre of Seville is only a 10 to 15 minute pleasant walk. The room was lovely, clean and very modern with a excellent bathroom. All the rooms overlook...

The room is big and spacious with everything that you need! As it's an apartment, the room is equipped with all the necessary utensils for you to cook or just heat up a cold meal yourself. It takes close to 15mins to walk from the Bus station (also the location where the Airport Bus stops) to the suite. If you have large luggage or a lot of things to carry, it may be ...

Thie hotel has a uniqueness about it I've never experienced before.3 to 4 Casas ( houses ) intriguingly connected by a maze of basements and corridors.all old houses with really great spacious rooms for a hotel so central in Seville .don't be put off by the maze description it is quirky and good fun .all the buildings are old and have the Seville character of something...

We spent some time driving around Seville looking for this hotel, not realising it is some way from the city centre in a newly developed business area. Once found, we had a great time there: it is modern, spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable and has some great facilities; the gym is good, the bar enjoyable and the free underground car parking a bonus. Our only probl...

pension giraldilla is an ideal location for sightseeing Seville. It is a small comfortable hotel with 24 hour reception and lovely friendly and helpful staff. The location is fantastic. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean Although they do not supply breakfast, you can buy hot drinks from a vending machine in reception. I would definitely recommend it...
Cheap places to stay in Seville

I want to give this hostel a fair review so I will say that it is fine for a night! They have a tv room and Netflix and a nice roof terrace. However after one night you start to notice the dankness in the air (didn’t help that our window simply opened to the hall = no fresh air) and this meant that on my second night I was finding it hard to breath in bed as I think th...

The building was out of working but the owner was very nice and took me to another hostel that I liked a lot and even did a little tour with me in the city centre and showed nice places to eat. I'll try to go to this hostel again next time I go to Seville.

My stay was astounding. By far one of the BEST hostels in SPAIN! If you stay at Oasis Backpacker Palace Sevilla--expect 5-star treatment, great facilities, CAFE/BAR on-site with BREAKFAST, DINNER OPTIONS for an additional cost on the rooftop, nightly pub crawls, activities every night with awesome staff, rooftop terrac/swimming pool open during spring and summer season...

The staff here are AMAZING! They really do make you feel like part of a family and they have family dinners and events every night. As for my room, I got a 4-bed room with our own bathroom. Every room has their own bathroom, which is nice. Each bed has their own light as well so you don’t have to leave the top light on when one is sleeping. My ONLY complaint is that th...

I arrived late at night (around 2 am) and clemence was there for check in. She showed me all facilities and was very pleasant. This hostel is perfectly located in the middle of everything. The large terrace rooftop with a little swimming pool is just amazing ! Breakfast is super ! Thanks for everything.

Great option for backpackers. We arrived after leaving Hotel Goya down the road after a terrible experience with the manager there. It was a breath of fresh air to be greeted by Hostal San Francisco's friendly staff, and be given such a great rate. The hostal provided toilettries, free wifi, a balcony, and air conditioning. Room and bathroom were a little small, but...

The man at the front desk went above and beyond the call of duty in assisting me in my stay in Sevilla as well as helping me along in my little journey throughout Portugal, Spain and Morocco. He was not only willing to book my bus and ferry tickets on Spanish-language websites for me, but he used his own personal credit card since it was having trouble accepting mine. ...

I selected this hotel because of the budget price and the location. It was a family managed hotel and they were very friendly. The room where I stayed at needs some renovation, maybe because of the drain system, the room had a smell of bathroom all the time, but considering the price, it was acceptable just for one night stay.

Had a great stay here! It is in a central location with very friendly and helpful staff! The room and hotel itself are great! The batheoim drainage system needs to be rethought and the bunk beds make noise at the slightest movement. Overall was a great place to stay and would stay here again!

it was cheap for a single room even just a small room, out of city centre but just opposite to metro station. the sink in room was going to fall down, window faces to corridor and room is hot. the worst thing is they charged my credit card online not in EURO but my home country's currency that made me to pay more, they should not do that without asking me, I found out ...

We had no problems with this hotel. The staff couldn't speak much English but this wasn't a problem, they were still very friendly. The room was cleaned daily which was a nice touch, and I think we were upgraded to a double room which had a sink and a window even though I booked a twin as it was cheaper. We were there during a heat wave in Seville so it was quite ho...

The room is very small, but we were not visiting Seville for the room! Since we really only used the room for sleeping, it suited our needs. The tile work and hanging plants give Lis a ton of character. It's really close to Metropol Parasol, which makes it easy to locate and get back to from anywhere in Seville.

It was great to finally get to the hotel and hop in the pool. The restaurant and bar were convenient. Front of house staff were helpful and friendly. Location wasn't the best only because the day I arrived all the taxis were on strike and it took 2 buses to get there. Also, if you advertise room service its a good idea to have someone in the kitchen that can speak Eng...

Our stay was excellent. We had booked it through the internet at a relatively low rate, looking for just two qualifications -- that it should have good internet, and that it should be relatively easy to reach from the airport. We were happy to be positively surprised and to get a large room, perfectly clean and well maintained, a big bathroom with all necessary ameniti...

Beautiful hotel, lovely room, staff very helpful and about 10-15mins walk to most places in Seville. This means it's quiet at night. The courtyards are the pool and surround are very stylish and never crowded, not when we were there anyway. Didn't have dinner there but the menu and restaurant looked very nice.

We stayed here for a night on a tour of Spain, the hotel reception area is lovely it’s very clean and the nice smells hit you as soon as you arrive. The staff were always working hard to keep it spotless. We went to the Panorama restaurant which was well worth a visits with lovely views over Seville. The only draw back if this hotel is that it is quite a walk into the ...

Lovely hotel with modern classy decor throughout. No coffee or tea facilities in the room if that's an issue. The location is quite far from the centre/old town, either a 30 min walk or 15 min taxi or bus ride. Breakfast buffet is quite small and limited but good for a quick bite. We used it as our base for the Seville Marathon and would recommend it to others.

I was very disappointing to find out the pool was closed and there was nowhere to sit outside in the gorgeous sunshine, it may be March but March in Seville is hot! Thats primarily why I booked it, also to be nearer airport.(but that was still a 28 euro fare) Not sure why as i traveled twice that distance to get to teh hotel for half that fee. Are the taxis doing a dea...

Located in Casco Antiguo, the heart of the old town of Sevilla. The Cathedral and Real Alcazar are within 10-minute walk. Many restaurants, cafes and bars in the neighborhood. The apartment is clean and Maria, the reception, was friendly. Recommended.

Wow, what an excellent apartment, very spacious, can fit 4 people. The living room is very comfortable, you can cook in the kitchen or do your laundry. 2 toilets although in one some of the tiles were falling apart. Reception was very helpful and suggested some nice restaurants. Situated in the center of old Sevilla, in 5min walking distance to the main square. The ...

Black Swan Hostel has a great location. It’s within walking distance to most tourist spots. If you’re going to Granada, the hostel is also near the central bus station. The staff spoke english, were nice, and accommodating. The area is safe despite the hostel being in an isolated area beside the main roads. My only issue is that I wish the airconditioning was automatic...

Our stay at the AlmaSeville was a comfortable one but not up to 5-star standards. The room was well-decorated but rather dark as it only had one window facing the inner courtyard area. I was told this was normal for hotels in the central old part of Seville, but we stayed at another hotel in Seville, where we had windows facing out to the street and a square-- our ro...

Fantastic hotel and the best in Seville. Great location to walk to all the main sites, excellent facilities - in the height of summer the swimming pool is a must and a nice relaxed area after a morning of sight seeing. The staff are very attentive. The only small negative is some of the house keeping could be stepped up, we were left with no glasses in the hotel room b...

Love it, I'll be back. if you love culture, food, nightlife, history etc....its all there. beautiful city!
Sevilla is divine, as is all of Andalucia. Much nicer people than in snooty Barcelona. And there is Cadiz, Jerez, Malaga, Cordoba and Granada - easily reached by RENFE.
The streets of the Jewish Quarter are infuriating even with the best apps! Just be prepared! The afternoon heat is real! So just accept it and take a break from your excursions to recoup your energy, like to locals! Use a trusted source to plan your itinerary.
Seville is a must to visit in the south of Spain. It has magnificent historic architecture and has a school for flamenco dancing.
There is much of historical interest to be discovered in Seville, the river area is very attractive, the vast restaurant area is welcoming, the buildings are architecturally graceful, the Palace and Cathedral are both worthy of visits and it is worth noting that the cathedral, once a mosque, is of interest to Muslim and Christian tourists and both can be seen queuing side by side for access.
Amazing culture in this City. We were travelling and driving around Spain and Seville is on the top of the list.
I loved Seville and just wish I new more Spanish to communicate with the locals. It felt safe and transport around is a breeze.
A lovely town with good food and flaminco show. It is relaxing to stay at Seville for a short weekend.
Sevilla is very nice and everything is reachable by foot. During the week of 'la Feria' it is very packed but really worthwhile to visit the area.
We found Seville to be an average city as compared to Granada or Barcelona in terms of beauty. Plaza Espana and city cathedral are worth a visit but other cities have a bit better monuments.
We purchased a Seville Card before coming to the place. it depends on how many days you want to stay.
One of Spain's best cities, lots to see including sights just out of the centre. The main shopping area and cathedral is a must to visit.
Ville historique avec son apogée de la période Andalouse qui est tronquée par les guides et les revues locales.
fascinating place, full of southern Spanish charm. totally relaxing place, enough to do n see for 4-5 days.
not a very big city but lots of cultural spots, such as Cathedral, Alcazar, Arab Bath and Falmenco dance.
avoid holiday season, July-August. Lots of people and very hot (45 degree celcius). Not a great place to shop, but very nice to see cultural activities such as " Flamenco" and going to Arab Bath for siesta time

Whether you're wandering through the historic Santa Cruz neighborhood or enjoying a sunset cruise along the Guadalquivir River, Seville offers a unique blend of experiences that make it a must-visit destination in Spain.
As you explore Seville, you’ll discover that it’s not just about the sights; it’s about the sounds, tastes, and textures that create an unforgettable experience. The city's hospitality is warm and welcoming, making it easy for travelers to feel at home. With so much to see and do, Seville is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who visits.
Seville's Vibrant History and Culture
Seville's history is a rich mosaic of cultural influences, primarily shaped by the Romans and Moors. The city flourished during the Age of Discovery, becoming a vital trading hub that connected Europe with the Americas. This period saw the construction of iconic landmarks such as the Giralda Tower, originally built as a minaret, which now stands as a symbol of the city. The blend of Islamic architecture with Gothic and Renaissance styles creates a unique aesthetic that is distinctly Seville.
Visitors can explore the remnants of this fascinating history at the Real Alcázar, a stunning royal palace that showcases the intricate artistry of Moorish design. The palace's lush gardens and ornate rooms tell stories of the kings and queens who once resided there. The Catedral de Sevilla, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, also reflects the city’s historical significance, housing Christopher Columbus’s tomb and offering breathtaking views from its bell tower.
Seville’s cultural identity is further enriched by its traditions, particularly the passionate art of flamenco. This soulful dance and music genre originated in the Andalusian region and can be experienced in various venues throughout the city. Local festivals, such as the Semana Santa (Holy Week) and the Feria de Abril (April Fair), showcase the city’s vibrant culture, with colorful processions and lively celebrations that attract visitors from around the globe.
Best Time to Experience Seville
The ideal time to visit Seville is during the spring and fall months, specifically from March to May and September to November. During these seasons, the weather is pleasantly warm, making it perfect for outdoor exploration. Springtime, in particular, is a magical time to experience the city, as it coincides with the famous Semana Santa and Feria de Abril festivals. The streets come alive with processions, music, and vibrant decorations, offering a unique glimpse into the local culture.
Summer in Seville can be quite hot, with temperatures often exceeding 35°C (95°F). While the heat might deter some travelers, those who can handle the warmth will find fewer crowds and a more relaxed atmosphere. If you choose to visit in the summer, be sure to take advantage of the city’s late-night dining scene, where locals enjoy meals after the sun goes down.
Winter is mild, with temperatures averaging around 10°C to 15°C (50°F to 59°F). This is a great time for budget-conscious travelers, as hotel prices tend to drop during this season. Although it may not be the peak tourist season, the city’s charm remains intact, and visitors can enjoy a quieter experience while exploring its many attractions.
Travel Tips for an Unforgettable Seville Getaway
When visiting Seville, a few travel tips can enhance your experience. Firstly, learning a few basic Spanish phrases can go a long way in connecting with the locals. While many people in the tourism sector speak English, the warmth of a simple “hola” (hello) or “gracias” (thank you) can be appreciated by the residents.
Cultural etiquette is also important to consider. Spaniards typically enjoy later meal times, with lunch served around 2 PM and dinner not until 9 PM or later. Embracing this schedule will allow you to fully enjoy the local dining scene. Additionally, dress codes can vary depending on the venue; while casual attire is acceptable for most places, upscale restaurants may require more formal clothing.
As for packing, comfortable walking shoes are a must, as Seville is best explored on foot. The city’s cobblestone streets and historic neighborhoods invite leisurely strolls, so be prepared to wander. Don’t forget to bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated during your adventures, especially in the warmer months. A light scarf or shawl can also be handy for visiting religious sites, where modest dress is often required.
