Where to stay in Phang Nga
Phang Nga hotels & accommodations
I love to stay away from bustling town, Phuket. That is the reason I chose this hotel. The beach is nice. The swimming & hot spring are superb. The service is ok. Wifi is a bit slow. My room is clean. The architecture seems like built in 90s. It has feeder bus to near by town Khok Kloi every two hours. Tours to Phang Nga bay, Koh Phi Phi & James Bond Island can be arra...
Brand new hotel. So new that there were no fridge in the room. In Thailand that is a must. Thai style bathroom. Everything inside the room was brand new. Good TV selection. English speaking channels. Chromecast works fine here.Very clean. Breakfast was ok. No elevator. KFC and 7 eleven close by.
The hotel was really nice. It was very quiet. It was a truly relaxing. There are many activities provided. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was average. But during the night time be careful the mosquito.
For 600 Baht you get a really clean AC room, the view of the mountain is nice but you need to ignore the tons of trash in the backyard which is sadly usual in Thailand. We stayed only one night and ask for a taxi to catch the boat to Koh yao noi. There was no taxi available so they drove us to the pier in their private car to make it in time. Really nice!!
The hotel is individual and has character. It is a beautiful setting, built around a lake and the staff are very helpful. The restaurant serves the best food we have eaten in Thailand and we ate there every night. The swimming pool is in a magical setting and is beautiful. The excursions organised by the hotel are well organised and take you to see the real Thailand, ...
The WOW factor was the first thing we got upon our arrival at the Resort. It is located in the grounds of Katathong Golf Club. The Resort was six star with a three star price, maybe as there were not many people booked in. We were greeted by Tony the Resident Manager who made our check in very easy. Tony was full of information about the Resort and what to see in the a...
Cheap and cheerful, but don't expect too much in the way of entertainment or choice of restaurants. A good way to visit the Phang Nga national park area, as there are plenty of private ferry boat operators and fishermen in the area. The swimming pool is out of service, but the adjacent beach is adequate, although it could use a clean up. Local people are very capable o...
I chose this place as this is an old style building converted to be chic accommodation, but very clean. It provides public area to sit, talk and see some Historical places in This city. Owner who run business give some interesting recommendations to visit places in Phang-Nga town. It' s near fresh market, where easy to find local Southern food. The deck of hotel provide...
I don't think I should be writing this review because I don't want to ruin how special and secret this place feels by attracting more people to it. However I think people should know about it as it was one of the most special places Ive ever visited and stayed. Far away from the busy tourist trap towns that seem to now dominate Thailand this was the highlight of our 3 ...
Take the room upstairs. Great view and huge size. Room is good enough for 2 stars guesthouse but very clean. Absolute best part of our stay is thanks to owner. He guided us for the day trip to phang nga islands trip. As photographer enthusiast like me, we went together to see sunrise in fishermen village. Then we did the classic day trip with all normal destinatio...
Had a perfect stay at Tambai resort The rooms are clean, comfortable and bright Located near Phang Nga centre in a quiet street, easy access to the Ao Phang Nga tours The staff is very helpful and professional. We arrived late and they took care of everything I highly recommend this place
Convenient for motorists. Kao Pochana (elephant sign) restaurant next door (great Thai food) closes early (2pm?) Quiet at night, relaxed nature around. Close to Natai Beach. Private. Could be a good Honney Mooner's inn on budget.
We spent 4 splendid nights in this amazing place in the middle of the nature near Thai meaung. Wild private beach 10 min by bike. Private lake. 20 min from Kaoh lak for diving sessions. Really worth staying. I'm telling you, one of the best spot of thailand for those who really appreciate calm and nature. best memories.
Perfect guest house for a night or two stay over in the town, the room was very spacious and clean and staff/gentlemen welcomed us in.
I like this resort because it good view make me relaxing from City and near natural good view. so, it beautiful Mountain.
It is 4 km out of town and isolated with pleasant surrounding. Nice outlook from balcony with trees and shrubs. No food facilities nearby so you must take some or rely on room service which is not always available Have stayed there several times and will remain my Phang nga hotel of choice
We slept in tents, in the jungle, next to a lagoon! The tent are large and high and under a roof. It sounds like you re right in the jungle, its cool at night without fan and you re looking straight at a lagoon. Food is amazing and cheap. There s a temple and pizza nearby in case you re not into thai food every day. Nice waterfall to the north. Massage can he ordered. ...
We have visited the Phang Nga bay withé M.T tour opérateur. It was Nice but too long time spent on the boat instead of walking or swimming around the Islands.
A very relaxing stay at the Villa during the low season with a really good price at agoda. We stayed 3 nights here in the mid August. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I will never forget eating the tasty sweet durian together. staffs are friendly and helpful. They help doing everything during my stay, including preparing breakfast and sometimes dinner and all t...

Turned up after an hour trying to find the place (map wasn't great and sign posting not great and asked some very friendly local people) and there was a guy who didn't speak much English (our Thai terrible) watching tv in one of the rooms and the resort didn't seem to be open for business (no reception, bit run down, no staff). Great loacation though by the river and ...
Pakor Boutique Resort is an amazing hotel with very friendly people. The rooms and the hotel complex are beautifully decorated and offer everything you need. The location of the hotel is great and quiet. You can either rent a scooter and explore the area yourself or ask the hotel manager to give you a ride to the town. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and t...
Great value for the money. Comfortable beds, excellent location (beside a night market and close to the falls) tons of channels on the TV if you are just clicking away before bed. The staff were pleasant and tried to be helpful. The room however was not at all as described or shown in photos. This place is mainly a transient 'hotel' that either serves for long stay business workers or short stay home seekers. At this point my boyfriend and I have been travelling for over 2 months and never had such a horrible smelling room. As soon as we entered...
I was there for two days, no one ever at reception, had to hunt to find someone. I didn't mind the room or location, however room was not cleaned and water replaced in second day, had to ask for water and coffee after I found them lol then they spoke mostly Thai. What is on the agora site is different to what you get, but overall was ok
The location is to secluded and there are no taxis. Only stay here if you are doing the James Bond island tour ( do not get it from mr.kean at the bus stop! He will promise the world but won't deliver). You are better off staying in the main town of Phang Nga as there are at least a couple of good bars and places to eat, as well as the brilliant monk cave temple. Final...
Very good. Would definitely recommend
Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast adequate. I am surprised the hotel is new, possibly they used older materials to do so. Hot water in shower.
We stayed in Phang Nga because we wanted to do the Phang Nga bay tour. It cost us 1100 bath/person for full day tour after a bit of negotiation ( kayak tour not included). We did not enjoy the tour in our opinion it’s a waste of time, we would not recommend. But the hostel was great and I would definitely stay there again, a lot of cheap places to eat there, not many t...
we loved our time with mr. choui and his family. Basic bungalows, great food and atmosphere. Perfect family vibe. we'll be back.
Cheap places to stay in Phang Nga
Ute the owner of this resort is a sweet funny man who will do his best to show you a good time. He met us at the bus station and also took us to the pier. The two cottages are very basic but have a/c and hot water. The bed was very hard. The location on the river is beautiful! WiFi is good at the patio. He set up an omelet bar for us to make our breakfast. The resort i...

Very well located just about 400 metres away from the beach in a little forrest. Very good restaurant, very nice and helpful staff. Clean Bungalows. Unfortunately the generators from Rakkan Resort and Horizon Resort run the whole night. You can hear them a bit. Why not stop them at midnight? Would go to Rakkan again.

We had a wonderful stay of three nights there. The owners Nui and Gerard really made us feel like home, demonstrating so much helpfulness, hospitality and kindness. Gerard even brought us personally to town, arranged a massage appointment for both of us, took care of the registration-on his personal time....he really goes the extra mile for his guests and hence leaves ...
Very beautiful Resort. You can see the nature when you open your window. Wandee (Resort boss) just took me to the pier, night food market and to the bus Station. An amazing and kind women. I would stay there again !!

It is a brand new hotel. The owner gived us a warm welcome. We had a beautifull room with view on the mountain. There was a big bed, a tv with usb,... hotel is located in center of phang nga but you need to take a taxi or a moped to go visiting waterfalls our temples. This hotel diserves a 8/10.
