"this hotel/resort was worth it's money. the complete complex is very spacious, big parking lot, quit surroundings. the pool is nice and big enough to do your pre-breakfast fitness. the hotel itself comes like "my home" with nice old-style furnitures and schnick-schnack wich gives a cozy impression at the lobby. the rooms are big enough, clean, no cheap furnitures. all makes a solid impression. the pool is right outside the balcony.. the bathroom should have 1 light more, actually 1 bulb makes the room quite shady. the tv shows only thai/chinese channels. be aware, as a farang, you have no access to the nice sattahip beach, as its navy property!! thai citizens have no problem to go there but farangs cannot."

"My first time staying Acqua and I was really impressed by this hotel. First, the staff are some of the friendliest people around. Can't say more how much they were super helpful of anything I needed. The rooms aren't all that big but they are super comfortable and was always kept clean. The balcony was sufficient. The interesting thing is that the showers can be seen from the outside. I guess if you don't mind then don't put the blinds down, I didn't. The rooftop pool is absolutely gorgeous and I would recommend for people to take advantage of it. If you are looking for location around central Pattaya then this is one of the best places to stay in. There are many places around that will catch your attention. I won't ruin it, but stay at this hotel and you will see. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone. Would stay here in again for future visits to Pattaya."

"Note: "The Base By Fiona" is a company that owns a number of condominiums in The Base and rents them privately. The Building. - A very new building, the facilities in this Condominium are fantastic. The rooftop pool (Tower A, Level 31) is beautiful. - Excellent location on Second Road with easy access to transport, and a short stroll to Cenral Festival. The Room. - I stayed in a one-bedroom and it was adequate for my needs. Small kitchenette / small living room / bedroom / bathroom were all fine. Limited storage space if you planned to live there, but no problem for a short stay. - It was well appointed with a Safety box, Washing machine, fridge, cutlery and utensils. The frying pan was very badly scratched, but that's only because the spatula provided was metal. - Suggest that a cleaning cloth be provided. The Staff. I was very annoyed with the check-in process. I had tried to contact the Vendor beforehand but was unsuccessful. Turns out I had to go to their management office (close by at Mikes Plaza) to check-in. Office hours are 9am-9pm and a THB2k deposit is required (none of which was advised to me). The office admin assistant couldn't find my key and her manager (lazing/dozing on the couch) was very unhelpful. Eventually everything got sorted out but it was frustratingly disorganised. "

"The location of this spectacular Pattaya hotel is ideal..... right across the street from the beach ....don't miss the view From the terrace in Tower one. Best value for the money I've ever seen. Surpassed my expectations in every respect. The breakfast is an unbelievable all you can eat buffet. Resembles brunch more than breakfast. All the amenities and Furnishings are spectacular. The lobby makes you feel like you've entered the Palace of royalty. The swimming pool is also very lovely located between the towers. The restaurant has an outdoor patio overlooking the sidewalk with live music at night. The Seedy-side reputation of Pattaya won't bother you at this location."
