Pangkor hotels & accommodations
This hotel is ideally located to explore Pangkor Island with a quick 10 minute trip on a ferry which is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Half price return ferry tickets available to guests. Superior accommodation compared to Pangkor island. Breakfast has good choices and evening meals are prepared fresh with a good variety at very reasonable rates. Hire a bicycl...
First things first, this is at best a three star resort overall. However due to the location and price, it easily made it the right choice for us. The resort is probably the newest on the island (but judging by the work going on all around, won't be for long) and this shows in the rooms, dining and particularly the pool area. The latter is excellent. Open 10-10 daily...
i came to this hotel with mixed feelings in the beginning because of some negative reviews in the agoda website. after all, the date i chose was a super peak time at pangkor (aidilfitri holidays -- the muslim people's celebration after a month of fasting) but surprisingly the service was quite fast. and despite the fact that the agoda voucher indicates that the room i ...
We arrived on Pangkor with the 7:30 am ferry. The receptionist and owner were very considerate as we had travelled all through the night from Kota Bharu to Lumut. We could check into our room straight away and received a complimentary breakfast on top of that. The room was perfect. Very clean and modern. The whole complex is very well looked after and the pool was exce...
I've promise Wan(Staff/Receptionist) that I will give a good review for Nipah Bay Villa. So Wan, I hope you're reading this. Here we go! I booked 2 Standard and 1 Deluxe Chalet, but I was given 2 Deluxe Chalet and 1 Standard with no extra fee. I called before and request if they can accommodate this 3 Chalet nearby to each other, and they really put an effort to make...
its nice but fishing wise not recommended so. otherwise very nice..the chalet right in front of sea so gives a different feeling.jetty to pangkor island is very near, walking distance only(jetty complex RM 14.00 (two way). staff is very friendly. The cafe food is not so nice need to improve the taste of it. for a big group this place is actually suits as cheap and comfo...
We booked Garden Villa Chalet. Arrived earlier than the check in time, to our surprise the room is ready for us although the hotel was almost full. Very smooth check in. Less than 10 minutes after we arrived, we already in the room. We don't expect much from this hotel as we are very well aware most of the hotels in Pangkor needs major refurbishment to be done. Althou...
There were 30 of us including senior citizens, baby, toddlers and young children 😄 I would like to thank PBVR for getting our room ready...all of the rooms ready when we arrived and this made me the happiest person in charge on that day 😄 Thank you to both of the receptionists for a kind assistance. The swimming pool was good. Kids enjoyed playing there..nearby to th...
It is one of the most original hotels you can find in Pangkor The Popular Beach called Nipah is a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Joe Fisherman Inn will give you the perfect Island experience. The owner explained us that the used materials are eco-friendly what is a nice touch. Besides the large pool (the one thing you want after a hot day at the beach),there is a big r...
We always enjoy Pangkor island as a stop off from K.L. to Penang , The pool here is great for the kids room was clean . The A/C was poor 1st night but room was changed the next day and was much better, as with most budget hotel nothing is perfect but this hotel was MORE than satisfactory thank you .
This will one of the best and budgeted hotel in Pangkor. Love the environment. It is convenient if you have rented motor or car.
Nothing much to say as i have been staying here every time visited to Pangkor Island. A nice place to stay with so many shops and stalls nearby.
This is the 1st time we are staying on Pangkor Island itself. The hotel itself is simple in its set up and rooms were clean & comfortable. Located a short taxi ride to Pekan Pangkor and within walking distance to Pantai Pasir Bongak with lots of eateries located nearby. Room was acceptable - clean and comfortable and it came with a simple local breakfast. Staf...
The best hotel in Pangkor. Good service and friendly staff. Rooms are very tidy and clean. Near to the beach
i arrived there at 26 April 2015 a 1pm and the check in time at 2 pm. However, the friendly staff allow me to check in early and allowed me to switch room which had the best view. the room has no tv but i do not mind because i spent most of my time outside. the chalet is not suitable for elderly due to its location that need you to climb up. breakfast is so-so but i do...
While seeking a place to stay online, didn’t took me long to shortlist, then eventually booked Hotel Nelayan... ... as it easily stood out from the rest of Pulau Pangkor‘s dated, tired and sometimes, dodgy accommodations on offer. Hotel location is near to KFC & 7-Eleven but a bit too far fro the beach. If you want to go to Pangkor, isn't beach is the reason? So walking to pasir bogak beach may take 15 minutes but if you take the taxi it will be 3 minutes. But pasir bogak beach is not the best. All the interaction are located at teluk nipah. So price wise maybe good but not a good location for P...
We stayed on Pangkor for 2 nights as our first stop in Malaysia. The budget beach resort looked like it might be a cheap but clean accommodation close to the beach. And this is what it is like! Only 5 minutes walk to the coral bay which is very beautiful and where you also find some beach restaurants. The room was easy but it really had all we needed for the shor...
Me and my friends stayed at vikri for 4 nites,i must say this is the best stay i had in pangkor,iv been to pangkor many times, vikri is very quiet, very friendly husband and wife owners, friendly staff and the best home made indian thosai with fish curry by the beach is something really u cant miss,we will surely recommend this place to all, vikri will be even better if th...

Location is on the side of the island with the locals and fishing boats. well worth the it to see the real heart of pangkor. The food is delicious and fish is right out of the sea. We felt at home for the few days we were there and recommend it to those who want to experience the real pangkor not just the hotel.
We chosed to stay at the Pangkor Guesthouse so we could experience the life in the local fishing village. It was a fantastic decision because over at the touristy beach areas, once the sun goes down, there really wasn't much happening unless you're at the hotel bar or something. The location of the guesthouse was central to many local food stalls that were super chea...
A nice place to stay in pangkor. a new building, nice pool. security is an issue vut i guess pangkor is small island.
Strategic location! We get in touch with Evolet after done booking. She is really helpful in providing all kinds of info to help our itinerary planning in Pangkor. She helped us to book the scooter and recommended delicious food around the town. Definitely will go back to her for the next visit to Pangkor!
I have no complains. Many owners should interact with tenants daily to see if there's anything needed to be done. Calls went unanswered. In hotels guests can always get in touch with the front desk easily.
really thumbs up to the owner who really give us 5 star services👍👍👍

Tan and Ling. Hammocks. Sunrise. Peace and friendly, clean beautiful surroundings. Location awesome .. and the local food close by amazing. I won't say that the HORNBILLS were as amazing as the hammocks. And that Tan and Ling are seriously the best hosts ever. I must say that if I return to Pangkor (well as a foreigner and having to leave with COVID 19 I don't know if ...

Amazing stay on Pangkor island. The owners were friendly and took a genuine interest in all their guests, wanting everyone to have the best stay possible. The whole place is immaculately clean. We head to Pangkor Laut because we felt that we deserve the best place(yes we escaped from a mosquito nest in one of the hotels in pasir bogak beach) Absolutely love the service right from the beginning of the trip, at the jetty in marina island to the end of our stay. Shop for souvenirs: You can shop for Pangkor and Lumut souvenirs at the two stretches of shops at the jetty.
Need to build more good hotels and activity place in the island, if not there are not much things to to for families.
I was just in Lumut and did not cross to Pangkor. They have all the stuff I would get in Pangkor at the Lumut Waterfront so that is good.
Pangkor is a very natural sightseeing island, good for who like to play at beach. Nothing to shop and no nightlife at all.
A beautiful & peaceful island which u can enjoy all kind of sea water fun like snorkelling & diving. There are locak restaurant in the island as u can eat fresh seafood! Sightseeing for sure & nice resort around.
This island not very big, for me i think maximum 3 days 2 night will do. Advise to rent motorcycle so will be more easy go around.
Pulau Pangkor is a peaceful island, it is good for you to relax here and release your stress out from the city.
the main island is cheap comparing to pangkor laut where the island on its own. the city centre offers great variety of food and cultural.
It is a historic fishing village. Nice to adventure with only motorcycle and low cost both in rental and fuel.
Nothing special in Pangkor especially in town. Not many place of interest. Just beach and seafood attracting peoples.
the island near the mainland ,about 30 mins ferry.so can short weeknd relaxing. a lot of local product, like dried fish, charter to around the island about 70 rm
suitable for young couple who are on tight budget. one or two is enough. but i was expecting more fine dining here
Hated it. The whole population of tourists are muslim who seem to think its ok to stare at us because we were western.
Pangkor is a small island. There is not much to see. aA half day ride is sufficient. But if you take a boat island hopping and go snorkelling, then it is much more enjoyable.
Pangkor is a small island Perak. We can went to this island by ferry from Lumut jetty. Is takes about 20 minutes journey to this island.
Pangkor Island is a resort island off the coast of Perak, Malaysia. It has a population of approximately 25,000.
A very peaceful place to relex. Lots of interesting outdoor activities especially snookeling, island hopping, fishing and other sea activities.
Pangkor Island is a resort island off the coast of Perak, Malaysia. It has a population of approximately 25,000.
Pangkor Lau is better but if all is booked there Pankor island could be a good second choice. I liked the Anjungan Hotel cause it is quite isolated and very near to the sea.
The locals are very friendly, food is alright, many to choose of local cuisines and seafood restaurants and stalls, taxi drivers are friendly and so far none were dishonest on charging fee, they are consistent.
the restaurant chinese seafood quite famous and nice open sin 530pm but need to wait at least 1 hour.
Beside snorkeling or banana boat or jet ski, u can't do anything more in the island, this island is more about spend time when u 're boring
Go beach do snorkeling n jet ski, nightlife only one pub in town, whole pub only me n my wife, u can ask owner switch astro channel to watch movie
Pangkor island is nice to have a break from KL. Close located, it's easy to reach the place and the hotel are quite cheap during low season (not during special events).
Its a small island with semi-developed infrastructure. You can go around the island on rental bikes or taxi.
The beaches are nice and clean and a lots of water sports activities. There are also little islands where you can go by boat for snorkling or even fishing.
Most attractions here are small area, except Fu Lin Kong temple, there are 3 giant arapaima fish, they could have live longer than me.
PANGKOR IS A FISH VILLAGE, YOU CAN FIND A VERY FRESH SEAFOOD FROM THIS BEACH, THE ALSO SALE THE PROCESSED DRY FISH, SALTY FISH IS VERY FRESH AND TRADITIONAL HAND MAKE.
Small island but nice place. The transport is easy to get and valuable for money. The transport also very comfortable.
For those who like seafood, there are 2 famous restaurant near the ferry terminal which is Yee Lin and Coco&Karaoke.
