we booked 2rooms and were a group of 4gurls. we took the deluxe room facing the sea. i have been to malacca many many times for the past 20yrs, at least once a year, and this is the best best best hotel ever!!! stepping in, the decor blew me off. one of the hotel guys overheard my friends and i wondering where the lifts were to get to our rooms.. n he showed us the way without us asking. opened the lift door for us! when we reached our rooms, omg! we were amazed there were 2 flat screen tvs n even a couch! the decor is superb! modern fittings.. great bed.. lovely bathroom with choice to have a rain bath... im very picky with bathrooms.. n this is just great! water heater was hot n good! u can dim the side lamps.. they even had the option to listen to music on the tv.. great! breakfast is also great by malacca standards! the best breakfast i ever had! the guy cooks omelettes fresh for u.. reminded me of my thailand hotel stays. food is great! try their nasi lemak n curry chicken!! service is impeccable! they cleared our breakfast plates as soon as we were done with it. excellent service! the location is fantastic as well! just a 10-15min walk to jonker street, a 1 min walk to mahkhota parade shopping centre and it is also directly linked to the dataran megamall by an airconditioned bridge. overall, it was fantastic!!! had our new year countdown in my room.. tv fireworks food drinks great company... best stay in malacca in my entire 20yrs travelling there. it would be great if we could open the windows so we can really smell the sea.. n the aircon doesnt seem to set to 18deg but remained at 25degree. guess its the setting. other than that, no flaws! will definitely come back n i strongly recommend ppl to stay here!!!!

Been queuing for more then 40mit to check in (I arrived hotel lobby at 3.50pm, 6.20pm to reach my room)while my turn to check in was informed one room has been upgrade to hotel tower so we stay separate tower with my parents (I booked residence tower). Over all my stay here for one night experience, my advise for you don't book residence tower as even is new hotel but the room no well maintain and the most important the lift, oh my god this is so horrible!!! I bet 10 customer out of 9.5 are complaining the same problem of the lift! 1) we waited lift just get to our room for more then 15mit , trust me is more then 15mit, there is 6 lift on 3A(reception floor) but only 4 lift can access to residence room and the lift no air-con can you imagine from 3A to level 20th floor(the highest 42 floor) the lift are full and need to stop at almost every floor the smell of sweat in lift so disgusting !空气不流通 2) My hubby call housekeeping ask to send toothbrush set Coz there is no provide in our room and we been wait for more then 40mit . hello is 40mit ,just to get toothbrush !!!! Terrible! I do went to my parents room which in hotel tower at level 11 floor ,the room maintenance and housekeeping/room services and the most important lift much better and faster we ask for extra pillow send to room just within 10mit, same hotel same management but service so much different. 3) on the second day before check out i took shower and wash my hair after all only realize there is no hair dyer at room my hubby call again to house keeping ask for it and still waited for 20mit just to send one hair dyer, really fed up of it My advise to Swiss garden malacca management : Your staff are friendly and good smiling enough, first thing to change is the residence lift must have a solution to solve the main problem and hire more staff. I Will only be back after have improvement otherwise no way, same price we can have many option and better hotel in malacca.

This hotel is superb! Great location - close to center point (about 10 mins drive) and less traffic. Great room and ambiance with modern designs. Good food although would prefer to have wider range of selection for breakfast. As guest, you will also get a complimentary pass to the skydeck (44th floor) where you'll get the chance to view Melaka in 360'! The hotel sits above Element Mall with MBO Cinemas and others, but bear in mind that there's no much shop in the mall just yet. it shares same parking space with Double Tree & the mall hence do expect full parking at lower floors. All in all, WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK! Thanks!

We booked for a short family getaway to Malacca. Two Imperial Deluxe and 1 executive. The executive room was great, big enough for family of 3 but the room didn't have the floor mat for the toilet and my room had only the ironing board but not the iron so i had to borrow from other room. We got a free upgrade from Imperial to Heritage Deluxe. It was so spacious and was very thankful. However, we were told that there were no towels and the towels will be in by 8pm but when we were back from dinner, it was still not there. It was then sent to our rooms after prompting the reception desk. The staff that administered our reservation was kind and all smiles. When i requested for all 3 rooms to be at the same level, she was kind to look through her system to amend. Overall, we are happy with the services at the reception, the malls are just around the hotel, and Bandar Hilir was just a walk away. We will definitely come back to this hotel for our next visit to Malacca!

Full of Malay traditional design and arts, starting from the main entrance till the interior deco of the room. The room that we stayed in was spacious n clean. I really like the bathroom entrance, rarely found in other hotel. The Malay food n other cuisines served are delicious. Feeling so easy n calm with the Malay traditional music being played all the time in the hotel. Unfortunately, lack of staff during my stay, because nobody could help us carrying our luggage to the room. Even a single trolley or bellboy was not around to assist us during our arrival. Anyhow this may be improved n I can't wait for our next stay @ this Hotel in Malacca.

It is true that this hotel has the largest room in Malacca. Room is very comfy and facilities are good. Staff is very polite. Design is quirky and charming. A thing I want to note is you can tap into the carpark with your room key so it is very convenient rather than having to go to the counter to validate the parking ticket every time. Breakfast is standard for a 4-5 star hotel, still looking for a hotel in Malacca with a breakfast that awes.

Booked two rooms and we had a pleasant stay here. The car park is one of the best I've been to. Easy to access, airy, well-lit and with good security. The lobby is also VERY nice. It is categorised as 'only' a 4-star hotel. But Novotel is definitely way up there. We had standard rooms, not Executive or Suite, but these were more than good enough. Comfortable mattresses and pillows, and the bathroom was very clean. I wasn't aware when I booked, but Novotel is within walking distance to the classy malls. Not to mention various banks and ATMs. Get a room with a view of the Straits of Malacca and you've gotten added value. I'm giving only four stars because we didn't get the chance to try out the dining, and the various facilities. Maybe next time, because I will surely stay here again when in Melaka.

My bingo choice of stay at Malacca! Our family took a 2 night stay at the Philea Resort & Spa through Agoda. The checking in was hassle-free and the staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. Even the horticulturists there even offered their greetings although we did not expect any. The place was very nicely furnish and the log house has a pleasant scent of oak and felt very relaxing after a long drive from Singapore. We enjoyed the free Buggy ride which ferried us back and forth the reception and our room. Our kids loved it! Kept asking for the buggy ride and the buggy attendants are very friendly always chatting with our kids. Breakfast was good with decent variety of Oriental, American and Continental choice. Tip: If you want a breakaway from the bustling city life, this is the place to reside for your trip. The journey into Malacca town takes about 30 mins drive in if you do not mind the journey. The Philea Resort and Spa is located far away from the Malacca main shopping district near the Ayer Keroh Toll once enter from the NS highway.

My stay in this hotel was awesome. We found out the name of this Hotel : 1825 is the year of the building is built. Which mean this building is 190 years old. I came all the way down to Malacca from Singapore and i'm glad i made the right choice. First, this hotel is newly opened not more than 1 month so there is some sort of smell like the smell of the wood. It wasn't really a big deal. I also like the service they provided. Their receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Most importantly, the location there is very convenience. The famous stall that selling fried oyster omelet is just opposite the road site. The famous longkang lala&siham also nearby. Just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Of course the christ church is 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. The famous Jonker street The most famous night market in Malacca)is just 10 minutes walk away from the hotel there. We also went to the Dataran Pahlawan which nearby you can try taking the tricycle around there. I would highly recommend this hotel. Location, services, designs and the comfort. Everything just nice. Just the weather in Malacca very hot no doubt. i had been attracted by the : Lava Stones which decorated on the back wall of the building and internal wall.

the overall features of the hotel reserved unbiased praise from a night's stay we had recently. the well kept room was a selling point we had missed for a long time as a frequent travellers. the front desk staff are professionally well trained. being regular guests of hotels in malacca , we are convinced to remain royal to bayview hotel melaka for a long time to come.

I am stayed at the condo with kids..there was enough parking space. If u got ur own transport is the best to move around the resort. There are so many things to see and do here like water theme park, animal safaris and old west show at night. (Book online for the theme park and safari is more cheper) The food was nice too. I had a great view of the golf course from my condo. The receptionist Ms.Iman is so helpful and kind. Overall is good to stay here.

Hotel was newly built therefore it is definitely still pretty nice. I booked the Straits Suites and it was huge! downside was the balcony was locked and you are unable to get access, suspect they locked up due to safety issue. The place was just beside Hattan Square therefore it is quite centralised. Need to cut across a small dark alley from Hatten hotel to reach Straits. Felt quite unsafe walking through the alley. (Unless you drive around in Malacca) Carpark was easy to manoeuvre as compared to several other hotels. Friendly staffs, brighten up your stay in hotel. Did not provide most things in suite example : pots, bowls, eating utensils (So why you provide a stove to cook?) No hair dryer so beware ladies if you need 1. xD Feels more like you are at home, in a service apartment than a hotel. (Flooring is not those hotel carpet) I like. xD Thumbs up for the front desk ladies for the big smiles you gave me when checking in and out! I'm sorry I forget your name. ;(

It was the best so far in our lifes have been going for hols three to four times in a year for the past ten years n we never received a welcome like yours. The door men (2) their greetings made me feel wonderful n wanted then front office staff very good mannered n very helpful with so much of respect for us. Next day at the coffee again so plesent the staff warm welcome egg station staff the best very helpful all in we had a good bf with our table being constanly cleened of used plates. The most suprising part was when we were leaving our room on one coner n there was housekeeping staff in the other coner you know what they did ....wafe n were shouting at us good bye come again why should they even bother we only slept one nite n did not meet at all something about this hotel n the staff is so good makes u to feel at home n want to make u come and stay with them again been to malacca so many times how did I not see Avillion so clean n so peaceful inside.The mangment staff must be taking good care of their staff for them to be like that to their guest which is very hard to get these days my only wish please keep up the very good work that u all are doing. (For ur info I have stayed in hoilday inn too but...) Best wishes to all of you will come to stay there again n for longer stay this time.

- great, great location - right gobsmack in the centre of ayer keroh - surrounded by tourist attractions in ayer keroh; zoo melaka, butterfly park, crocodile park, taman malaysia, etc - surrounded by shops, markets, mamak places and facilities outside the hotel - very near to ayer keroh toll plaza - close to other commercial areas and shopping malls which have karaoke, cinema, shooting range, food stalls & restaurants, shops, funfair, clubs, etc - food and service are good - the hotel is quite cozy, clean, quaint and peaceful - close driving distance to jasin, melaka city, batu berendam airport & other places in melaka - one of the best places to stay in ayer keroh - definitely one of the best value-for-money hotels in melaka

My wife and I spent 4 nights in The Sterling Boutique Hotel in Malacca in mid-April 2019. Superb value at a low cost. Extremely large and bright well-appointed suite-style rooms. Jacuzzi-style bathtub-shower complicates showers though water flow excellent. Staff cheerful and helpful. Good breakfasts I attractive roof top setting. Superb location very short walk from major museums, historical points of interest, Jonker Way and Melaka River. The Sterling was highly recommended to us and we certainly will recommend it highly to any visitors to Malacca.

It took us a while to check in as it has a very small reception, probably as it did not have as many rooms. The guests before us had some deposit issues and the staff (trainee) was unable to handle very well. Although they had up to 2 other staff arrived to handle that issue, they completely ignored us until I insisted to be served and checked in. Rooms are truly spacious and luxuriously decorated but one of the rooms had bad smell emanating from the toilet. I wonder if it is becos hotel was converted from old shophouses. Anyhow, we are quite happy with the rooms so we didn't make an issue out of it. One of the rooms had a huge bed, bigger than a king-sized bed, comfortably sleeping 3-4 persons. Hotel was well located, most places was walking distances away n not too near crowded or noisy places. We walked everywhere to explore the heritage and historical sites. They served set breakfast and their restaurant faces the river, which was lovely to have a meal in the morning as it was very nice, charming and breezy and during the night for beer or wine. Staff are warm and friendly, just maybe not as well trained. Perhaps a professional Manager doing his rounds will help improve matters n straighten out their priorities. We love this hotel and if we ever return to Malacca, this with definitely be our choice stay.

Overall, I find my stay quite pleasant. The hotel is looks pretty close to a 4 star hotel if they could add 1-2 more plug points and have a door to their cupboards. The choice of food is fair and nice but preferably if they could add some Malaccan cuisine would be appreciated. The hotel is chosen relatively because it is near to our working site, the Orand Asli Museum which is also nearby the Crocodile Park and Malacca Zoo. The hotel may wish to add a signboard near the roundabout at the planetarium as we miss the turning there on our way to find the hotel.

Very impressed with their front desk staff. Cass & Minni led by manager Jackie were very warm from checkin when Cass personally brought us to our room to our time of checkout. The furnishing in our large room was befitting a Five Star hotel as everything was brand new. We have recommended SGI Hotel to all our friends. However, there is no coffeehouse for guests to have breakfast or a quick bite but I understand this is in their plans. Cass recommended several excellent restaurants closeby within 10 mins walking range which we tried to our delight. Using Grab transport can get you anywhere in Malacca & fares are cheap. Will plan to stay longer next time round !

Excellent, very fast check in time, according to my wife receptionist very friendly and very helpful, once check in 1st impression the room is very nice and comfortable enough for my family, surprisingly the breakfast is better than few hotel in Malacca, very tasteful and lots of choices. On top of that Euro rich hotel Malacca very near to the shopping mall and food center that where you can heavenly shopping and eating as well. Last but not least value for money!!!

It was Chinese New Year and I was expecting a whole load of customers and will take a long time to check in. Surprisingly, I was wrong. The staff made an effort to serve us as fast as they could. Knowing we were not good in conversing in Bahasa Malaysia, they spoke to us in fluent English, which is very comforting. They even played Chinese new year songs to drive up the atmosphere. The wifi is also good, can even access it in my room to upload photos to instagram instantaenously. The place itself was also very spacious. It was very good to get around to the Malacca city for shopping. :)

We were so impressed with The Blanc that we decided to stay again. So nice to be recognised by Agnes and her team. Unbeatable warmth and welcome. Super clean hotel with crisp white linen and sheets. With an 83 yo mom, the location is excellent and Jonkers St and its highlights just out of your door. But what took the cake was when we left some stuff behind and Agnes contacted me enquiring how they can return it to us. Truly, it is the attention to detail that makes Blanc Hotel my first choice hotel in Malacca. Cannot recommend it more. You must stay to believe!

The Seri Malaysia Hotel is the best choice when you're in Malacca. It is situated around the Taman Mini Malaysia, Zoo Malacca, Mydin Hypermarket and more interesting places to visit. The hotel is also very comfortable. The pollside available here is very suitable for my kids. Furthermore, I just can't forget the delicious food served here. I'm happy and satisfied the 2 nights stayed in Seri Malaysia Ayer Keroh!

The room is spacious.....fit for family like us. But the problem only about the bathroom door knob that was damage. U cant lock the bathroom door. There Breakfast was superb. Friendly staff. This hotel doesnt has any bellboy. The security guard that will pick up your stuff to the hotel room. Anyway....its worth staying here with the price you pay. Affordable & spacious. Definately will stay here again if I come to Malacca next time.
