Find Hotels in Lopburi, Thailand

This is a great place to hang out and chill. There are bicycles and canoes to use for free. The food is a bit pricey (as expected at a resort) but tasty. There are other food options just outside the gate (walking distance) or a few km to the next town. The only downside is if you want to go site seeing, there aren't many sites (or sights) close by. Lopburi is about an hour away. Staff were super friendly. The first 2 days the place was quite empty but then it filled up. We would have stayed longer if we could have.

This hotel is relatively new (opened in 2015, I think). The room we had was squeaky clean. The entire property seems to be very-well taken care of. The hotel staff was both extremely friendly and helpful. The only potential fly in the ointment is that the breakfast is Thai only. No western offerings, so if you can't handle spicy-hot food, you may want to make other arrangements for breakfast. The hotel is almost exactly between two Big C stores/malls on the main street in front of the hotel, so if you're up for about a 650-meter walk in either direction, you will find lots of choices for food.

as a 12 year resident of thailand, i have the opportunity to travel extensively in country. this hotel is exactly my kind of place to stay - parking right at your front door. no need to go through a lobby with a million eyes staring at you day and night. the hot water is wonderful (boiler system not a small electric water heater like most places) and you can have endless baths in the big tub. the a/c works even while you're out which is nice - no need to come back to a hot and stuffy room. the rates on agoda are the way to go - you can book for around 900 thb versus the walk-in rack rate of and up they advertise at the front desk. i had to extend my stay a few times while here and just booked online with agoda each time and kept my same room the entire stay. internet is not free, but at 100 baht for a 24 hour voucher it's not a bad deal either - some thai hotels charge that much per hour! all in all, a nice place to stay in lopburi. didn't get a chance to use the pool but looks nice and lots of foreigners hanging out enjoying the water. only downside is the doors close very, very loudly and i addressed this issue through a customer comment card - hope they can do something to fix that as it will wake you up if you're a light sleeper.

We spent 3 nights here with our 10 & 6 year old daughters. During this time, we spent one day just at the farm. This day was possibly the highlight of our entire trip to Thailand for our children. They got to play with animals, ride horses & buffalo, make clay items, and just relax. The second day, we took the train to Lopburi for the monkey ruins experience. The train to Lopburi from the farm costs just 2 Baht per person! It was VERY hot here in March, but the rooms were nice and cool. The farm has everything a traveler needs, including cold drinks and a full restaurant.

On arrival at Lopburi train station called hotel who arranged transfer to hotel about 1.2k away. After check-in asked about motorbike hire. Hotel owner drove us to place could hire motorbike. We were now mobile and left to our own devices exploring the wonderful town of lopburi and surrounding areas. After long day found thai bar with music. Having a good night which got better when hotel manager joined us for a drink. Friendly entertaining guy. Windsor Hotel highly recommended.

We absolutely loved Lopburi Palm Resort. The grounds are gorgeous, with beautiful palms and greenery covering the property. We learned that the owner planted every tree 30 years ago, which makes it even more beautiful. The room is amazing... you walk in and just sigh with bliss. The room is modern and extremely clean. The bed is heavenly. The bathroom is big and excellent. We seriously just loved this place. The owners/staff are incredible. They were willing and available to help with anything and were always so kind. They helped us figure out where the best sunflower fields were and even gave us a ride to the train station. We loved renting the little scooter and rode it everywhere. I can't recommend this place enough. Please book more than one night, you'll be so glad you did. FYI- breakfast is self-serve in the garden and consists of yogurt, coffee or tea, toast and chicken rice soup which I happened to end up loving!

Lovely seating area in the back (very green). We stayed in the sunflower room which had 2 fans and free tea or coffee. The staff was really nice and helpful and the showers and toilets were very clean! Everything in Lopburi is really close (3mins from the train station), no more than 7mins walking. The food and drinks are expensive but there are lots of other options nearby (try the street food near the station!) Would definitely recommend!

We were in town for a wedding and chose to stay at the Home Place. The staff was very thoughtful and helpful. The room was spacious and super clean. Our first night we were able to upgrade to a VIP suite which was super! The hotel is a little out of the way, but no problem for us since we had a private car. I don't know that it would be within walking distance of attractions. The units on the upper floors are rented by the month. Because we were booked on two nights when soccer team members were staying on the lower floors, we were moved to an upper floor where the occupants were quiet and courteous. Breakfast of soupy rice, salad, and toast was provided, but Western guests will probably want to order something different at a minimal charge. The staff at the front desk was very accommodating. We would stay here again.

The hotel was new and clean. It is unusual in Thailand to find the fridge and TV disconnected from power. A cold drink is the first thing you want in LopBuri. I don't know if I would pay for breakfast. There was instant coffee and toast and soy milk. Reception is hit and miss - when we checked in there was zero English and they got me to email my agoda confirmation. Next morning the owner/manager spoke to us in good English.

Rooms are neat and modern with horses hanging around on the property! The resort is located a bit far on a small road, but this makes you closer to a small dam which offers a nice sunset. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at ease. The breakfast was delicious; boiled rice with loads of pork plus two toasts. There are 2 restaurants on the road near the resorts and a night market down the road. You can venture 2 more kilometers near the main intersection with lots of food over there!

A nice hotel with a very unusual design. A design that I have never experienced before in any hotel that I have ever been in before. The staff were very pleasant and the gardens were also different. But my question would be, why would anyone want to stay in a hotel that is situated in the middle of nowhere with no bars and only one reasonable restaurant more than 55 kilometres from the nearest big town i.e. Lopburi.. The hotel is clean, simple and value for money. The location though is quite some distance from the city centre. It will be good if the hotel can provide links to car rental services. The staff are friendly and helpful but they speak limited English...it will be good that the hotel can provide more English information such as sunflower field trip, etc. Overall it's a great stay as the hotel is clean and nice..I would recommend a stay here if you are in Lopburi.

The Lopburi Inn Hotel is looking a little tired compared to what must have been its hey day, but the staff are friendly and very helpful, the rooms clean and great service. Breakfast is a good variety of hot and cold foods. A HUGE plus since my last visit is the hi speed WiFi they now offer free. As I need to be in touch with my remote staff and clients it was a big bonus compared to having to be on my own internet service in the past which was slow. Across the road is an Olympic size swimming pool open Tuesday to Sunday (closed Monday). Great for the exercise or for the kids. The hotel itself is not close to shops or facilities but well serviced during the day with baht taxis (8 baht by day and 10 baht evenings) but they stop running about 9pm. There's also small baht buses and of course taxi motor bikes. There's the Lopburi Zooo to visit as well as many temples, the monkeys and the original Parliament complex.

The location on right on Highway 1 might be a turn-off for some as rooms can be noisy all day and night but the friendly staff and Thai-style wooden decor make us feel right at home. Rooms, though clean and comfortable, are not very large with (in the case of superior double)an awkward layout of the bathroom which, if not locked, can be entered from outside. On the positive side, WiFi works well, there is 24-hour security, and the spa is professionally run even if it is situated in a separate pavilion even closer to the busy main road. Yet the best of all is plentiful breakfast; the owners really know where to get the best local food in Lopburi. Even in Bangkok, it's difficult if not impossible to find the coconut milk-based khanom sai sai (ขนมใส่ไส้) more memorable than those served at Pak Lopburi.

Most important, this is not a hotel,it's an apartment. And it's near impossible to find as taxi and motorbike taxis cannot find it SO KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS. To find it get to Phaya Tai BTS station and when you are at road level stand by the up escalator that leads back to the station. Look behind you just a few steps away you should see a building called Phayatai Plaza. If you do not, then cross the road and start again. You will see a pair of car barriers and a small white security hut. Walk straight through where the barrier is and straight down the service road for about 100m. You come to Pattayatai Condominium reception. Go in and the owners will greet you and take you to room. The apartment has a kitchen, lounge, bedroom, en-suite and extra wet room. The furnishings are typical Thai apartment ones and are functional. there is a flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi.Being right by Phaya Tai station you can easily get the train to the airport.It's very good value, but be patient trying to locate it!
