Hamilton hotels & places to stay

Stayed here for the long weekend as my fiancé had a training course to attend in Hamilton. Free parking was a major plus. Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, even when we left his uniform behind and had to have it couriered to us. Did not use gym or pool (it was winter). Breakfast was mostly variations on toast and cereal which was a little disappointing but...

The motel is located on top of the hill and just across the road from the Hamilton Lake. About 15 minute walk to the CBD. The room is spacious and has all the things you need for your stay. I love how big the bathroom is and they also have a spa in the bathroom. The motel is clean and have plenty of carparks during our stay. I would definitely recommend this place.

Travelling whole north island i would put this one at number one for value . Huge rooms clean and cosy. Spa bath And the staff were amazing. ? 91 could not belive it. Walked to hamilton central. It's a muddy stay. Amazing

rooms are big and clean, and have a almost full facility kitchen- 4 cooking stoves, clean pots and pans, plates and bowls, and cutlery, all off which are clean and still look relatively new. I stay in this motel every time I travel to Hamilton (6 times so far) and it is consistently good value for money. Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, great location: walking distance to CBD, restaurants and shopping. Flat screen TV with good selection of channels and comfortable working desk with plenty of space and lots of power points to plug laptop...

Every thing you want - a very large house, quiet, quality, great location directly opposite the lake, BUT - be aware, the price is quoted in US$ not NZ As there is no signage, it is also difficult to find - make sure you take the street number.

We enjoyed our night at the Aspen because it was so convenient. With Hamilton East just down the road there was a range of food options within easy walking distance. The unit was spacious with comfortable chairs to relax on. The complimentary tea making facilities were appreciated. Everything available to make our stop over pleasant.

Great location with welcoming owners/staff. The executive unit was beautifully appointed, spacious and with lovely decor. The bathroom was luxurious with a nice selection of toiletries. The whole unit was immaculately clean and spotless. Loved our stay there! Highly recommend!

I can only say, this is a hotel-standard motel! The room is spotlessly clean, very modern bathroom and has everything we need! The bed is also super comfortable! There’s really nothing to fault about this motel. Will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Hamilton!

Really spacious. Agoda price was cheaper than direct price. Clean and orderly but did smell (carpet, bedcovers and curtains need deodorising). Staff helpful.
