Granada hotels & accommodations
When you go to a City like Granada you want to be in the thick of it and you cannot get a hotel in a better position than this one, Its on one of the main squares in town with a balcony from which you can view all the action. We even had a big screen Opera concert going on in the square on the Saturday night which we watched from our balcony the best seats in the hou...
very comfortable place to stay in Granada. Can walk everywhere from here and with the help of the hotel staff you can plan your whole trip when you arrive. the rooms are very clean and has a feel of a boutique hotel. The shower didn't work the morning we left but they fixed it in no time and before we checked out we had a warm shower. Made me feel like whatever problem...
We got the bus from Seville to Granada then a local bus to a stop a very short walk to the hotel. The location is perfect for touring the city with a short walk to some attractions or bus stops. There are many local restaurants to choose from. The room was large and well appointed. Noise was a minor problem. The air conditioning worked well so we could keep windows clo...
Most enjoyable stay. Love Granada and this hotel is right in the middle of everything. There is a Tapas bar just around the corner from the front door in Calle Cetti Meriem (first bar opposite hotel towards Calle Elvira) which has magnificent Tapas for 2 euros and that includes a glass of beer or wine. We only discovered it on our last night, after eating so-so food...
Fontecruz Hotel really completed our stay in Granada. It was a wonderful hotel. Our room had a balcony that opened to Via Maria which was really nice. The room was comfortable, and a good size compared to other hotels we have stayed at in Europe. The bathroom was huge, clean and nicely lit. It had a bathtub and a standing shower, two sinks. Towels smelled really nice a...
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Vincci Granada Hotel. We only stayed overnight as a stopover from the mountains and on our way to Madrid. We have the best breakfast in Spain. I will recommend this hotel to our friends.
Our first visit to Granada and most definitely not our last. We loved the city and it’s vibrancy. The draw for us was to visit the Alhambra Palace and the Washington Irving hotel is in a prime location , hence our decision to book it. The hotel is a stones throw from the entrance and within walking distance to the city centre. The hotel has a lovely boutique feel about...
The staff was wonderful and superbly helpful. Ana emailed me once booking was confirmed to assist me with the check-in and transit from the airport. Anas made check-in process a breeze. He provided us with the information needed to manage our 2 nights stay. He always speaks with a smile and the service seems sincere. The apartment was how I expected it to be (being in...
This is one of the most spectacular of the Parador hotels. Definitely worth the premium cost if you're going to see the Alhambra - the hotel is one of the historic buildings that make up the fortress. A beautiful space, small but well appointed rooms, excellent service, very special. Easy to walk down the steep hill into Granada - if you're not up to it, cabs are alway...
This hotel is gorgeous and is situated in the best location I can think of in Granada - middle of Albycin district, close to the Plaza Nueva, walking distance to Sacromonte and 20min walk to the Alhambra. At the same time it is quiet. The building itself is beautiful and sets the tone for your stay in Granada. The staff are wonderfully helpful and will go above and be...
Brilliant hotel. Stayed on the 8th floor of 10. Cracking views! The Spa was brilliant. Turkish bath was epic! The type of hotel you'd expect Simon Cowell to stay at! The shower had multiple shower heads to be blasted at all angles. Rooms were massive and literally couldn't fault a thing! Also, literally city centre based. Just a 5 min walk away.
Sad to leave we loved our stay at the Hesperia Granada Hotel. Our only complaint was that our GPS did not get us anywhere near the hotel, and 1 1/2 hours later we found it. Suggestion is if you are driving into a medieval city and have booked a hotel in the centre, ring the hotel and get directions before you enter the city. Our hotel, once found, was charming, park...
Stayed here for two nights on a five night trip to Andalusia. My boyfriend and I loved it! Great value for money with the included breakfast, which was wonderful - omelette cooked to order and plenty of choice. The location is in the heart of Albacin, only a short 10 minute walk from the centre of Granada. If you have a car, the streets leading up to the hotel are very...
We had issues with our luggage arriving and the staff at Hotel Triunfo helped us along every step of the way. They were friendly and courteous and made sure our stay was comfortable. We would recommend this place for anyone considering to travel to Granada :)
If you want a place that will enable to be at the heart of Granada yet in a quiet back street, then, this is the place to choose. Being Winter, we couldn't make full use of the delightful courtyard but it provided an excellent setting to start and end each day as we discovered all the Granada has to offer; Alhambra being the highlight as far as we were concerned. The r...
This hostel is situated in a good area, with all kind of shops and bars. The room was clean, the recepcionists are cool, and the price very cheap. So this is a good hostel to stay and to enjoy the city.
The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Granada and rooms are of a good standard and cleanliness. The breakfasts were disappointing for a 4 star hotel and bar / restaurant staff were less than attentive and lacking the personal touch. Reception Staff were the one exception to this. I've rated a 4 for value for money but this is because we benefitted from ...
The hotel was situated 5 minutes away from Barcelona Sants station, and above a Supermercado, which was great! We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable overlooked a small park behind it. It was not in the city centre, so we appreciated the peace and quiet at night. Breakfast was not too bad -- had quite a good selection of bread, pastries, c...
This hotel is in a busy area, but was quiet and comfortable inside. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable. Some hallway carpets needed attention. Our room was clean and comfortable.
Location is good! Surrounded by the restuarants and places of interests. About 25 mins walk to Granada Station and walking distance to the Airport Bus-stop.
Hotel located in old town and a bit different to find. I recommend park at hotel and take taxi around as streets are very narrow. Upside is the hotel next to great shopping, restaurants and etc. Downside is hotel next to many restaurants and shopping and it's a bit noisy. You can get great reasonable cost breakfast at hotel cafe in the morning. We really liked it. Hote...
We booked this at the last minute, as we were traveling without a concrete plan. Had it not been a last minute booking, we would not have chosen this place, as there are clearly other options that provide a better value. For the price, the amenities were rather disappointing. The rooms were small and dark and a bit dated. I'm not sure why this is considered a 4 star ho...
We were on a leisure trip for 3 nights. Can't say a bad word about the hotel, rooms were quite big and clean, quiet, well ventilated, bathroom large, nice personnel, parking at hotel, buffet breakfast, good access on roads, and good bus connections to Granada center in less than 10min for 1,2e. Surrounded in a suburban neighbourhood, with only very few restaurants or b...
Staffs are nice. Bar/restaurant is tasty. you can drink till midnight which feels Spain. And not only young guests were there.
Been to Sercotel La Lunda Hotel in August 2017 for a short trip in Granada. Hotel looks from inside perfect, parking is NOT NORMAL expensive. They are asking €44,- for three days parking. City is a little 25 minutes walk, would not recommend if you are planning to go more times to the city. Nevada Shopping Centre with the car around 8 minutes and Al Hambra a short 15 m...
Overall good, except that there is a big and long construction site running now (April 2012). Free wifi might not work in some room due to lack access points. Good to stay if you travel by car and don't want to get in city with many one way streets.
The Elvira Suites were a great location for accessing many of the major attractions in Granada. And the staff, especially Christina, were so helpful. I would recommend this hotel as a great base from which to see Granada. Excellent all around.
Rooms need tlc Carpets are old as are the bed sheets And towels I got special Off season rate I wouldn’t have been happy had I paid full rate ...value would have been right down
Cheap places to stay in Granada
It is a vey cheap hostal located in a very central location in Granada. The hostel is very small with only a kitchen and the rooms. The staff is very friendly. The WIFI barely reaches the rooms, so you must go to the first floor at the kitchen.
Nice hostel in the center of Granada, near Puerta Real. Very clean, friendly staff at reception. All shared rooms have their own bathroom with toilet and shower, additional toilet and shower on every floor. Every floor has it's own fully equipped kitchen with washing machine. Tea and coffee and basics like salt, pepper, olive oil etc. are for free. Nice common room on ...
No one help you do the check in after 8:30pm, so you need to make sure you receive their email which give you instruction how to do it. And the rook is very hot , though each bed has a very small fan. The location is very good , a lot of restaurant nearby.
A great hostel, not an apartment. Hence I felt a little disappointed, although we were provided a large hostel room which can sleep more than 8 persons. If you are interested to interact with many young international guests in a hostel environment in Granada, then this hostel would be great. The staff is very friendly, helpful and speaks great English.
Staffs are nice. Bar/restaurant is tasty. you can drink till midnight which feels Spain. And not only young guests were there.
Frank was very welcoming and he made sure he will provide assistance whatever we need. The room was very clean and sheets were clean. The toilet was clean too. There were more than enough clean towels provided in the room. Location was very accessible.
you are in the centre of old Granada, near to Alhambra, rooms are small and not so comfortable, staff do not speak english
Very central, really cheap. Staff are excellent very welcoming and very knowledgeable.
I have arrived the hotel in the morning, but I could do check-in. I took a sleeping train to granada, so It was for me so nice that I could take a rest. The hotel is in a good relation and easy to find. The room was acceptably clean. No air-conditioner but a fan. I had just a night stay but I was satisfied.
From the time we walked in the owner was very nice and helpful. It felt like you were visiting a family member. She got us situated, gave us some recommendations on restaurants and send us on our way. Everything is walkable, the malls, grocery store is about a block away, malls is about 800m, restaurants all around and of course the main attractions such as the museum...
I stayed for one week during a conference. the room was nice, some noise from the street on Friday and saturday but otherwise quiet. The staff was very friendly, helped charge my cell phone. Internet was fast, I could Skype without problem. And it was about half the price as most other hotels.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Vincci Granada Hotel. We only stayed overnight as a stopover from the mountains and on our way to Madrid. We have the best breakfast in Spain. I will recommend this hotel to our friends.
This hostel is situated in a good area, with all kind of shops and bars. The room was clean, the recepcionists are cool, and the price very cheap. So this is a good hostel to stay and to enjoy the city.
we are stayed only two nights. it was clean, nice, with small balcony =) and bathroom in the number. there is restaurant in the 1st floor of this hotel - as a plus.
Such a comfortable bed, with a wonderfully convenient location. We didn’t get free breakfast despite staying 3 nights, as mentioned by my Frommers guide book but it’s not a big deal as the room was incredibly comfortable! We will definitely stay here again!
A good stay. The room was quite small but was clean and well equiped.Great location and walking distance to central Granada and the shops and restaurants.
it was located at the hill area closed to la alhambra. not easy to find it for the condition of Granada georaphy. if you can take the bus 30 it will lead you right at the front access to the hotel, station name Millois 2. even though i still enjoy my sightseeing and have a short but good enough stay there
We stayed for two nights at Hotel Granada Centro and couldn't be happier. The morning receptionist was incredibly helpful and gave us great information about the city. The hotel itself is super central but not on the main road (so not too much noise at night), and most places are within walking distance (transport only needed to get to station and airport). For a gre...
At first we planned one night stand in Cedran hotel in Granada, but later we desided to stay for two nights. That is because I had two bookings at the same place, and now have to write feedback two times. Really, I liked hotel, location and price. It was a very good choice!
Best Points - Vey good for the price, Quiet area of Granada, Superb bathroom and modern decor with air conditioning, Free car park. Friendly helpful hotel staff. Bad Points - Very very slow WiFi, bad smell from the air condition air (pee pee) Cigarette smoke entering the room from smokers outside the hotel main entrance.
This hotel was the warmest in Spain I've visited in winter. The people in here was very kind. I strongly recommend this hotel in Granada. The place is also very easy to find and convenient to use the bus.
My friend suggested me to stay at this hotel because it's in the centre of the city and easy to reach by airport bus. I arrived in Granada very late and was afraid that I would get difficulties to find this hotel. But everything went well...it's on the Gran Via main street....so easy to spot it from the bus and some cafe/shops are open till late. For a traveller who ne...
It is quite easy to drive to this 3 stars hotel, at a very decent building with 24 hours front desk services. Parking is anywhere outside the hotel. Room size is relatively small, but very comfortable. We skipped breakfast but for those who are interested, this hotel has café, offering breakfast for 4 euro.
We had a comfortable enough stay here and the manager is very friendly and helpful. No lift, it is on second floor, manager does help.

I think clearness is the most important things to choose to stay in for a hotel , we loved this hotel , it is really clean and bright but the location is a bit far away from the spot , we need to take taxi , the taxi fee is cheap in Granada , not expensive compare to other cities in Europe .
perfect location for access to granada city and its sights, all within walking distance. also a great base for access to the ski resort of sierra nevada, we we well on our way within minutes of leaving the hotel car park. the spa was great to use after a hard days skiing/shopping. we will use this hotel again next year for our ski and sightseeing trip.
a wonderful time in a superb hotel! fantastic location and very friednly staff. The rooms are elegant and comfortable. The location is near the center of the city and the Alhambra, just walking (a very beautiful walk).
very lovely place to stay! am glad i booked this hotel. if i come to granada which i think i will again, will definitely like to stay over again in this hotel. staff at the reception speaks good hotel and is only 10 minutes walk away from main city-centre. also there are restaurants nearby where really good tapas is served.
We really liked this hotel - its location near the Alhambra meant we could easily attend the evening visit - ending at 11.30 pm - as well as wander through the open areas during our free time. The Green train on our doorstep also meant easy connections with the rest of Granada. The hotel was excellent; the facilities really were good, the pool very welcome in the 35 C ...

Excellent city hotel close to all the shops and restaurants. Built in an old monastery but with high standard of rooms and bathroom. We had a superior room with a large rooftop balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. The room was quiet and perfect. Large windows and very comfortable bed. Aircon worked perfectly - not too cold and not too hot. Breakfast was excellent -...
Arrived and quickly checked in the reception organised valet parking (€24 per day)which is important in Granada as driving is not encouraged around this city with many restrictions on driving in city centre, in fact if I come back I will use train etc as once I parked my car I never used it till I left. Very friendly amenable staff checking in, the room we had was a ve...

We only stayed here for a couple nights, but I would easily stay here longer. If you love food, history and culture, its a great place to just kick back and chill.
Wow! Wow! and Wow! Great place to wander about and wonder about all the great architecture and rich history.
Granada is a very small city - one whole day would be enough to cover all the major sights but if you are here for the Alhambra only just come as a day trip.
Granada is a beautiful city. You can see the snowcapped mountains of the Sierra Nevada in the horizon.
beautiful city with lots of attractions. nice hill view, worth staying a bit longer (at least 2 nights probably), very regretful we only have 1 night there
The name Granada can be coupled with Grand. A lovely, charming, historical city, with modern amenities, vibrant lifestyle, and has everything that an explorer of Europe would hope to see.
Dress warm it is near the mountains very beautiful city. Lots of places to walk and to shop. Lovely scarves and costume jewellery also shoes.
multicultural tourist town...the town has preserved its various eras and differnt cultures...loves the smell of the natural teas.
This city is full of mystery and you really need a long time to find out with the interesting culture.
Beautiful city with plenty of history and things to see especially the Sierra Nevada and the Alhambra Palace
Granada is possibly the cleanest city with the friendliest inhabitants that I have ever visited. There is much to see if you are a tourist (Alhambra, Abayzin, Sacromonte etc.
Life is pretty relax and the city is well organised. Moving with public transport was easy. Located for easy travel to Malaga and Cordoba.

OMG I am in love with this city. Alhambra is outstanding its view from Saint Nicolas is beautiful like all the area of this church.
Avoid going in Summer if you would like to see Alhambra extensively, also, buy ticket at least a day ahead unless you don't mind to get up at 6 to line up.
From madrid, you can use Alsa bus. The last bus depart 18:30 and arrive Granada 23:30. From the bus stop at Granada, taking taxi to city center costs around 10euro.
The moorish contribution to Granada and the reconquista afterwards shaped the culture and way of life people here.
A very interesting city, with intesting monuments in the city center, a unique neighborhood with old Mediterranean style houses(Albaicin)and the fabulous palace (Alhambra).
Lots of walking, but lots to see. Definitely take several of the routes of the mini-buses for a cheap tour of the city.
Granada is an Arab-Islamic Mediterranean mountain city with a liberal southern European attitude. The Alhambra fort and palaces are the main draw, a beautiful set of red structures on the foothills of the snowtopped Sierra Nevada.
The pleasures of Granada are based mainly on its buildings and cityscape. Obviously the Alhambra is a must for all tourists - not just the buildings but also just strolling around the site and seeing the gardens.
Comida estupenda, vida diurna y nocturna parece Valencia en Fallas, siempre hay gente paseando por las calles.
Granada is a clean, neatly organised and well set out city. The buses and taxis are efficient. The architecture is appealing with its Spanish arches and cupid decorations.
