Where to stay in Dusseldorf
Dusseldorf hotels & accommodations

Hotel was better than the reviews I read. Location is nearby a lot of Asian restaurants, walking distance to Altstadt. Bed is comfortable and no water stuck on the floor. Check in and out was good and efficient. However, I wish they provide toiletries in the bathroom. Good hotel, will stay there again if I'm in Dusseldorf

The hotel was overall a good choice, and pretty good value for the money (I'd heard Dusseldorf is one of the most expensive parts of Germany). I didn't use the spa/health center but I suspect this would have made it an even better value as there is a pool and sauna. The room wasn't too small either, there were two beds right next to each other, plenty of space to walk...

it is behind the Dusseldorf HBF, and just next to the U bahn station, but it is very quiet location, there is a park next to it, so view is very good(park view), hotel is new and clean. breakfast is great. staff friendly. but wifi account only accept one device to connect. if you want to stay near HBF but need quiet place, here it is.

Staff are excellent. The rooms are bit small and the pillows are from feathers and not comfortable at all, The corridor is like a museum with a lot of historical things in a glass which I don’t feel comfortable to stay in or sleep in a place like this, Its just not my taste and didn’t like the decoration. Minimum options in the breakfast and no live station. The locat...

I stayed here after a business meeting ahead of a flight home. The hotel is nicely designed, clean and very comfortable. It is an easy ride on the tram from the central station. It is next to a busy road but you hear nothing of this once inside your room. The rooms are quite spacious [especially for the price] although the bathroom was quite small. If I come back ...

Great location - just 5 min walk from the main station, about 20 min walk from Konigsallee. Free WiFi with good signal. Free breakfast - not plenty but good enough to start your day. Clean room, clean bed sheet and clean towels. The staff at the reception (both day and night) are all very nice and helpful. The only little drawbacks are the tiny bath tub, and the...

We booked this hotel coming from a 15day European vacation which culminated with a flight home from Dusseldorf. Hotel is very new, has a gym and pool. We were upgraded to the top floor given we requested for ajoining rooms. Staff was very friendly and accommodating! Airport terminal C is just a 3 minute walk and it has restaurants and a grocery.

A good hotel for a short stay. The receptionnist was very welcoming and friendly (vielen danke !) I booked a room for two and it was a very good room, new, modern and clean. The hotel is not very close to downtown but since we had a car it was very easy for us (so with a car you can't go wrong !)

Hello, I was from Singapore, stayed this hotel for 6 nights. Hotel location is very near to the train station Oststrasse and Dusseldorf Hbf main station. It's quite old but is very clean, room specious, breakfast good. Shopping mall, bar nearby. The reception staffs are just wonderful, I did not find difficult as they speak English also. Mr Mares Bogdan becomes my fr...

Very pleasant stay did not arrive until late evening but well staffed reception area hotel is of a very good standard for the price paid and is within walking distance of Alstadt which is principal shopping/eating/nightlife area of Dusseldorf I will be going back

Everything was great. The hotel has AC compared to the rest we stayed in. We did meet with problem carrying our 30kg baggage up the stairs ( although there is a lift but the lift stop in between floors. so, therefore, we still need to carry half a floor of stairs up or down to our level. ) THere is no fridge in the hotel so please do not buy anything that need to chil...

I have stayed several times at this hotel becaues of its good location: a short taxi ride from the airport, near the station and the main shopping areas. The rooms at the back of the hotel are quiet, some doubles have a small balkony, but the singles can be very small with only a small window high up. The rooms at the front are much nicer, but the can be noisy, especia...

Was staying in a 2 person room for 2 days. Hotel is a solid choice for someone who wants a good room in an excellent location and walking distance to the center station, rhine and general area (japanese community). Staff speaks german, english and japanese (as far as I could tell) and is very friendly and accomodating. Could be a bit cheaper for what it is, but if you ...

we had a booked confirmation for a king size bed, but when we arrived they said the hotel was full and all room's type has no king size, so we got instead a twin size bedroom. the first impression was unfriendly but then there was another person on the front desk, who apologized and explained nicely. we quite happy for a spacious and clean room. the other thing is on ...

Owing to staff's help, we were able to catch the plane to Japan. He kept knocking on the door till we actually woke up because we slept to much to notice the wake up call he made. We appreciated his excellent help. The other stuff are also nice and very helpful. Besides, the room was clean and nicely decorated, fabulous breakfast, close enough to central station. ...

Good location for exploring close to underground. Hotel is basic but it is clean, comfortable and breakfast I'd good value. The staff speak excellent English and nothing is too much trouble whether its lending an iron or giving directions . Dusseldorf is an impressive city and if I return the hotel Schumacher will be a must

NH Hotel Nord Dusseldorf is next to a S-bahn station with several lines including S1, S6, providing direct access to Dusseldorf Hbf and the airport, so it's location is very convenient. The facility of the hotel is good, but considering it's a four-star hotel, there is still space for improvement in lighting and maybe a Bluetooth speaker. Additionally, I hope next ti...

The Mercure Hotel is in walking distance to the main railway station. The staff is very attentive, well trained, supportive and has good language skills. The rooms are clean and well equipped, the breakfast buffet is great and nothing is missing. I would come again!

My friend & I went to Dusseldorf for a lads weekend, the only reason we selected Melia was for its location & value for money. Despite a bad start, we got stuck in the lift right after checking in, but we out within 5 mins & then only to find we were given a Double room instead of a twin room, which was once again sorted within 5 mins, we accept that these things happ...

for a few days vacation/ shopping in dusseldorf this is a hit! we went for the christmasmarkets 2010 and the location is very good. in the centre, near the konigs allee and schadow platz.alll can be done by foot. the rooms are very clean and fresh. the bathrooms are small and the rooms are also quite small for 4 (1 double, 2 bunkbeds). cheap and easy, and the breakfast...

Booked this hotel because it was close to the office but there is not much to see beside work. Dusseldorf is a 20 min ride away so its not that bad. Slow Wifi is free but premium is 5euro per day, its not much but still considering they set them self up as a business hotel it is not very business minded. All in all i enjoyed my stay but not sure i'll go back because a...

Nice surprise is the breakfast included in the price. Bred, toast, salami, cheese, butter, pates and some sweet stuff like marmelade and corn flakes. Location is more than good and for the cash it's the best solo traveler accomodation I've found in Duss

The walk from the central station is about 10-15 min with luggage, the staff was very helpful. I gave only 3 stars for the location, since it was really loud until 2 AM outside. I think there were people having a party, screaming, listening to loud music etc. I know that this is not really caused by the hotel itself but is definitely a drawback. It was impossible to le...

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The woman at the front desk was multilingual, offered great suggestions for things to do/see, where to eat, and gave us helpful directions with a map. The hotel is conveniently located just a street away from the main strain station (Hauptbahnhof), which made our commute back to the airport as smooth as possible! Fo...

A little bit far away from the metro station , by walking need 15--20min about , but the house locate in a nice and very quite area , the boss was friendly and good service , and there are a lovely restaurant in the same building 、we were stay one night there and very enjoy it , thanks !

Very beautiful, peaceful and cozy place. All the furniture is new. The place is very light and spacious. It has a very nice balcony. Located very close to the airport but still it's very quet around and you don't hear the planes stall. Everything was perfect. I'd recommend this place ,for solo and couple travelers.

We spent a night after visiting Dusseldorf city. Next day, we planned to visit Insel Hombroich which is a art museum that takes about 10min driving from the hotel. It was a great choice for us as the deal was so good. it was a good value budget hotel, not a 4star hotel. We did not put out hopes up as the price was under our budget, so the place was O.K. The room was sp...

I came for the Anuga show in cologne, so this hotel was close by the train station which i could make the trip daily. My small negative point was that the hotel doesnt accept VISA which means that i had to use cash, but apart from that the rooms were very clean and enough for my stay

This hotel is located 10 minutes walking to the Central Main station. Opposite to a minimarket, and next to several restaurants. There is a laundromat located 600 meter away from this hotel which is great if you are in Dusseldorf for a longer time. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The 1st couple days although they cleaned the room somehow they didn’t pick up the tr...

We had a very enjoyable two night stay at InterCity and were generally very pleased. The rooms were spacious, clean, and with good facilities. The bathroom and shower was great. The breakfast buffet was good and probably worth the additional cost. The hotel location is excellent, just a few minutes away from Dusseldorf HBF. In fact, it was only upon check out that we h...

We stayed for 2 nights (2adults +2 children 3 and 6yrs), we had the studio suite. This room was spacious and as advertised. Large plus point was the free mini bar (they even restocked them). Staff was helpfull and friendly , english was not a problem. Bathroom was ok . Beds are the only downside in our opinion. They where very soft. We will return for sure. Dusseldor...

The hotel was a big and modern one, located on the Northern side of Dusseldorf. It's quite near the airport, and about 5 tram stops from the main shopping area. A tram station is not too far away. Staff were friendly and the beds comfortable. The only bad thing was internet and parking cost 22Eur each.

I compared prices and chose this hotel as in was relatively inexpensive and not too far from the Königsallee shopping street, the Old Town and the main railway station (from which you had easy access to the Düsseldorf airport and Cologne). The room was really small but for a solo traveller it not such a big problem. For two people it could have been uncomfortable, tryi...

We stayed here for one night as our Father/Father in law had visited and was going back to the UK on an early flight the following day. Very conveniently situated hotel with good ammeneties and vety clean throughout. The rooms (2 doubles) were spacious, clean, had everything we needed with a well equipped and spacious bathroom too. Friendly staff. Great rooms and super clean. Easy parking under the hotel, but costs 15 euro overnight. Great breakfast, with everything one can imagine , maybe not so much for Asians ( no rice dishes/ wok food). The fitness room was a joke though. ( Only 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical and 1 bike, all technogym , and a few free weights. Sauna way too small( fits maybe 3 se...

I usually stay at the Marriott. This time it was fully booked, that is why I had to choose Innside. Actually I wasn't disappointed. It is, in comparison to Marriott a bit pricey, but is totally worth the money. Breakfast is delicious and the view over the harbour is awesome. Rooms got sleepers and a coffee machine, minibar is included. Definitely is a better value for ...

we attended the messe dusseldorf ( medica ) and it was my first trip to dusseldorf. not much to expect and of course we had little choice of hotel in dusseldorf town as the number of visitors are huge. pleasantly surprise with the hotel, as it's not that far from town as well as to the fairground ( about 11 euros by taxi ). room are spacious with free minibar and inte...

- the hotel's overall is seems to be good, but except the reception staff, no smile, not good in mood, attitude, till i’m checked-out. - the hotel's staff are poor in customer services. be inattentive customer while I’m check-in, I have to wait 5-10mins in-front of reception desk for waiting their to continuing my check-in. I had a reservation via agoda.com but it s...

Just make sure you got all those passwords before you go there because they don't have reception. Other than that just fantastic and they are very efficiency to answer your emails. Super clean with easy access location as well as all those wonderful restaurant nearby. Just perfect :)

I stayed two nights in this beautiful boutique hotel, which was before a court building. Nothing nicer than this in all what I ever saw in Germany. The rooms are most spacious and the location is near everything you want when you come to a city. The service is brilliant! Especially the reception guys, Marius und Hendrik ! I will return for sure and hope they can keep t...

Dusseldorf is an old city but with modern style in fashion.. There are lots of nice views and nature.
great place to explore but didn't have enough time (only one night and the day after that) easy to travel with Tageskarte, I went to Esprit Arena, Altstadt and Flughafen with it and it cost me only 6.
Awesome, Benrath such beautiful park, Königsalle and Altstadt are the place of shopping.Don't forget visit Immermannstrasse (that's Japanese store, groceries, foods, drinks) or I could say an Asian town.
We arrived in Dusseldorf feeling quit stupid, the friendly people at the train station DB bookings were most helpful in telling us how to get around.
We drive from Frankhurt, stay here for 2 nights, then go to The Netherlands. There are a lot of resturant, shopping area.
the city is full of culture from different backgrounds. we did some shopping and had dinner at the street of Japanese.
My gf said this city is like an army. Everything clean, everything in order, everyone following orders.
My visiting purpose is business. So I can't mention about good point of the city. But there are a lot of restaurants.
Great city with a lot of green areas and also modern buildings and museums. A lot of nightlife and beer-activities.
Fantastic place to go for a weekend break great bars food and nightlife Altadt a must also Konigsallee for shopping
Was on a short one night stay. Walk to King's alley and Rhine riverside walk. It was labor day so everyone is out there having fun drinking and dinning and just total relaxation.
Nice city. Full of Art and culture. Easy to access, near to Venlo, Netherland which the Floridae 2012 held this year.
