"Not all rooms in first-class hotels in Cebu have a bath tub. This one is one such. There are others. This reviewer has a habit of misbehaving in first-class hotels (although not for the bath tub) and he hereby apologises to all Cebu first-class hotels. The Agoda price for three persons was double the price for two persons. Agoda.com went on to find a cheaper price – for three persons - through one of its "partners". The Agoda document said – to the hotel – that it – the latter – would be paid, not by Agoda but, through a third party. Upon check-in, with three persons for four nights, we were told, we had only breakfast for two. We didn’t mind. Upon check-out, the breakfasts for the third person were reimbursed."

"This is one of the best hotels in Cebu. Location is strategic near shopping centers and restaurants. The building is new that is why everything is at its best quality from the facade to hotel room as well as the swimming pool and gym. Restaurant for breakfast which is abaca serves very satisfying spread of buffet breakfast. What really made our stay memorable is the warm hospitality and customer service is excellent. I want to commend Mr. Mark one of the concierge for a job well done. I am also in the hospitality industry and I can say that Citadines Cebu had met my expectations in every aspect of hotel operation. Thank you very much for the pleasant experience and I hope the service quality will not change in the future. Keep up the good work Citadines Cebu! "

"i originally planned on staying at the quest hotel for a week, but ended up staying a month. value for money when i was here in may-june 2012 the value for money was incredible. i paid around us per night without breakfast. by comparison, the cebu marriott, was running around us per night – a little over twice the price, and i imagine no better quality. i looked at half a dozen hotels in cebu before settling on quest. other hotels in cebu running in the $50 - $60 range don’t even come close in terms of quality. and my high expectations were met after i moved in. location the location is great, right across the street from the ayala mall, which is the most upscale mall in cebu. ayala a good place to hang out with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops with fast internet connections. (unfortunately, like most hotels the internet connection at quest is a slower than i would like for my work.) quality the hotel is brand new. when i first arrived they were still finishing outfitting the upper floors. it is impeccably clean and everything is brand new. the rooms are well designed, and the hotel has a clean, spacious feel to it. despite being near a busy road, i heard almost no noise from outside and always slept soundly. food the philippines are not renowned for the food. i haven’t had a meal here that impressed me. having said that, the food in the hotel is the best i have had in the philippines. it’s the same standard as you’d expect of hotel food in a us hotel that knows how to do food well. not just a generic menu designed to serve the lowest common denominator, but actually a good menu with really good food. (they do have all the regulars like steak and burgers, but they do it well.) friendly staff the staff have been consistently friendly and helpful. i feel welcomed every time i enter the hotel at whatever time of day or night."

"The Bai Hotel Cebu was an amazing stay. The service, food, room, amenities, and everything about the Bai Hotel was outstanding. Words can't describe the experience during my stay. In the past I stayed at the Marriott at Ayala Mall but if I knew then what I know now I would have stayed at the Bai Hotel. The service by the staff was amazing, room and housekeeping the best and food, off the charts. The best breakfast buffet ever and I'm serious, the Cafe is the best. If you want an experience like never before visit the Twighlight Rooftop Lounge. Keep up the great work Bai Hotel, I will be back again and again when I return to Cebu. The Bai Hotel is Best in Class !! "

"Everything is really well decorated, efficiently set up and the rooms are excellent. Clean, modern, cozy with very nice bathrooms, easily matching the Quest Hotel or Bayfront Hotel. + full suite of amenities: fridge, water kettle, desk, chair, safe-box, remote controlled modern Hitachi aircon, no less. And the room deco is spotless. If you took photos, you could use them in a brochure to advertise condos or something And unlike many CEBU hotels, a hot shower is available at any time of night or day. How many times have I found only cold water in the later evening - including the Bayfront hotel. So many hotels here go so far as to only turn on their water heater between ~7 and 10 AM Area is fine, unless you need to be close to the airport for an early flight. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They'll give you directions to stuff and also warn you if you'll end up in a seedy area."

"I have stayed at Cebu Parklane several times now. I have also stayed in The Waterfront Lahug and other Cebu hotels such as Century Park Plaza. However, the Parklane remains my favourite as it gets the balance right between value for money and comfort. The hotel is friendly. The restaurant is very good. The included buffet breakfast is excellent with wide variety of foods from sushi to omelettes There is something here for all nationalities. Cold cuts for Europeans, traditional Japanese, Filipino and western breakfasts are all catered for. The rooms are spacious and clean. there have been some room renovations and this has served to update the decor and comfort. Ayala Mall is across 2 roads, within walking distance and there is a multitude of shops, restaurants and night spots within. This hotel is in the City so its not a resort or a place where you can lounge by the beach But its located in the newer part of the CBD and, there is much night life nearby. Its also a good location if you are doing business in Cebu. "

"Excellent accommodations. Great water park for the children. Free Asian style breakfast. Only coffee, tea, hard boiled or scrambled eggs, toast, butter and jam for the Westerners. Very good quality. The rooms are comfortable. The Air Conditioning works very well. The TV has limited channels and like all other hotels in Cebu very little to watch but Asian shows and movies. Only 2 stations with western movies. The best part is the hot water! A constant flow of water soooo hot one must temper it with some cold to take a bath or shower. This is unheard of in Asia except for over priced hotels. Reminds me to mention, the prices are very affordable. Joining the Toyoko Club reduces them even further and offers numerous other advantages. Toyoko is adjacent to a very nice small JMall. Everything is available but in a well conceived layout instead of the confusing mazes of the larger malls in Cebu. The grocery story is excellent! Tons of international products. We'll stay here every visit!"

"Sarrosa International Hotel is one of the best hotel for us. The place and rooms are very neat. The housekeeping always clean our room and of course, their staff and their guards always greeted us whenever we leave and came back in the hotel. I felt like home because it is very comfortable to stay in Sarrosa. On our last day, we've tried their breakfast buffet. I just notice that they serve common foods, I suggest that they should try to serve some Cebu's Dishes such as Danggit, Bolinao and etc. We would like to thank Sarrosa Hotel for your very warm treatment to us and hope we can visit again Cebu City. Always carry some cash, as not all establishments accept credit cards, especially in local markets or smaller eateries. ATMs are widely available, but it's wise to have small denominations on hand for street vendors and transportation. Safety is generally not a major concern in Cebu, but like in any tourist destination, it's essential to stay vigilant and avoid displaying valuables in crowded areas.

Lastly, consider downloading useful apps for navigation and translation to make your travel experience smoother. With these tips in mind, you can focus on enjoying the beauty and culture of Cebu without any hiccups.

Explore Cebu's Nightlife Scene

Cebu's nightlife offers a diverse range of experiences, from laid-back bars to lively nightclubs. The bustling area of IT Park is a popular spot for night owls, featuring a variety of bars and restaurants that cater to different tastes. Enjoy a drink at one of the rooftop bars, where you can take in stunning views of the city skyline while sipping on refreshing cocktails.

If you're in the mood for dancing, head to Club Haze or Liv Super Club, both known for their vibrant atmosphere and excellent DJs. These venues often host themed nights and special events, ensuring a fun-filled evening. For a more relaxed vibe, consider visiting a local pub or lounge, where you can enjoy live music and mingle with locals.

Whether you prefer a night of dancing, sipping cocktails, or enjoying live performances, Cebu's nightlife has something to offer everyone. Just remember to plan your transportation in advance, especially if you plan to enjoy a night out on the town.
