Where to stay in Berlin
Berlin hotels & accommodations

I and my friend had a blast in Berlin thanks to our smooth experience at Titanic Chausee. The staff was incredibly helpful and sympathetic and we had a great time chatting with them. Restaurant manager Hakan and his team were great at all matters. Mr. Evren (assistant manager I suppose) and I were on the same on the same plane back to Istanbul by chance and even then,...

Location is very good as it is at Wittenberge place in center of west Berlin near zoo, chearch which is simbol from second world war,kdv shopping center,Tiergarten park, kings palace with park is forty minutes walk away. But it is six kilometers from Alexanderplace where the most tourist attractions are .Very safe and elegant area.Hotel rooms are big with big bathrooms.Re...

Located at, or rather in Alexanderplatz, which is the real happening lace in Berlin, with the bus stop, the underground, tram and taxi stand just outside the hotel, Park Inn is a very well located hotel. All the historical monuments can be accessed by the hop-on hop-off bus, which is only €15 per head. Taxis are very reasonable with an airport trip costing €30. The ro...

Great hotel, great location! Several Xmas markets & tourist attractions within walking distance.. Reception & waiting staff all very friendly & accommodating, no language barriers as speak good English. Room compact but perfectly adequate, modern, comfortable beds, decent shower/plenty of hot water. Only negative observation would be that ligjting could be brighter, ...

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights with my husband to explore Berlin. Sana Berlin never failed my expectations : sumptuous breakfast, clean room, nice sauna, excellent staffs, and on top of all : not as expensive aa most other 4-star hotels in Berlin. We will come back there again whenever we visit Berlin.

The NW Hotel in Berlin is probably one of my best accomodation experiences overall. The room was so spacious, cozy and clean that I could hardly remember anything close to this perfection for a so fair price per night. The staff was extremely polite,it took nothing more than a minute to check-in and check-out.The interior design is absolutely tasteful and modern, all the f...

I stayed for just 3 nights, when the hotel was not apparently very busy, but the staff were very friendly and helpful, speaking excellent English. I was a budget traveller, having used a booking website, so didn't sample all the amenities of the hotel, but the room itself was clean and well appointed, with everything you'd expect from a modern standard hotel room. Judg...

i stayed at angleterre for the full 12 nights while in berlin. i was given exactly what i was expecting, clean room (smoking) which allowed me a check in time at 3pm which was okay. decent windows in the room for good ventilation. the television has all the free/cable channels when i felt bored. housekeeping is efficient and supplies replenished every day. the only ...

Everyone who visits Berlin should stay in this hotel. All the staff teams are very professional, friendly and helpful. Most importantly, the location is the BEST - right next to the main shopping street with everything within walking distance. I stayed for 3 nights, used many of the services n never felt so comfortable in a hotel before. Even the room service food was...

The location of the apartment could not have been better. Walking distance to Brandenburg Gate and two metro stations nearby. The apartment was very secure and very clean. It was quiet and spacious. Plenty of eateries nearby and a large supermarket across the road which was open until 10PM. The company have many apartments in the area but the one we were in had one bed...

The hotel has everything beyond a standard 4 star hotels in Germany: friendly front desk staff, helpful concierge, lovely and stylish room with air-conditioning, free wifi (all day) , safe, tea & coffee facility, hair dryer....and more. We stayed at many 4* hotels in germany and other countries, this was definately one of the best we have stayed so far. Ver g...

To wake up, I really love to make a cup of coffee before going to the breakfast buffet. In this hotel you have a Nespresso machine in the room. Perfect, fresh coffee every time! And, of course, new capsules every day. Connected to the rather big TV, an excellent sound system that even has a sub woofer. A perfect beginning of the day! We didn't need it as we just opene...

It's located 5-10 min walk away from subway. This makes travelling to other places in Berlin very easy and convenient. The receptionists are very friendly and answer any questions we had. The rooms are clean and tidy. Their buffet breakfast is one of the best I ever had: ham and cheese, 2 types of eggs, sausage, olive platter, etc.

When I booked this hotel a few months before my 3 night stay in December 2016, I found the best deal to be on Agoda. The reviews on TA looked to be fairly good so I was expecting a stress-free stay and that's what I got. I had booked a Exclusive Double Room and had requested a room on a high floor as the hotel is near a busy road - this request was honoured and the ro...

We were a group of 6 ladies visiting the Berlin to enjoy the Christmas Markets. Booked this hotel based primarily on location and price. We weren't too bothered about the quality of the hotel as it was just a place to sleep. However, we found The Weinmeister to be extremely comfortable and it has a slightly quirky feel to it, with designer beds and oversized wing back ...

Loved the location, close to museum island and hackeserhod. Walkable to Unter den Linden and Frierichatrasse. So easy to get to on TXL Bus. We were in an appartment with two bedrooms (610 and 609, I think). Not a great view over the car park but we weren't really bothered about that. Small balcony. Well equipped apart from no scissors. We used washing machine. It's 9...

Rooms are no luxury but they're perfect enough for cheap and short trip to Berlin. Road in front of hotel is full of traffic all day but windows can isolate you from noise so it's okay. Carpets should be cleaner but nothing EW, just old carpets. Beds clean and comfortable, bathroom with bath tub was roomful, toilet papers and so on were added daily. Breakfasts simple a...

+ the hotel is looks nice, clean, the staffs is friendly, the accommodation is small but looks new and tidy. Restaurants around the hotel are very delicious. - for the weather like we were there, it is difficult to go outside so we prefer to stay inside the hotel but there is only a restaurant for breakfast, not for lunch or dinner. Location a bit far away from any of ...

This was a last second booking as I chose to leave Munich a day early and head to Berlin. My other hotel wouldn't be available until the next day and I didn't want to pay top dollar for a quick 16 hour stay. I found this on my phone and decided to chance it as the price was quite affordable. When I first arrived in the hotel I was shocked by how nice the lobby was. Thi...

Generator Hostel is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed so far. It is well located, within walking distance to the tram as well as the train to the airport. The staff is very friendly, I remembered him telling us that he has been to Kuala Lumpur before and we chatted with him like we've known him for a long time! The breakfast spread was decent. Overall, a ve...

We were delighted with our stay at the Melia and with the fantastic rate we found on agoda. I shared a room with an 18-year-old who received the trip as a graduation gift from her uncle, who stayed in a second room. For 2 adults the room was adequately sized, not overly generous but just fine. Our stay was quiet, we never heard a sound from the elevator right across th...

I have just returned from a 3-night stay at the Hotel AMANO Grand Central and found it to be a great hotel. Firstly, in my opinion, the location is ideal, as it is a 2 minute walk from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof station (Europlatz side) and also close to the TXL bus stops to take you to and from Tegel airport. With regard to sight seeing, you simply need to walk through...

First time in Berlin, this hotel was situated perfectly to get around the city. Locally it has plenty of restaurants and shops in and around Alexanderplatz, and comutability via Berlin's extensive overground and underground rail systems was easy thanks to the Alexandeeplatz station on the doorstep. The room was tidy, clean and boasted excellent facilities and even it...

The hotel is located across the street of a suburban train station (S) which gives you the perfect access to go everywhere in Berlin. Access to the high speed railway network in Germany is only one stop ( 1 min) away form the hotel ( Berlin Spandau) The fairground is only a few train (S) minutes away with trains departing every 10 min. The hotel itself is located in...

The hotel is a 15/20 minute walk from Zoologischer Garten Station (which is a direct route from Schönefeld airport). You can catch the 200 bus to the hotel if you don’t feel like walking. Staff were very friendly both before and when we arrived. I had emailed asking about position/transport etc and they replied straight away. Staff were extremely friendly whilst at the...

Nice hotel. I come there at night to check in, there was no problem there. On the next day, I was not satisfied with my room. They change my room on my request. Most of all I like breakfasts there, especially for the price I paid for staying there. I guess there are many other nice hotels in Berlin, but this one is defensively a secure option.

I found the location very convenient, as it was just across the street from an S-Bahn station, and just a few hundred meters from a grocery store, shopping mall, and many restaurants! The facilities were very clean, the bedding was nice, and the absolute best part was the staff! Gianni and Rafael were wonderfully hospitable and welcoming--an entirely different experien...

So there are tons of bad reviews about this place and honestly I don’t know why. It’s just like any other hostel, and virtually the same as another I’ve stayed in Berlin but half the price. The showers have doors and the beds have sheets/bedding. I was given a free padlock for my locker, which was large enough to fit my carryone and a bookbag leaving some room. I was n...

Third time at the A&O Berlin Hauptbahnhof hostel. Booked a private room with shower well in advance for a one night stay, during the marathon weekend. Start line is in walking distance and 5 minutes from the central rail station. Would always try to book the A&O Berlin Hauptbahnhof would recommend without hesitation.

I stopped once in A/O in Cologne, and it was very nice. However, I didn't realize that in Berlin it will be different story. Since it is probably one of the cheapest hotels in Berlin, the public that books this hotel is corresponding: the horny noisy teenagers are being constantly unloaded by the buses, and they produce incredible amount of noise, especially in the nig...

I loved the Amstel House! Super cozy hostel! When I have arrived (Wednesday 18/09 around 11 hs.) was working at reception a girl super kindly! Was a perfect welcome! The kitchen, common spaces, bar and living room is super nice! I did not like just the beds.. it was ok, but can be a bit more comfortable. Thanks guys! When I come back to Berlin, for sure I will go there...

This was my first time in Berlin and I was very pleased with the accommodations at the Three Little Pigs. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathrooms and showers nice. The breakfast was lovely and decently priced at 6 euro, considering its an all-you-can-eat buffet. It's very centrally located. There are a number of sites close enough to walk to...

The hostel is huge, very new and very clean. I stayed in the 4 bed shared room with ensuite bathroom. bedsheets were provided and were clean, bed was comfortable and the bedroom and bathroom was very clean. There are lockers in the room but you will need to bring your own padlock. There is wifi and free computers with internet access. there is western breakfast served ...

Arrived around 1600 on Sunday, place was busy, but not overly so. Told where my room was (4th floor), and started my ascent. First night, only half the room was occupied, so it was readonably quiet. Second night, slightly more people were booked in, still same, no noise. Only issues would really have to be proximity to railway line, which is also a perk, as it's a 3...

It was my first experience staying in hostel and had just the best experience! Had so much fun with the workers wish I could visit here again! BEST EVER!!!!! PLEASE if you visit Berlin STAY HERE (stay here)!! And please BOSS of hostel, raise the payment for the workers XD They are super AWESOME The food was great too!!

Cheap price, central location, organization profressional, room with artistic painting, bathroom new and clean, no noise, no drunk people around, polite and smiling staff, 24/7 supermarket at 20 meter. Enjoy Berlin in one80 hostel. The value of the room is higher of what we paid.

This facility was, by 1,000 times, the best place I stayed on my 2 week trip to Germany and Ireland! The staff was super friendly and helpful, answered all of my questions, and gave me great recommendations!! The 1st floor room had wifi, it's own common room, lockers, and separate restrooms and showers. There's plenty of light and electical sockets, but bring an exte...

A great place to stay for my first night in Berlin. The staff is very welcoming, upon check in they'll sit down with you and find out what you're interested in doing while you're in Berlin. Then they'll mark a bunch of things on map for you. The hostel is right next to a subway station, which makes getting around Berlin very easy. Also, there are a lot of young p...

a&o Friedrichshain is perfectly located for easy access into central Berlin. 300m to the Ostkreuz public transport hub. Nice, clean, spacious and warm rooms as well. In fact we liked the local Friedrichshain area as well with several places to meet and eat nearby. Even a local craft brewery - Straßenbräu. We would definitely stay there again.

This hostel was shockingly great. The room (4 bed dormitory) was kind of smal but if you book this kind of room you are not expecting to dance there or anything so it was no problem at all. The room and the whole hostel was very clean and modern. There is even a cool bar. If you not feeling like sightseeing anymore it is really enjoyable to just chill in the room or ba...

If I have time to go to Berlin, I will surely have a night here again ☺️ There are many stations such as ubahn, sbahn and train near the hostel. I booked 1 room with 6beds and luckily the rooms only booked by 3 of us(my group). So it was all ours. You can save your luggage before check in time and you can request for special food. The officer was really nice and helpful...

It's quite far out but for Berlin it's not that far. Good price and close to all you need in terms of supplies there's a kiosk opposite and a shopping centre 500 m away as well as a direct tram into Berlin fairly central but five minutes away. Lots of staff on board, place was bustling but once in your double doored room you heard nothing. Warm, fresh and largely ...

Located in the central which is close to the metro about 3 minutes walking. There’s a bar downstairs of the hostel and plenty of shops and restaurants around. The receptionist was very nice to me when checked in. The bed and bathroom are clean and comfortable. I was very happy staying there and would love to stay again if I get back to Berlin again. A little annoyed th...

This hostel is one of best in Berlin with amazing staff. Shame that its mostly fully booked now :-) Recently house keeping is not doing as good and one can see dirty floor every now and then. Moreover, teen age groups of different schools staying at hostel ruined 4-5 nights sleep. No rules were enforced on them :-( May be I will take sometime to go back to this ...

The hotel is newly modernised and the room was finished to a high standard. The small kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom had a fantastic shower. Location is very handy, next to a bus stop with direct links to the centre. The breakfast was fairly simple but excellent quality. Those were the good points. Unfortunately I found the bed uncomfortable, it sloped towa...

H10 Berlin met all our expections and more! I have been traveling for over 40 years and always stay in four or five star hotels in Europe. The customer service at this hotel was one of the best I have ever experienced. Rooms were totally quiet, very clean, and quite large. The hotel looks exactly as pictured on the web. I would definitely stay here again if I were t...

Staff at the hotel was friendly and very professional. Hotel California is closely located to u-bahn stations (Savignyplatz and Uhland-str), Ku De Wa shopping mall, the Berlin Zoo and the museum of the story of Berlin. You can get to these places by walking for about 5 to 10 minutes. It is right in the middle of a lively shopping district so you will be spoilt for ch...

Stayed at Steglitz during the peak of the heat wave in June-July 2019. To my surprise, only half of the room have air conditioning (Klimaanlage). This would normally not be a major problem in Berlin, except during a heat wave. I would have thought that 4-star hotels always have air conditioned rooms, but apparently the star rating in Germany is different than in other ...

Great hotel, clean rooms, facilities, generally what you would expect from a 4 star hotel, absolutely worth the price I paid! Loved the location, it was just right next to the train station (Friedrichstrasse) and easy to walk to the city area and attractions. It is also not that far from HBF, probably two stops away? Cant really remember, but it was very convenient. W...

I have stayed at the Abion Spreebogen a few times now, and each time, I have really enjoyed my stay. The location is fantastic--right on the river with gorgeous views and on one of the best "venues" for a long walk, close to several bus- and train lines, quiet yet central. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms clean and big enough, the many windows help brighten up the...

1 of 3 hotels I've stayed at in Berlin and the second 4 star hotel, but this is easily the best. The location is perfect for arrivals at Ostbahnhof station as it's literally just around the corner from it and for me this is the best part of Berlin for the cool bars and nightlife in the area. It appears to cater to a mostly business clientele during the week, which is ...

This hotel was a great place to stay during our 5-day visit to Berlin. It is in the neighborhood of Friedrichshain, in my opinion one of the coolest and most interesting neighborhoods in the city. The hotel is very conveniently located only about a 5-minute walk from the Frankfurter Tor U-Bahn station. It's very easy to find following the directions on the hotel's web ...

I stayed in the Adina Apartment Hotel in Berlin for one weekend and enjoyed every minute in the hotel. The location is super convenient as you can walk from Berlin main station to the hotel which takes around 10 minutes. On the other hand you are within walking distance to the Friedrichstrasse district and subway stations. Check-in at the reception was no problem and ...

Hotel fitted our needs perfectly. Rooms were clean and well maintained. It was near to all local amenities and a U Bahn. Coffee shops, restaurants etc were all close by. Travel around Berlin was easy from this location. Enjoyed Kreuzberg, which has a nice community feel.

i really enjoy my stay at novotel berlin mitte hotel. its loaction is great, in walking distance to the tv tower, alexander platz, charlie checkpoint and berlin wall, and the shopping streets including the lafayette, etc. the room is very clean and spacious. the hotel service is ok with helpful reception staffs. besides, breakfast here is very good with high quality, e...

The amazing hotel, beautiful staff. We have been served by Alexandra. She was very friendly and welcomed us with a beautiful smile. She also advised us for all facility of hotels and city map. I definitely recommend as one of the beautiful hotel in Berlin. We will stay again. Thanks for everything.

We selected this hotel because its fare was competitive, and we were very impressed by its design and interiors. Our room had adequate dimensions. We appreciated the appropriate storage areas as well as the safety-deposit box and the flat-screen TV with international programming. The shower was impressive, and the bathroom amenities were quite nice. Everything seem...

the hotel is located in a very central area of the city, which makes for an easy walk to some of the best attractions berlin has to offer. the hotel itself is fairly nice, though unspectacular. the exercise facilities are nice, yet quite small, while the rooms are spacious and comfortable. the staff were all very friendly and helpful, which made for an overall very com...

Rooms are a bit old and getting to the Lobby and rooms is a bit odd (elevator up to Lobby, then another elevator down again to access the rooms), but the stay was ok. Seriously nothing remarkable here, but you won't make a mistake staying here if the rates are low, as the location us good in a lively and not sleazy neighborhood of Berlin. U-Bahn and S-Bahn are both a s...

I have used this hotel about 3 times in the past, and I was eager to return. It is a full-service hotel that specializes in events and caters to both business and leisure travelers. It is within easy walking distance (under 10 minutes) of Gropius Bau, Potsdamer Platz, and Mall of Berlin. Other attractions are also accessible on foot or very conveniently through a ne...
Luxury hotels in Berlin

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The best thing is its location - just few steps from the underground and tram. So close to many attractions in Berlin and also have lots of cafe nearby. I really like to room as well. Very clean and have everything you need such as kitchen and kitchenware is also provided. This should be a great choice for those who travel in gro...

My best friend in Berlin never forgets to remind me that Berlin was part of GDR. It’s still developing and will catch up with the German courtesies. But Ritz Carlton in Berlin does not let you feel that. A very well appointed lounge. A great caring team and fine quality of rooms at probably the best address in town. Nothing beats Ritz in Berlin!

Before making a decision about booking this hotel, my premonitions were mixed up. Unfortunately, this hotel has a lot of very bad opinions, but in spite of this I was persuaded by friends who spent many nights in this hotel. Pros of the hotel: Location: The hotel is located in the best possible place of Berlin - Kurfuerstendamm - it is a street full of exclusive bou...

The most reputable hotel in Berlin really lives up to expectations and, due to a very attractive offer in the hotel's wing area it is not even near ruinously expensive. Admittedly, it is quite a walk to the wing from the main lobby, but hotel standards and service reach all the way out. The fantastic location right by Brandenburger Tor and the amazing design and air of...

As an old guest of the Radisson Blu, I confirm that it is MY hotel in Berlin. Exceptional location. Fabulous aquarium inside the hotel Efficient and kind staff (a special mention to Sven Hassel at the breakfast) Quick check-in/out Unforgettable breakfast! Itself is a reason to go to Berlin

We only stayed here for a night as Berlin was a stopover on the way home. What a beautiful Hotel! Everything was amazing, including the price. this was by far the best value Hotel we stayed at during our trip. We didn't bother with breakfast, better hotels like this tend to overcharge for these services. We opted for a short walk and a visit to a nearby cafe. A nice wa...

What a blast, this hotel became in a minute one of our favorites, we had a light flooded spacious suite with view of the Spree river from all rooms, from bed and even from the bathroom. It is an incredibly romantic place. Excellent breakfast. Located in Moabit, you can reach all the many attractions of Berlin quickly and conveniently. If you know the Bebek Hotel in Ist...

We had a great time in the hotel, nice and pleasant welcome. We came as a couple to celebrate our is honeymoon and and that it will be probably the last time traveling before becoming a new parents, and the staff gave us a bottle of champagne and chocolates with a nice greeting- it warmed our heart. The hotel is 4 min walking from Berlin mall, and has a good public tra...

The hotel is one of the best i have ever stayed in. Expecially for the price. It has a splendid garden, very wide rooms and lobby bar. Good service. Very quite and clean. A great choice for those who want to have a romantic and quite stay in the capital of germany. You definitely have to book the hotel.

We loved Gorki Apartments. Our rooms were fashionably hip, with beautiful accommodations and well-equipped kitchens. And the location was ideal as Gorki is in the midst of cafes and beautiful boutiques, and right around the corner from Museum Island. The staff was incredibly helpful, whether getting a cab, making dinner reservations, or securing tickets to the Boros Co...
