Quite location , clean , love outdoor shower. Good for family get away for weekend and we enjoyed bicycle ride around resort. Staffs are very friendly and welcoming

Worth the 400m rough road at the entrance. Don’t be fooled, it is a gorgeous, simple, clean and beautifully relaxing resort with views to die for. One of those few places where I could have stayed in bed looking out at the view all day!

Clean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast is good and a lot of varieties. Only water in bathroom was not strong enough. This resort is value for money and not too far from main road. We love here.

Quiet resort with private space in beautiful setting”
A very good stopover for us for just one night...not too far from the tourist elements to visit but quiet and secluded. Breakfast in room was well served...only negative was poor wifi reception in room, but we did not come for that, so no worries. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Great Location! Nice View and Weather ”
The resort is located on the hill so you will get the nice view for sure. We stayed in Moon room. It had 2 king beds which was comfortable! Spacious bathroom, however, the bathroom was not so clean. The water wasn’t hot, more like lukewarm water. The breakfast we had was all you can eat American breakfast and Thai rica porridge. Overall I will give 5 out of 5 stars

Spacious resort”
For the price paid during this huge Covid-19 discount period is good value for the money. I stayed at the I-Moon villa. Pro: 1. Resort is spacious with huge spaces between the villas with good privacy. 2. The swimming pool is a good size and clean with good view of the valley below. 3. The villas are big with a huge balcony overlooking the valley. 4. Breakfast was simple. 5. Reception was nice and friendly. 6. Staffs in the dinning room are very nice and friendly. Con: 1. Water pressure in the shower was low. 2. Shower head need repair. 3. Water leak from the shower area into the rest of the bathroom. 4. Sliding door into the balcony need to be oiled. It was difficult to open. 5. More clothing hooks in the bathroom would be useful, especially behind the bathroom door. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, even though I only stayed 1 night.

Listed in the wrong price zone”
The place was not worth the price. It was far removed from other attractions, so you would want to feel like you're at a resort. But the place was hard to find and you have to drive on dirt roads to find it. We had a poisonous snake in our room. When we called staff to help, they never did come until about 2 hours later. The pool was ok and there was a good view from the deck, but there is tall grass right at the edge of the pool, which blocks the view of the valley. That was very disappointing. The breakfast was ok. The beds and showers were fine. Maybe $50-60 a night would be ok, but $90 a night was way too expensive. Disappointing overall.

Hotel is old and looks nothing like the pictures, which I'm not sure are even from the same hotel or just stolen from the Internet. No hot water. They already knew and didn't want to fix it, so we had to shower in cold water.

Opportunity missed”
Remembered I write this as a non-Thai but as the only one in a party of four. And they do agree with me on many point particularly the breakfast. Chantara Valley and the area it is in is very much Thai resort. The cabins were great except 1) no chairs or table 2) nowhere to hang clothes 3) no facility to make tea or coffee or even boil water for pot noddles.. The views down the valley from the balcony are great and I would have loved to have sat out early morning with a coffee watching the sun rise over it. Breakfast is ranked low even for my Thai partners. Cold fried eggs, processed ham in luke warm water, bread that had hardly time to say "good morning" to the toaster.. The only Thai dish available was a rice soup.. Some interesting eating places around (you'll need them as the breakfast is the only food available at the resort) though many closed as we went mid-week, low season. Many of the tourist places were shut also. Very much a BYO facility.
