When i first arrived the helang hotel looked as if no one had paid the exterior to the hotel for quite some while but once you enter you find very friendly and helpful staff,the interior is 1st class and you feel that you are in a nice big hotel,my room was spacious and very comfortable with a kingsize double bed,the bathroom had a large bath and separate shower and was also quite spacious.I never had breakfast or dinner in the hotelas i normally got in quite late and prefered to eat in panti cenang or straight across the from the hotel they have a hot food market between 5pm-730pm and you can a really good feed for approx. 10 ringets just over $3.the hotel has a large swimming pool situated in front of the dining area where a buffet is served,after that you can go to the lounge bar where they have karaoke,as i was leaving one night to go out i heard girls singing in french but never managed to go in myself.Your room is cleaned daily after you leave the room,the staff will also look after your luggage once you have checked out if you have a flight later in the day, The airport is a stones throw away from the hotel,walk out airport turn left 3-5 mins walk you are there,The only drawback is that the hotel is 15 kilometres from panti cenang,18ringets for a taxi,same back unless after midnight and then its double,i hired a car very cheaply and found it invalueable as it gave me independance to go all over the island at will and save money,petro 1.80 ringets,there is a bus that takes hotel patrons to the langasuka beach resort about 5mins from hotel and you are at a lovely beach(free of charge).I hope this proves helpful to some people and you enjoy your stay in the helang or langkawi in general,i did! ords

Convenient location, friendly, reasonably priced”
we arrived at the airport, picked up our car rental, and drove right next door to check in. the hotel is right next-door to the langkawi airport, you can walk thru the back to get there (easy to pick up a morning cup of coffee at starbucks! the hotel itself is well kept up. it is showing it's age in some ways (carpets in hallways need replacing, some fresh paint, etc), but the entrance lobby is airy, bright, and looks very nice. the staff were very friendly, and the wifi for the room was very cheap. only hotels charge a fee per day, helang only charged a rm10 charge per device for the entire stay. a lot cheaper then other places i've stayed in langkawi. breakfast had plenty of choices for the morning buffet. the pool was great, and clean. i could hear nothing, never heard a plane landing, no disturbances. we'd definitely stay again, and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to crash while exploring the island. while it's not the place if you want the "resort" experience, its great for others.

Good hotel near the airport”
One Helang Hotel is located near the Langkawi Airport in a 3min walking distance. Friendly staff, spacious lobby/halls/rooms, with big windows, offering a panoramic view to the landing/taking-off airplanes. A big/clean swimming pool area is a nice place to spend your time with kids. In general, this hotel needs to be repainted and all carpet coverings renewed, but the rooms are quite big, clean and well furnished, private bathrooms (both bathtube and shower) provided. Surprisingly not noisy, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is served in a large restaurant, you can also sit outside in the swimming pool area. Getting around by taxi, 15min drive to the beach/restaurants area.

stayed at one helang hotel with an attractive rooms rates through agoda. rooms are spacious with 02 queen bed. comfortable rooms and ammenities. breakfast is great with lots of choices. accessible to the airport in minutes. 15mins drive in both direction to cenang beach and kuah town. december is peak in view of lima (langkawi international maritime and aviation exhibition). book early or else stay somewhere else. will stay there again.

Big & comfortable, next to airport”
The kids liked it when we reached the hotel lobby as it is big & they can run happily. Check in & check out was fast, even the check in time is 3pm, but we reached there before 2pm & was allowed to check in immediately. The room got 2 super large single beds which looks like queen size bed & there is a sofa bed as well. Extra pillows were given without charge. The room can easily sleep 5 persons & yet still very comfortable. No extra charge for kids as i brought 3 kids with me. With one night charge of RM188, it is value for money! My kids loved the room as it is very big! We went to Langkawi for 5 nights but first 4 nights we stayed at Resort World Langkawi as it is near to beach but the room is about 230. But Langkawi is very small, renting a car is very convenient, we should have just stayed at One Hotel Helang as it is not far from Kuah at own as well as beach side. Though One Hotel a helang is not near the beach, they have free shuttle to send you to their private beach nearby. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for the comfort of room!

Nice hotel and clear”
The best thing about environment is the location We stayed in One Hotel Helang for 1 nights in August, the hotel is not very well sign posted, we actually drove pass it. Its better to look for the Langkawi airport, it is right behind the airport. The room are clean and service are ok, The breakfast ok, The swinging pool are great. The room view swinging pool are nice. Over all, we like the hotel environment are nice.

Awesome Hotel and On The Airport”
Anybody can say One Hotel Helang is a Airport Hotel. Stuffs and services are wonderful. And Rooms are so Large and Neat and Clean. And Price is good than other. If you have rent car then this place will be the center of Langkawi. And you can enjoy the Whole run-way , But there sound proof glass give you the enjoyment and Fun around the flight. They have option for extend your checkout Time. until 6 PM. for few amount of RM (60). No shops around here.

Is a very good decision and recommendation to stay in hotel helang if arrive langkawi airport at nite, cos it is really nearby airport, which is oni 5 min walking distance. Room design is unique, light and lamp are unique. Besides that,the bed beside window gives a very good feeling. toilet is big enough and clean. Overall whole room is clean. Hotel staff are friendly.

Quality in the middle of Langkawi”
Even though its described (and is) an airport hotel,I was thinking its also a great place to base yourself if you have car ( and you need one in Langkawi) and want to get out of Kuah town or touristy Pantai Cenang.Can see cable car,beach, airport obviously parts of town from hotel, so I think it would be a great place to base yourself also if you are planning on exploring the island by car--- please do it, its the best part of langkawi for me(the driving),besides the cable car!Why base yourself here? Its basically a 5 star hotel charging at a 2/3 star rate and its smack bang in the middle of things..Langkawi is not a big island (if you have car) but its a real pain if you have to rely on cabs (no public buses) etc to get around....and NO, you cannot walk between town and cenang beach..!

i reserve 3 king bed rooms for me and my kids , rooms were spacious and very clean, the room design was good , the hotel is just 3 min. walk from langkawi airport. because of my late arrival at approx. 8pm evening i stayed at the one hotel helang for one night. then we proceed to meritus pelangy resort. breakfast was ok . overall the hotel was good.

Good choice for travelers who rent a car”
One Hotel Helang is a very good choice for travelers who rent a car. Room was surprisingly spacious and clean compare to the price we paid. (Even better than the places I paid more in Langkawi.) All of my friends said that if they visit Langkawi again, they'll choose One Hotel again. * If you visit Langkawi during Ramadan, please visit Ramadan Market held just in front of the hotel. =)

Fast check-in and out and good customer service. Staff are friendly. Cheapest 4-star hotel in Langkawi and really value for money 10/10! Location is awesome, hotel is beside the airport. 5 mins. walk could reach airport. Very huge hotel lobby and restaurant. Having additional large chandelier light would be very nice though. Large room and large bathroom and clean. Room is well equipped..got tv, aircond, fridge, coffee+tea & kettle, bathtub, got hot shower, iron & board inside wardrobe so no need to request. Room got 2 Queen Beds and 1 sofa-bed which is very nice for family stay indeed. Breakfast buffet spread is good. Mix of local and western food. However,some of the corridor carpets are in bad condition already and some got bad smell. The management should change them immediately in order to maintain the 4-star ratings. And current gym location is not suitable. Overall the hotel is good and value for money. I would recommend this hotel especially to people with limited budget.

We were on a holiday to Langkawi and check into One Helang Hotel upon our arrival in the airport, the greetings from the counter was pleasant without any delay and hiccup, we have got our card to the room. The room is spacious, clean and with good bathroom/bathtub. I rented a car from the airport so parking our car next to the airport in the hotel don,t seem to be a challenge to us. At night, we drove to Cenang beach for shopping and seafood dinner which took us only 15 mins. It was a pleasant evening staying in the hotel that is cosy and away from the busy street.

One Hotel Helang located next to Langkawi Airport, but never a time I heard any jet flight passing by during the period of my stay, and it was a great stay in this hotel, love it much! People are nice there, I was given a room on 5th floor, facing the sea and mountain view which I requested earlier through Agoda booking. Foods are not too bad. I enjoy my stay very much!

Value for money, huge room, close to airport.hu”
we actually live on a boat in Langkawi. We love to try out different hotel details once a month for a land based treat. Hotel Helang is a good choice for us and we have been there 4 times. The price is fantastic, I love the pool and the large rooms. Yes, there are some worn carpets and the place could do with an interior paint job, but the overall feel of the hotel, forthe price is fantastic. We will stay again.

Great location and value for money”
We stay in this hotel for 4D3N. I was torn in between to choose whether to stay in Pantai Cenang or away from Cenang and many people told me to stay in Cenang because it's the most happening area at night and convenient for food and shopping but I chose One Hotel Helang after weighed on facilities and with the price I paid for. I was also very worried and concerned after reading so many bad review about the hotel which due to the renovation and food. Good thing that the renovation has finished when we check-in and I only book the room without breakfast as I didn't want to take chance on the breakfast after reading so many bad review about it and rather spend more time on sleeping. Overall, we are quite satisfied with the hotel as it's not noisy from the airport at all, spacious room with bathtub, relax from the busy Cenang if you don't mind to drive a bit about 10mins from Cenang. However, I think a 4 star hotel should also provide hand towel and not just 2 pieces of bath towels and it smelled. There's not much choice on the TV channels and they charged RM10 for using their Wifi. It was a good stay cos the room were spacious enough to relax and ask for room with swimming pool view. We will consider to stay in this hotel again if ever come to visit Langkawi again.

Great Hotel, Great Value”
We were just checking out Langkawi for a night, and found that One Hotel Helang was the best value/price. We were not disappointed--no complaints at all. The only downside I could see is that it is quite far from any restaurants and the beach.
