"Location is great in Bukit Bintang, just 3 mins walk to the nearest metro station which connect to Sentral Station to the Airport. Walk distances to all what Bukit Bintang offers, malls, restaurants, bars and cafes. The hotel itself is modern and very clean, staff are helpful, for the price we paid it's a really good deal. I will certainly going back to this hotel for my future trips in Kuala Lumpur."

"It is located beside Furama Hotel in Bukit Bintang. As the building is not that easy to find, this is very helpful when hailing a taxi as many drivers will not know where "Puteri Taragon" building is. Puteri Taragon is the name of the residential condominium building where The Ohana Suites is located. The hostel is at the 25th floor. MRT station is a bit of a walk, hence a map or google map is recommended but to give you an idea, it is 2 blocks behind Berjaya Times Square (huge light orange colored shopping mall). And Berjaya Times Square is nearby Bukit Bintang Train Station. Check-in was fast, easy and very informative. I have to say that I am impressed by the overall cleanliness of this hostel. They are selling soft beverages at the reception (very cheap) and there is small kitchen as well as a dining area enough to accommodate all guests. There is a balcony for smokers. There is a TV as well at the common area and the wifi is fast! The room is not too small, not too big. Just enough. There are 3 bunk beds (6 beds in total). They provide one pillow, one blanket and a bed sheet which you have to put in yourself. Towel is for rent at MYR4 per day. There is hot/cold shower. Toilet is clean. They also provide tissues. AC is working well too. One side of the hostel is for mixed dorm (male & female guests together) while the other side is dedicated to female guests only. They will give you a key card which you need to tap at the main door at the lobby and a key to your room. You need to leave your shoes outside of the hostel (in this case at the corridor). Overall, this is a good hostel. As I was too tired, I took a cab from KL Sentral to the hostel and I paid only MYR11 (USD2?). Location is really good as it is only a walking distance to Bukit Bintang area where shopping, spas and restaurants are overwhelming. Would recommend this for those seeking an affordable, yet reasonable accommodation in KL. Thanks, Manuel Stayed February 2017, traveled solo "

"The place was beautiful and clean and our suite was just below the penthouse with clear view of the city. We went out on the second day not knowing some helpers are gonna clean our room, we left some valuable items on the bed and when we come back, none of our item went missing. We even extended our stay for a couple of hours and the host attended to our request nicely. Just one cons, there’s no water heater or boilers. But there is a microwave in the kitchenette. Definitely would consider staying here again."

"For first time visitors to KL, and those coming to town to shop, you cannot beat the location of Hotel Royal!!! It's right in the thick of the Bukit Bintang shopping strip, and is just metres from both the Bukit Bintang Monorail station and MRT station giving easy access to all you could possibly need or want in KL! Our room was spotlessly clean, our beds very comfortable with plenty of pillows and clean linen. The room was equipped with an in-room safe, TV, WiFi, international adaptors, bathrobes. Hotel Royal has recently become a non-smoking hotel so the rooms are lovely and fresh (no stale smoke smell). The bathroom was fully equipped with towels, hand towels, bath mat and face washers, plus a full set of toiletries including toothbrush, comb, razer, soap, shampoo, body wash, moisturiser, cotton buds, emery board and sewing kit. The rainshower had plenty of hot water. We will definitely stay again!"
