“Review Brynton Hotel (Family Suite) ”
I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, I had a pleasant and comfortable experience. Here’s my honest review: Pros: Super Convenient Location: Everything you need is just a few steps away – Watsons, 7-Eleven, CU Mart, Family Mart, Billion, restaurants, coffee shops, banks, and more. You really don’t need a car, just walk out of the hotel and everything is there. Affordable Family Suite: The family suite is quite budget-friendly and spacious, able to fit 6–7 people comfortably. Friendly Staff & Satisfying Breakfast: The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast provided was satisfying. The dining area also has a nice interior view. Parking: There’s limited parking near the lobby on a first-come-first-serve basis. But if it's full, you can request a free basement parking pass from the receptionist, which is a nice backup option. Cons (Areas for Improvement): Lack of Window Tinting: The hotel windows aren’t tinted, only covered by curtains. This makes it easy for outsiders or other guests (especially since the hotel has two separate buildings) to see inside if curtains aren’t fully drawn. Even the toilet window only uses a roller blind. Adding tinted windows could solve this privacy issue. Slippery Toilet Floor: The toilet tiles get slippery when wet, so do be cautious. Also, there was a small leakage from the water hose in my toilet. Probably due to a worn-out washer. Hope they fix this soon. Poor Ventilation in One Toilet: Our family suite had two rooms, but only one of the toilets had proper ventilation. The other one had no windows or exhaust fan, which could be improved to reduce odor. Limited View: Don’t expect a scenic view from your room. It’s either facing the inside of Centrum Mall or the nearby IPPD building. Final Thoughts: These issues weren’t major dealbreakers for me, but I do hope the hotel can improve on them to make the stay even better. This hotel is ideal if you value convenience over scenery. It’s especially great if you like to grab supper, coffee drinks, or do some late night shopping since most shops are open until 11 PM. I stayed on a weekday and didn’t experience much noise, but I can’t say for weekends or public holidays. Overall, I’d rate this hotel 4.5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for an easy and comfortable stay in a strategic location!
