Amazing Resort - Loved every bit of it”
We were first little skeptical as some travelers did mention it's bit run down etc.. But when you we got there - right from the checkin, to the room service, breakfast, view from the room...everything was just seamless and amazing. It's literally 20min drive from the Airport...Roads are super clean, empty and well constructed...so the drive was a breeze... We arrived an hour early...finished off the check-in formalities, had a very nice fresh welcome juice and they arranged for us to check in early...We had booked Premier Room over the Water and I would highly recommend this room...The view was just stunning..Outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the sea was just gorgeous. A nice balcony was good touch as well to have your early morning coffee by the sea... Breakfast spread was really good...Ample of food and really delicious. Breakfast is available at Dayang Cafe and Beach Brasserie. Didn't have a huge spread at BB but was not tat crowded and very quite...Dayang Cafe being big most of the crowd goes there View from BB is better... Another plus point of this resort is it's location..it is literally walking distance to the Skycab Cable Car/Oriental Village. I recommend getting the Glass Bottom or 360 Cab car...It's a must do attraction... Sky bridge is ok...bit overrated. 3D museum was good...something different. Oriental Village is quote big..For lunch we went to the food court and had good local food with cold Coconut Water. Service at this resort was good...yes people have commented on the time it takes for the buggy to arrive but seriously you can plan this...Call for it 10 mins before you are ready to head out and you will be fine... Property does need some work here and there but doesn't deserve a low star for it...The location, staff make up for it...

Jungle Stay!”
This was by far the best experience my family and I had! We had the family chalet and it was located in the jungle. Monkeys, insects and weird sounds galore. We even had the resident cat, Orange, visit us right from the start. The stay in the chalet was comfortable but there were weird insect noises in the late night. So if you're a light sleeper, this might not bode well for you. Amenities in it was good for my family and I. To move around, there is a shuttle service that you can call on demand. The breakfast had a local and international spread. I could not complain much on the food. My last take away was the Thai Restaurant right at the far end of the compound and resting a hundred or so meters into the sea. To make reservations was an after thought as we were like its gonna be very expensive. We also had already tried some good restaurants at Pantai Cenang and another near Kuah. The last night we were super lazy and decided to go there. We were not let down. It was expensive but the food was fantastic. We all loved it and having the sea view was the icing for me. You will not regret staying at BLR.

It was flooded the day before our arrival and we were so worried that our trip will be a nightmare. But it turned out to be a good one. I read some bad comments about this hotel but i wanna experience it by myself. It is true that u will see monkeys around, so remember to keep your balcony and windows closed when you are out. I like the private beach, it is quiet and clean I like the hospitality group, they are very polite and very proactive in helping. They send me umbrellas when it is raining, they automatically offered the help to keep my luggage when i am waiting for check in, they bring the room key to me when i was having the welcome drinks at the bar etc etc etc thanks for the great experience

It has been some years since my last stay in Berjaya, Langkawi. Was allocated a rainforest chalet that borders the beach and forest. Some of the rainforest chalets had many steps to reach the chalet. Grateful that the resort acceded to my request for an elderly friendly chalet. The resort is spread out on the beach and pristine forest. Such a wonderful location. The sea and the forest. Transport to and fro from the chalet to lobby is efficient and quick. All the staff in the resort are friendly and helpful. Everyone has a smile. The staff definitely makes a difference. I was in the resort for a week and my room was cleaned every day. Very pleased with the cleanliness. Love the shower too. Pressure, volume and temperature was great.

I would say Berjaya Langkawi is one of the best resort I stay in Langkawi. Room is so clean with complimentary fruits & mini bar. Also the welcome note on the bed make the stay is very outstanding. The staff is so so friendly & address my children with name. Staff personal wassap to ensure we have a great stay there. Breakfast is superb. Overall was so great. Worth the price.

The rainforest chalet was clean and nice even though there's a squeaking sound from the wood flooring every time we walked. The breakfast spread was good as there are many varieties of food but there were flies at the cafe. That's a turn off. Overall, our family enjoyed the stay and the kids loved the buggy rides to our chalet.

We had a family chalet. If you wanted to go to the lobby there was a buggy service. The lobby is nice the pools are clean. Love the facilities and they serve free malaysian snacks in the afternoon. The only downside alot of insects, well you are in the middle of the jungle what can you expect. Monkeys flying around so keep your door/window closed. Would recommend if you want to relax with nothing around.

Amazing experience at this resort. The staff were all friendly and the buffet spread had loads of variety which consist of vegetarian corner too. Special mention to their kindess in allowing kids to pack their unfinished meal. Their service was excellent. My daughter celebrated her birthday and she was given a complementary birthday cake and a special deco which made her day. My kids were a little sick,their customer service officer Ms. Sujata always checked on their condition and also our overall stay requirements. This quality speaks highly of the Berjaya Groups emphasis on superior customer services. Definitely visiting this resort again. Such a clean beach and well-kept surroundings. I have another night to enjoy this place before I depart tomorrow! Truly an experience.

A very nice hotel, in the middle of nature. Respect the monkey warnings, they stole Fingers in my mini-bar, LOL. The staff is great, always smiling, the servir is great. Food and cocktails are over the top. Just a complain, it is a non smoking hotel so I can not stay around the pool. Also not much TV choice like Fox Movies as other Malaysian hotels. But it worth it, the beach and landscape are beautiful! Definitely recommend!

The counter manager who greeted us was friendly with a charming smile. Booked a great room and enjoyed it a lot. I took a lot of nice photos. I'm a little scared that monkeys will come to your balcony. Don't bring food or fruit to the balcony, or the monkey will come back to enjoy it with you in the next second, hahaha! The customer service and room service are also very friendly and welcoming, especially we enjoyed the north Indian-Lamb Rogan Josh with naan in the room, the sauce with naan was taste soooo good! And Salmon fillet taste good also.

I am a frequent traveller to Langkawi, and I must say that I am incredibly particular about the level of service that I receive. I have always enjoyed Meritus Pelangi and Resort World Langkawi's hospitality that I decided to give Berjaya Langkawi Resort a try. Since Berjaya is a 5-star hotel, the service should be on par or better. I was quite hesitant at first to choose another hotel since I might be disappointed. I don't like disappointments. I only have a short time every month to enjoy my time off work. I have always wanted to try Berjaya because I like their website, location and the reviews are encouraging. I was convinced. I decided to give it a go. I cancelled my reservation with Meritus Pelangi and booked Berjaya. Having to contend with the bustling city life in KL, Langkawi is a sweet escape. The best place for me to enjoy my sparkling wine and champagne. I was so excited for my stay with Berjaya Langkawi Resort that I have packed my bags two days in advance! I even had my interior designers to adopt Berjaya Langkawi Resort's Rainforest Studio interior for my newly bought apartment. Berjaya's high level of personalisation has not disappointed me. I felt their sincerity of wanting to provide the best customer service, and I appreciate that. It is one of the best places to stay with a fantastic buffet breakfast, clean room, fresh bedsheets, just like any other 5-star hotel. There's a private beach too. Such a calm place. A highly recommended place to stay. I will book this place again.

Upon checking in, Mr Jamal the manager assisted us. He was very warm and friendly. Showed us around the resort and share with us alot of information that we should take note of. I was very touched that the staff went an extra mile to decorate the room for my husband's brithday and even have a cake with candle. That was so thoughtful of them. The staffs will greet you sincerely wherever you see them. All of them were so polite. Breakfast was okay. But my favourite were the APPLE JUICE!!! LOVE ITTT!! Brilliant property with super friendly staffs and lovely location”
The hotel has lovely chalets in the woods for those who like living amid nature. The beach restaurant- Beach brasserie - is recommended for those who like anything from salads to pastas to pizzas. Their kids menu is especially good! The only thing that could be improved is the speed of picking up guests from the main hotel lobby and dropping them to their chalets - it can be a long and steep walk for seniors and kids, so the best option is to take the hotel shuttle which can mean a long wait though.

I chose Berjaya Resort for the last leg of our long road trip round Malaysia with my 4 year old and we booked a rainforest chalet since the promotion was irresistible. Upon arrival we were promptly requested to do our scans/temp check before checking in, which was quick and swift and sent to our unit via the buggy service (24 hour service, just dial ‘0’ whenever you need them to pock you up. Our unit was right in the middle of the resort, a short walk to the beach/pool, its nicely surrounded by the rainforest with a small view of the Andaman Sea. The room is clean, with enough amenities, and a balcony to chill but just beware of the cute and notty monkeys and always keep doors closed and locked. The bed can be better though, its a bit hard and gave me backaches but my kid enjoyed every minute there. We had a really peaceful time in the resort, at the pool/beach. The Dayang cafe serves really good breakfast, service is awesome too. Our fav part of the resort is to be able to see wildlife amongst us, be sure to greeted by the dusty leaf monkeys, the hornbills, the otters, the giant black squirrels, and many many more if you can spot them! Although the resort is a little old, but definitely gold. We hope to be back soon!

This was the second time I have been to this resort, 10 years apart and the quality service, cleanliness, facilities, location is still top notch! The staff at the resort are sooooo friendly and welcoming that you feel like you are with good family during your stay. The facilities are wonderful and clean. Location is a little further out from the hustle and bustle of cenang but I wouldn’t have it any other way. We rented a car through klook which was quite cheap and went out for day trips. The resort offers tours also. We did the mangrove kayaking and 8 island JetSki tour which was sooooo much fun! We also attended a fire show which is held over the weekends and set up so beautifully by the beach. Attention to detail at the resort is 5star! The buffet breakfast was amazing and delicious and had lots of variety for everyone. There are some cheeky little monkeys and a whole array of other wildlife to spot during your time at the resort which was wonderful. My daughter and I felt safe and secure while staying here and would not hesitate to recommend Berjaya Langkawi Resort! So what are you waiting for?! Go book and have the time of your life🥰

Family friendly resort ”
Booked rainforest family chalet and studio chalet for 6 pax, good choice for two grandparents, and two children aged 10-13 from 28/9-1/10. Booking include buffet breakfast, complimentary afternoon tea snack, nature trail walk, shuttle to cable car. Resort has kayaks to rent at low price. Pool is decent size. Housekeeping, concierge and front of house customer service are superb. Children liked walking along the beach at night catching and watching the hermit crabs, daytime spotting monkeys, colugo, lizards and squirrel. Chief chef overseeing the Dayang, Bresserie, and Phan-Thai restaurants manages the restaurants very well, good spread of international & local food at breakfast, choice to have picnic at the beach, staff is friendly and offered excellent personalised service. The rainforest and beach surrounding the resort are clean, well kept and paradise-like. Love the experience and will return for longer stay next trip.

The unit comes with a balcony, living room and big bathroom with bath tub. you do not need to worry about walking around with such a far distance because they have free buggy service with just a press of button from your room. The room is clean, overall the environment is very quiet and peaceful. All of their staffs are very patient and friendly despite the high volume of crowd. The best thing i like to most is they have their own beach where you can avoid sharing with other tourist ( the beach is very clean & less crowded which is very safe during this covid season). Cons : be careful of your belongings as they have monkeys around.
