Best for family vacation”
It is not a new hotel. Our Family Room is spacious with 2 rooms, 2 toilets, living room and kitchen with no dining table and not carpeted. Breakfast was simple with not a lot of food varieties. They do have WiFi with poor connection. All that aside, I say we'll definitely book a Family Room again at BDB Darulaman Golf Resort if we're planning on vacationing for the Golf course, swimming pool and kids' playground.

Far from busy town”
1. Location : Only suitable for those who hv vehicle to stay here. Far from Alor Setar City Centre (almost 30 mins drive) but near NSExpressway. Very calm area, way out from busy of town. Only 5 minutes drive to Darulaman park and Fantasia Aquapark. 2. Food : Got cafe in the hotel. Menu for breakfast quite variety. Far from any restaurants. Mc Donalds is not 6.35km as shown in picture. Its like 20km far from this hotel and not much public transport from here to the city centre. 3. Shopping : Nearest town is Jitra which is 7km from here. 4. Facilities : Internet was so-so in the room. Not really strong conection. Lift provided. Room and toilet very clean. Toiletries provided. Pool is clean and big, my kids love the pool. 5. Staff : very polite staffs 6. Value for money : For RM 140 per night its worth the money.

Quite and Peaceful Hotel”
I like the green surrounding (golf course) and very peaceful all the time.Even though it during school holiday, but this place not crowded. Plenty of car park, kids love it pool and gym facilities. Close to public lake and restaurant within 5km range from the hotel. i will definitely come here again if i looking a stay at jitra or alor setar.

The best hotel outside Alor Setar”
This hotel is within Kubang Pasu area, about 20 mins drive away from Alor Setar. The facilities are great, food delicious and staff friendly. The room size is great..and most importantly room price is among the best in the area. The pool is big, with water slide for kids. Will come back again if around the area.

we all wanted to go to Jitra, and we found Darulaman Suites was a perfect gateway... relaxing with golf view, swimming pool, quite ok service, acceptable food and above all value for money...with RM186 I get a deluxe with two breakfast.

Wise Location for Couple on Honeymoon & Family”
Location quite out of area form Jitra town. Need transportation to move around. Only had 1 restaurant in the golf club compound. It has swimming pool for children. Overall, it worth for a short stay in Jitra.

"Good" for point of view as a golfer”
Go to Jitra for working purpose, as the same time also enjoy the golfing, swimming and exercise after work. The only complaint is the lack of variety of the breakfast, still have more to improve.

As a golf resort the price is considered very cheap. but need improvement on the breakfast. Guest also need transportation of cause this is golf resort and a bit away from town area.

Good place to stay for golf lovers”
Had a great quite family time with family and I would recommend for thoes who wish to find a place that value for money in addition to golfing activities. So, BDB is a good spot to stay...the last time i checked in there was some renovations works going on to improve probabely pavement and thier garden...well if this continues improvement is at full swing I am sure this hotel will be a popular choise as it was during its glory dayz... good luck.

Transit hotel with good facilities”
This hotel is just literally next to hiway via bandar darulaman exit. Use map, not waze. Spacious room with basic room facilities. Golf , park n large pool with mini slide (child pool). Reasonable breakfast menu - i didnt expect this since the room rate was cheap. Will definitely stay here again n enjoy the facilities.

interesting andfun for family holiday”
we stayed for a night the weather was beautiful in the day but raining at night. for those who would like to eat out may wish to observe the weather. if it rains then a bit difficult for us to commute to and from the hotel as the route and road signage are quite poor so be aware especially when you drive.other wise the food in Jitra town are faboulous

clean n big room... big swimmingpool..”
my first impression with this hotel is quite nice where there are locate ate golf club, then its suitable for business gather or meeting and wedding ceremony. i went there in school holiday, to many bridals stayed at the hotel but its ok, not a big problem. i'm choosing this hotel just because its in my budget, have a big swimming pool, easy to excess, near darulaman lake, and at night easy to go dinner, however must use car.

Very spacious albeit the room is old-fashioned. Located outside town center, you need a car to move around or to go to Jitra town. Definitely, it's worth it if you don't mind about it being out of town.

Rara Chalet (ladybird-themed)”
Rara Chalet is located in front of the swimming pool. The front most to be precise. The Chalet is in good condition and cleaned (except for the secondary bathroom door which is in poor condition and also an often malfunctioning aircond at the main bedroom). However, we noticed that it hasn't been occupied for some time. Although not dusty, the chalet has lots of lizard droppings and few dead insects. But we do understand that the location of the hotel is surrounded by forests and golf range so we let it pass. Food menu is sub-standard. Not many choices and a bit disappointing. This is a minus although you can sit outside the cafe with nice golf range scenery. The swimming pool is one of the main attractions. On our arrival in late afternoon, the pool was totally full! But the kids love the slides. The major problem we had with the hotel is the receptionist; not showing courtesy, not smiling, a bit rude on the phone to another guest and generally untrained to act professionally. :(
