A return visit , still as good ”
A return visit after 3 years post pandemic, only able to book for 1 night this round as they are fully booked 😅. Well trained and polite staff, clean and well equipped room, beautiful scenery. Pool is noisier and busier this time round with more kids around, hence no chance to properly enjoy the peacefulness. The complimentary banana chips has been cut, please bring it back even if it is for purchase , it is tasty. Another suggestion would be to increase the frequency of shuttle to Aonang beach as currently only one trip in the morning. Still looking forward to return someday!

We had the most amazing time here. The resort is beautiful and calm. The staff is absolutely amazing and they will exceed your expectations. The pool and its views are breathtaking. There is even a small gym, but you can also just use the park-like garden to just stroll around. You can also rent motorbikes. Although Ao Nang can get busy, we always had Ban Sainai Resort to go back to for us to enjoy a quiet paradise. They offer a free shuttle to get to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. They helped us a lot with a special request and made us very happy.

Exceed my expectation!”
When I was browsing for hotels to stay in Krabi, I was not impressed with the choices based on value for money and the facilities, also from past reviews. Maybe I was spoiled by past experiences in other hotel chains in other famous islands like Phuket and Bali. But boy, was I wrong! Ban Sainai truly surpassed my expectation and made me fall in love with Krabi even more. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Asian hospitality never disappoints. The room was spacious and clean. Love the spacious bathroom with the big round tub in Coconut Cottage, which I prefer compared to the jacuzzi tub in other room types. Breakfast area was cosy, surrounded by serene view of the greenery and cliff around it as well as the fishes and komodos in the pond. The landscape in the whole resort was beautiful! Location was very good too, so near to Ao Nang beach walk yet secluded in a quiet area. I had an amazing stay with my husband and we’re already planning to come again with our kids next!

We loved our stay at Ban Sainai. Greeted with very pleasant staff and we were even given a short tour of the whole place before being dropped at our room. The rooms are big and very clean. They even took the care to put my name on the fancy towel design on the bed. The pool is incredible with a magnificent rock wall back drop. The breakfast location is gorgeous, set on a pond with tons of fish and a few monitor lizards that pass by. The food is delicious and we liked that it was not just a buffet breakfast, but you actually order so everything is cooked fresh. The Roti are amazing. We were very close to the main pet of Ao Nang shopping. We had our own car, but the resort could accommodate anything for you. They are all so nice and respectful. I highly recommend Ban Sainai when you stay in Ao Nang.

Amazing location, awesome staff, the most gorgeous grounds and 4 monitor lizards to add to the excitement. The swimming pool was absolutely stunning. We stayed in a family cottage which was huge - 2 bedrooms and bathrooms plus large deck with hammock. Mosquitoes were not a problem. Short walk into town - turn left at the end of the road for more touristy strip or right for some fabulous authentic food! The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Beautiful property. Fabulous location”
We struck gold when we booked this property. Walking distance from shops, restaurants and Ao Nang beach. There’s more- individual villas that are large and some overlook a pond and beautiful limestone cliffs. It’s in a bylane so one has privacy from crowds. Each villa has a beautiful verandah with a hammock. One major disadvantage is that they don’t serve dinner! We had a car so we could drive out at will- but there were many families with children and it must have been difficult for them. Staff is polite, friendly- but the front desk reception area is quite shabby- it does not do justice to the beautiful property. However, if we come to Krabi again, we will definitely stay here! Hopefully, they will start serving dinner soon!

Everything was great for this resort. The bedroom, gym, swimming pool and the the view of the mountain was fantastic. However, if you want to stay closer to Aonang Beach, this is not a place for you. The resort provided free shuttle to Aonang Beach, but the timing is limited. One feedback for the resort is that, maybe they can provide better breakfast selection in the morning.

I stayed 3 nights and had a pleasant experience at Ban Sainai. Clean grounds with beautiful plants/trees. Enjoyed out welcome drink at the pool with the beautiful view of the cliff. Staff were all amazing and accommodating and we enjoyed the food options at the breakfast buffet. Also love their natural, rice soap! If you can get a room with the cliff view, highly recommend. Away from the main strip of Ao Nang, which we preferred but easily accessible by walk or free shuttle service. Thank you for making my time in Krabi special!

Our stay at Ban Sanai was perfect! The bungalow was clean and comfortable. It got cleaned very regularly! The pool area was really relaxing and it was not crowded! Extra highlights: The staff was very helpful and friendly all the time! We were happily surprised to see some animals at the resort like varans and peacocks 🦚 They were not too close so there's no need to be afraid :)

Friendly & very helpful staff. Love the thai Kampong vibes surrounding. Very scenic & enjoy breakfast while gazing at nature surroundings. 10mins walk to Ao Nang Muslim street & 20mins to the beach.Will come back here again when we go to krabi in future!!

This place looks like heaven. The bungalows are surrounded by a peaceful, lush but extremely well-kept tropical garden and the view of the cliff from the swimming pool is gorgeous. A short stroll leads you to the main road with plenty of options to shop and eat. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing stay at Ban Sainai”
We stayed at Ban Sainai last week, regretably only for 1 night due to travel commitments. I was nervous about the booking I made since I knew pretty much nothing other than the reviews I had read. Well, I will say that place is great! Big, clean rooms, nice grounds nestelled near the cliffs, and very quiet. Oh, and a pretty good breakfast (good buffet and several made to order options). The only slight negative (if there is one) is the location is a bit far from the beach and restaurants, but they do run a shuttle to the beach which makes up for it. Great place...would (and likely will) stay there again!

First of all, the staffs are really helpful and smiling all the time as old-time Thailand style. The rooms are so nice we stayed in a Lake view room and a garden cottage both were super nice. In a lake view room, there is a very comfortable hammock in the large balcony so you can just relax there whole day. In a garden cottage room you have absoulte privacy which is super nice. And also you can see some nature(squirrels, iguanas??, and birds, cows etc) And their pool has an amazing view with cliffs, too. Breakfast was also good. We want to go back :)

This was a dream hotel amazing staff that would go out of there way to help you.. from the staff with golf buggy’s that would drop you to your room after a long day out in the islands to bringing takeaway to your room so you can just relax the view from the pool is out of this world a free shuttle to the centre of town aswell in the afternoon was fantastic I look forward to returning very soon to this phenomenal hotel…. The most wonderful resort I had stayed ever. I hope this resort will be not famous.. because it's so amazing everything, so I wanna know here only me. Employees, room, swimming pool and food are super nice and great. I can't say how it is amazing to any words.
