“Could be a lovely hotel but is looking a bit tired”
Staff at Baan Krating are lovely and our room was very comfortable but the whole place needs tidying up. One reason we booked a stay here was because of the pool but it looked so grubby that we didn’t dare use it. Even the sun beds were too dirty to use, but saying that, the ones around the pool were cleaned up just as we left so maybe they are getting around to sorting things out. Our room was in a beautiful location, over looking the sea, and it was lovely to hear the sea at night. But the hotel is right at the far end of the beach and so is a long walk or taxi ride to get into town. Also, the nearby beach seems to be full of high class hotels who won’t allow you to walk though onto the public beach and so this can mean you have quite a walk before you can gain access to the beach.
