I had a very bad experience at another place on Koh Lipe, so I checked out of there and into Baan Kasirin 2. My say at Baan Kasirin 2 was very pleasant. It's more of a budget hotel, so things aren't fancy, but everything was clean, and I had everything I needed. The location is right on Walking Street, but somehow the noise from Walking Street was never a problem. The receptionist at Baan Kasirin 2 was the best part of my stay. She was so friendly, and always had a smile on her face and asked me how I was doing . I would definitely stay here again.

I was afraid because there are so many bad reviews... but actually it wasn’t bad at all. I stayed at the room woth air conditioning. Room was correctly clean. But I can see the bathroom is old and not in good condition. So it’s not about cleaning. I met cleaning ladies almost every morning, thankfully they were working hard. :-) Staff was kind and helpful. They don’t offer breakfast. But there are so many restaurants and supermarkets just right next to the hotel. Location is center of walking street which is very convenient. Near Pattaya beach and sunrise beach both. I enjoyed much staying at Baan Karisin2.

Room condition ”
Overall of Baan Kasirin is ok. Located inside the Walking Street so very easy and nearby to access the street. Their cleanliness is good and staff also very friendly. Enviroment very good for relaxing. Just the mosquitoes and insects can enter the room. Wifi can be connected into the room but the signal is not so good. Overall Baan Kasirin is good and reccommended for the budget stay.

Hotel is very clean. People in receptions very nice and helpful. They helped us sort our train tickets and printing. The location is close to the ferry from KOH lipe and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. Good value for money !

Koh Lipe is a small island”
due to its smallishness, Koh Lipe needs supplies from the outside i.e. the mainland thus the cost tends to be higher. For comparison , a room which is larger and with a view in Chiang Saen is priced half of that for Baan Kasirin 2. A room in Patong Beach, Phuket could also be booked at half the price as compared to Baan Kasirin 2. However, if your intention is to go to Koh Lipe, then Baan Kasirin 2's location is pretty convenient as it is at a highly centralized point.

Simple hotel with great location”
Pros: at Walking Street, in the middle of the main Street at Koh Lipe! With many restaurants and beautiful little stores nearby! Great staff! Cons: my room had a strong smell of mothball, probably to avoid cockroaches. Bathroom did not have a window. Shower was very weak. Overall, It was ok for the price paid.

We really liked ban Kasirin 2”
The hotel is located in the walking street, but it's not too loud during the night. We stayed for about 8 nights in the fan-room. The stuff (especially Loh) is very friendly and helps in any belongings. Our rooms were only made when we asked at the reception, but it was okay. We directly got new towels when we asked for new ones. We would come here again. The price is very good for it

The hotel just located on the walking street, more to the centre, so its easy to get to the other side of the island of Ko Lipe. Food stalls and convenient stalls are nearby.

Good location, friendly staff”
The hotel is at the centre of the island and all the beaches are within walking distance.A great variety of food can be found along the walking Street where the hotel is. We were given 10% discount to dine at the restaurant opposite the hotel, so as the Thai massage operated by the same boss. The room is quite comfortable for the price but the bathroom is stuffy cos there is no ventilation.

Like most things on Koh Lipe you pay a premium, but the rooms are kept clean and it's only 2 or 3 minutes walk from Sunrise Beach, which is the best beach on the island.

nice and simple. if you don't need something too fancy, this is the place. just nice. it's advantage is that is it exactly next to Walking Street. 3 mins walk to Sunrise Beach. The room itself has a fan, but if you want AC you'll have to pay an extra 400baht per night. But for us, the fan was enough. Water pressure for the shower in our room was not great, but that could be a one off. No Iron, but can use the hair dryer if you need to 'iron' your clothes. Also not many places to hang your clothes, but you can do it outside. TV is good, lots of movie channels. Overall good experience.

Mosquitoes”
We booked in here for our first night in Lipe. Would expect a LOT better for £30 per night. On the plus side it's in a great location. The staff are also really nice. However, in the 10 minutes since we arrived we had to kill over 10 mosquitoes, before realising that the window was just a shutter and there were huge gaps in between so the mosquitoes would just keep coming. Bathroom seemed like the perfect breeding ground for them as there was no ventilation and it was completely wet/damp. Had there been somewhere to hang our mosquito net we might have stayed, but we left without refund as we had paid online so he couldn't give us our money back. Unless you want to be eaten alive by mosquitos, don't stay here.

A place to sleep ”
More expensive due to it being New Year but very basic accommodation. Arrived in the room to about 20 mosquitos, no exaggeration. Room wasn’t cleaned once while we were there. Free Breakfast offered at hotel opposite was not worth going to, a choice of fried rice, toast and Thai porridge; anything else cost extra. But it did it’s job as somewhere to sleep while on Koh Lipe. They have a parrot kept near reception that was quite noisy in the morning which woke me up. 5 minute walk to the two main beaches.

Mediocre breakfast ”
Should join the organization "Trash Hero" who helps to hold the Island clean with providing water in reusable bottles and not give 2 new plastic water bottles per day as this hotel do. The toilet had a bad smell. The cleaning lady cleaned the room very late in the evening. This place doesn't have a kitchen, the breakfast was serving at Poohs restaurant, 20 m from the hotel. The breakfast was not so good, all you got was a fried egg, ham and a sausage on a plate. To drink they was serving water, tea, powder coffee and orange juice. We ate the breakfast at other places that was better.

Toilet was clean but it was stinky maybe because of the water plant. Quite hot during the day (standard room; no a/c) but it was fine at night. Extra person will be charged for the mattress even though the bed can actually fit 3 person. But it’s the policy. Overall, it was just fine, average price with average room.
