Nice hotel on Dongtan beach”
We stayed here for one week during our recent trip to Thailand. The hotel is only separated by one small road from the sandy Dongtan beach and located in the more upscale and quieter part of Pattaya (Jomtien). Extensive breakfast buffet, very nice swimming pool, big rooms, friendly staff. We will come here again on our next trip.

Still idyllic post covid ”
Once we discovered Avalon 5 years back , wouldn’t stay anywhere else if around Pattaya. Right on beach, tropic design. Great breakfast. If you’re not happy here then you’ll never be happy.

Lovely accommodations right on Jomtien beach”
Although this facility is older it’s been kept quite nice. Beautiful pool and courtyard and just across the road from the beach. Great breakfast with lots of options and changes daily. Staff is very friendly and speak good English. There are a few places where there is a bit of a step up like at the top of stairs that you can’t really see nor expect and many people stumble so you really have to watch your step. Overall a great place to stay

Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel it is very well maintained and very clean. The rooms are spacious with good size balconies; overlooking the pool and sea side. Minutes walking from Jomtien complex and along the beach.

Beautiful room right by the beach”
Clean, quiet, spacious, well appointed room. Nice pool Good value… Beach is right across the street… with lounge chairs, and the guys there will get you whatever you need… Food drink whatever Walking to the south, you’ll find great coffee and many bars/restaurants.

Nice hotel in a great area”
First none of the lesser than 5 stars is a reflection on the hotel or staff, it is only due to areas that are shut down due to the Covid situation and not available for personal review. The hotel is just across from the beach and close to some good restaurants. There restaurant was closed except for the breakfast which was very good. The pool was nice and all of the north side first floor rooms had direct access to it. The hotel is very clean with nice rooms. The tub is huge and ample hot water for a good soak.

A bit dated but pleasant and quiet, good location”
A medium sized hotel with a nice pool area. Rooms are large but a bit dated. Shower and plumbing could do with an update. Perhaps I was traveling off-season but there weren’t many on-site amenities except the pool (no bar or restaurant after breakfast). However there are plenty of options nearby.

Very quiet but nice and a great location”
Nice hotel but due to Covid, it was practically empty. This was fortunate as they seemed really short of staff. It's a nice place though and the staff that are there are great. It is also a good location.

Good hotel Pattaya”
Very beautiful, green area, excellent pool. Right by the sea. Definitely the best hotel in the area. Good breakfast. When entering the room was unventilated, there was a strong smell of mold. The staff was not very interested in changing the number, said all the rooms were busy. After that, it turned out that almost half of the hotel empty.It took 2 days to ventilate in all possible ways. Everyday you could see that the hotel management was not the best, the staff was lazy and only did something when asked repeatedly and then showed dislike, especially during breakfast. Pool and area cleaning is superficial. Before that we were in Phuket and there was a much higher level of service.

I stayed here as where I had booked was actually closed when I arrived...so needed something fast. Avalon was fine for this, fab location on Dongtan beach, lovely large swimming, super friendly and helpful staff and my room was ALWAYS super clean and made up.

Right on the beach”
This is a very nice hotel with a beautiful swimming pool, but if you prefer to swim in the ocean the beach is literally out front of the hotel. A good buffet breakfast to start the day, and the rooms are very large with spacious balconies. Loved it!

Ok hotel”
Pool is beautiful but not really enough lounges. The breakfast was average with not many choices. The room was fine… nothing to write home about. I liked having a balcony and being right across the street from a quieter part of the beach was great.. Everything is clean, shower great, no strange smells… I think if you can get this for right around $50 it is a good choice. Note: television has very limited channels and sound volume and Wi-Fi did not allow streaming.

The room was fairly simple, as expected of a 4 star hotel, but neat and clean. The hotel seems to be Half shut down due to covid so a little dark and small breakfast. But location is perfect and good value for money.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Avalon beach resort hotel, two issues it's the breakfast every day, so if you don't like eggs your out of luck, and the staff is minimal at best, some times 3 staff sometimes 4, now there where only max 5 guests
