"Lovely Hotel"”
We were skeptical at first, after previously reading some negative reviews about this newly constructed Resort Spa Hotel (just 1 year old). As it turn out, the location, friendly staff, room, services etc. was exactly what we wanted for a relaxing 2 week vacation. We arrived actually at 6pm at the Krabi airport after sunset (at night), we had booked our transfer directly with the hotel. A staff member from the Hotel greeted us to assure the safety of our night transfer by van, motorcycle (tuk tuk) then longtail boat to the resort . It went quickly and smooth, no muddy wet feet experience. Upon arrival the check in was fast and we were then shown to our spacious and well designed 3rd floor balcony room. The hotel is located on Railay East Beach facing mangrove and not on white sands, but, this was no bother to us when the Railey beaches (Railay West, Phra Nang and Ton Sai) were just minutes away by walking. Fortunately, for us we had no issue with noise coming from further down the beach, we slept perfectly well. The grounds of the Resort picturesque in a relax atmosphere, great pool area & spa. Although, while staying on Railay Beach, unfortunately my husband experienced a little intoxication after eating at one of the restaurant’s on the beach, luckily it lasted only 2 days. As far as eating at the hotel we had no problems, only at Breakfast, they should serve fresh fruit juices and not artificial drinks. And, It would help if the staff could better their English. Overall we do recommend Bhu Nga Thani and do wish to revisit again.

Great location, restaurants and beach activities!”
Bhu Nga Thani is located on the east side of Railay, which some will tell you does not have as nice a beach as the west side. This is true, but when we were there (early Oct), we were very happy to be on the east side of Railay, since the west side was so windy and seas so rough. The walk to the west side is also very quick and a very nice beach exists closer to the east side, including a path occupied by monkeys you can hand food to as you walk through. Careful, though, many monkeys might come to you if they see lots of food ... though I never saw any aggressive behavior. 100 yards down from the hotel is a nice little restaurant called the Relax Bar (and other restaurants beyond). You sit on the wooden floor (on pillows) and the family run place serves the best Pad Thai I had in Thailand, along with very tasty papaya salad, mango smoothies, and all other dishes we tried, which were many on our repeated returns. All 5 or 6 tables were always taken and the family even ate lunch on the floor with us, occasionally the small children bringing us dishes (along with mom) and making for a very relaxing atmosphere and aptly named hang out. The hotel itself is very nice. The staff was great, the room was as clean as could be expected in such a wet environment (rainy season too), but I would suggest trying to get a room on the 3rd floor. We had a 1st floor room the first night and then asked to be moved to the 3rd floor the next 2 nights of our stay. The result was a great view of Railay (water, boats, picturesque jagged hills with trees, etc.), and much better internet reception. The breakfast was a fairly standard western style pancakes, eggs, etc. (but still nice), but the room service Thai food was very good and at very good prices. If we ever return to Railay (and we hope to for sure) we will definitely stay at Bhu Nga Thani!

Beautiful, Romantic Resort on Railay Beach East”
I think we made the best choice in staying at Bhu Nga Thani Resort & Spa when visiting Railay Beach. For the price per night, it is well worth staying at this beautiful resort located on Railay Beach East, just a 10 minute walk over from Railay West where there are more restaurants and bars. The beach on this side is not for lounging (as you would on the other side), but the resort itself has a gorgeous pool you can lounge at with a swim up bar. The rooms are very spacious, beautiful, with a private deck to relax. Bathrooms are spacious and luxurious as well with an outdoor shower to enjoy while experiencing monkeys above the roof. Truly a tropical experience. Beautiful architecture, very friendly staff that make your stay feel warm and fuzzy. The Spa Massage was nice too, and there are also cheaper massage options within walking distance. I'd highly recommend this hotel!

Absolutely beautiful hotel and great staff”
we were immediately impressed with the bhu nga thani resort. it is easy to find as it is on the same side of railay bay as your longtail boat will arrive. simply hop off the boat walk 100m down the beach and you're there! the reception staff were very helpful and very quick to check in! our room was very large, bed was gigantic and the bathroom was exceptional with a large bath and good shower. however we had to run our taps for 5 mins before the hot water would come through but this wasn't a great worry to us. also has a large balcony and a sun bed inside by the window. wifi works perfectly even in the room which is a bonus and not ualways the case for thailand! railay was a quiet get away but if you're after a party this isn't the place. i suggest 3 nights max for railay, enough time to explore the area and perhaps some rock climbing. the bhu nga thani had a large selection of dvd's to hire for free though which is nice. buffet breakfast is also reasonably good !

Love the rooms!”
We love the rooms here! In fact, on our first night there, my hubby requested for us to extend our stay at Bhu Nga Thani. We would had done that had the cost of the rooms been cheaper. There is a cozy settee area in the balcony of every room which we love to sit and look at the sea. The entire room was so spacious! My daughter loves it there too, the hotel gave her a cot complete with pillows. We are no first-timers to Phra Nang but this have to be the best hotel we have stayed so far. The hotel is located at the Railay beach area so if you know your way around, you need to ask the boat man to drop you at the correct place. Otherwise, it's quite a far walk. We like it better at Railay as it's quieter and closer to the places that we want to go. We did a basic rock course and climbed to Princess Lagoon with our 3 year old. Caution though as we did have to put her in a baby carrier to go up. Reminisce our school days when we climbed regularly. In short, we will return to Bhu Nga Thani when air tickets and room prices goes down. We love it there!

Can't go wrong with this one”
We were at this hotel for 5 nights and are still amazed at how good it was. Bhu Nga Thani is located on the eastern Railay beach. The eastern beach mostly serves the long-tail boats and is not for swimming or relaxing. However, Railay is so tiny that it’s a short and pleasant walk from the hotel to the better beaches. There are many nice restaurants and bars near the hotel (walk out of the hotel and go left). Upon arrival, we were greeted by the supervisor, who sat down with us and talked to us about the place, marking the interesting things on map and detailing the hotel’s facilities and everything. The room was just great. Spacious, clean, bright, and with everything you could need. Apart from the standard things, it had a huge, custom-built bathtub, perfect for a romantic evening dip. Rooms on the second and third floors have balconies instead. The hotel has a nice spa, which we used for the complimentary 15-minute treatment we received. Other facilities include a small gym and a room with 3 computers for internet access. There’s also a complimentary DVD rental service with hundreds of awesome movies and TV series. The best thing about the hotel is the service. The whole staff (especially the supervisor, T-Pop) was simply genuinely nice and more than willing to help with anything. We had a couple of special needs during our stay, and the staff went out of their way to help us with everything. We had two tiny problems with the room, and they were dealt with instantly. Overall, the service was above and beyond expectations.

Loved every minute”
We absolutely fell in love with Railay Beach and Bhu Nga Thani Resort during our stay. We were in an Elegance Deluxe Room, which was an incredible value. It was spacious and airy and also had an outdoor shower and huge soaking tub. We unintentionally spent an entire afternoon at pool because the other vacationers and staff were all so friendly. The 2 for 1 happy hour certainly helped too! What we didn't realize before booking was the only way to or from the resort was to take a longboat (less than 15 minute ride), but that ended up being a perfect way to get into the vacation mindset. The entire island has no cars or streets, just walking paths, and no police, but at no time did we feel unsafe, it was actually quite the opposite. The hotel is located on what seemed to be the quieter side of the island, but a short 5-7 minute walk got you to the other side with a great walking street with plenty of restaurant options and some local shops and plenty of nightlife if you want it.

Incredible Experience”
My girlfriend and I spent 6 nights in a pool villa. We were both blown away by the resort. The room was even nicer in person than in the pictures. The staff members we interacted with were very friendly and professional. Breakfast had a lot of great options with excellent coffee made to order. Food at the restaurant is a little pricier than most places in Railay, but it is very high quality. Happy hour at the pool bar does not disappoint. The transportation service that they offer from Krabi airport could not have been any more convenient. I cannot imagine any of the other resorts in Railay offering any better experience. We will definitely be back to Bhu Nga Thani, we really did not want to leave in the first place.

Beautifully maintained and tranquil resort”
We stayed at Bhu Nga Thani resort for 12 nights and enjoyed every day there. The staff are particularly helpful and friendly and provide good service. The spa/ massage service is professional and located centrally in the resort grounds with a great outlook of the scenery and wildlife, as does most of the resort. The restaurant food was consistently great! I couldn't say a bad word about this resort. But if I had to identify something to improve I would suggest that housekeeping pay a bit more attention to detail. The pool bar should be manned better also. Overall a fantastic holiday shared with family. I would stay at Bhu Nga Thani if I were to return to Railay, which I hope to in the future.

Nice and relaxing ”
Is very nice place and relaxing to stay at Bhu Nga Thani Resort but just one thing that make me feel dissapointed is the room is not so clean. A lot spider web and buds outside the room and outside shower there. Breakfast buffet not much choices but food is nice. Swimming was facing to railay west beach, the beach not like railay east so clean but can enjoy and relax at the swimming pool. Near by the resort was a lot restaurant, massage and mini mart. You can walk about 5 minutes to go a hidden street and try their local thai food, the price is cheaper and delicious.

Bhu Nga Thani is great”
I found the Bhu Nga Thani to be a wonderful hotel. I've always loved Railay Thailand and have stayed at numerous different places there. Bhu Nga Thani is by far my favorite so far and I definately plan to return there on my next and subsequant visits. There are single very nice rooms to presidential suits with a private pool. Something for everyone. The breakfast that came with the room daily was excelent with many different selections to choose from. I found a helpful staff person everytime I needed something and would recomend this hotel to everyone.

Nothing but good things to say! ”
Overall, our stay st Bhu Nga Thani Resort was nothing but fantastic! Upon our late arrival, we were greeted with a cold cloth and beverage to cool down. The staff were friendly, the location was convenient, and the entire place was comfortable. While it may not have the views that the resorts on the east side have, it is beautiful nonetheless and is much quieter. The hotel offers free breakfast with a variety of options and had lunch and dinner service in their restaurant. There are plenty of smaller restaurants and bars just down the walkway if you don't want to eat at the restaurant. This resort also has quick access to the pier for boat departures and arrivals, as well as to lagoon hiking! Would definitely recommend staying at this resort!

RIHO from Estonia”
Even if I want to whine, there is nothing to start with. Everything was just excellent, thank you! The hotel as a whole, in location and design. The rooms in design, comfortness and cleanliness. The pool with open sea view, the pool-bar drinks and spicy dishes, the barman and open sea view. Most important - the staff was very kind and professional, service is excellent and breakfast delicious. When we will come back and we will for sure, will stay at Bhu Nga Thani resort & Spa.

Great hotel and service, but a few misses too”
We booked the Bhu Nga Thani resort as it looked the best in terms of views, rooms and features on Agoda.com. We were pleased to know that the resort was good in the real world as it was in the images. Its a relatively new property in Railay making it one of the best looking resorts from outside for the people passing buy. Made us feel proud as we relaxed in the pool with envious looks from people on the walkway. We opted for the Deluxe Sea View Rooms and were really happy that we made the choice. There are separate sections for Wash basin and tub, Lavatory and Shower Cubicle. The Wqash basin / Tub section also has a capacious cupboard. The highlight of the room for us was the huge balcony and the sitting area within the room as well which acts like an enclosed balcony, allowing a couple to sit there, soak in the view and talk for hours. The quality of furniture, bed and other articles within the room was worth a praise too. We called from India before arriving in Thailand asking the hotel reception to arrange for pick up and drop from the airport, which amounted for 1400 baht for a two way trip. However, no one showed up. Unfortunately, we didn't know that the only way to get to this hotel was on a boat, so we ended up paying 600 baht to the airport taxi, and 500 baht more to the boat we took to the hotel. Sometimes you can be lucky enough to get a shared boat, which will cost you less, We were not. It turns out cheaper to book airport transfers in advance with the hotel, which we did, but somehow, the Hotel's systems didn't reflect it. And which, by the way was our only grouse too. The breakfast menu is limited with items like fruits, pancakes, sausages, eggs and a few other items completing the fare. However, the quality of whatever is offered is absolutely top notch, and the service at the restaurant too is worth a praise. All in all, a great hotel to stay. The only thing you need to make sure is you two way airport transfers should be taken care of!

Excellent hotel”
Pros: clean; amazing staff-very respectful and kind; specious, elegant, airy and clean rooms; very nice touch providing beautiful body lotions; pool clean and quiet Cons: I genetally did not enjoy Railey-comparet to Phi Phi, overrated, the only thing I enjoyed about Railey is this hotel. We did go during the low season but still, overrated! Bravo for Bhu Nga Thani Resort and Spa! I would definitely stay again in their hotels, very impressed.

Relaxation in Railay”
Bhu Nga Thani Resort and Spa was a lovely place to stay for 3 nights in Railay. We have stayed in Railay on a number of occasions and it is one of the better quality places on the East side. It is a beautiful layout with good quality, well equipped rooms and well trained staff that are accommodating above and beyond what is required. There is construction being completed adjacent to the resort, however this was never a concern during our time there.

Presidential Paradise”
We had a wonderful time at the Bhu Nga Thani! A beautiful resort on beautiful Railey. We stayed in the Presidential Suite and loved having this villa to ourselves. There's an exquisite full bathroom outdoors and the private pool is lovely. Transport to/from Krabi Airport was seamless; my only complaint is that the van was carrying some fuel in the back so I smelled gas fumes during the whole ride. Also, note that food service from the pool is slow (45 minutes to get our order). These issues would not stop me from staying here again and again and again!

Lovely hotel with great service.”
We enjoy our honeymoon at Krabi & staying at Bhu Nga Thani Resort & Spa. Staffs are very friendly. Here, we have no worries as we can easily find halal food served by local restaurants & fine restaurants at other resorts. Overall, its a great place to spend honeymoon.

Rejuvenation Trip: Relax Fun Grateful Unforgetable”
Fun & relax. Nice and quite surprising pick up service; we changed transportation mode at least 4 times: luxury van at the airport, tuk-tuk at the pier, long tail boat at the sea and truck at the shore. Then we found Bhu Nga Thani, a beautiful resort hotel, nice reception area with high ceiling plus a fresh welcome drink. Surrounded by cute garden with frangipani trees, towering limestone rock wall as the background. Large room + kingsize comfort bed. Delicious breakfast which decorated artistically. Helpful front office ladies staff. It makes our wedding anniversary vacation: relax, fun, grateful and unforgettable.

Recent good quality resort”
There's a growing number of resorts in Railay and Bhu Nga Thani is a nice one, three year-old. It's on the East side of the peninsula, so there's no beach there but a 10-minute walk will lead you to a beautiful beach and the hotel swimming pool is very nice. And you'll be far away from the noisy boats bringing the tourists in and out. The hotel restaurant offers good food at a moderate price, the staff is very helpful and it's all very clean. Wifi connection is working but at a slow pace (for high speed, there is a computer room but we didn't try it). Recommended if you want to enjoy a quiet holiday in a touristic place.
