June 2016 Stay”
We stayed in the Superior Hut which was great for us, really lovely bungalows in nature and such a peaceful place. Great buffet breakfast and arguably the best set up on the entire beach for relaxation - beach lounges, elevated day beds, beach bar and tyres for use in the water. We didn't have dinner at the restaurant as it was fairly pricey compared to other good restaurants on Koh Tao and had a bit of a middle age vibe. Everything else though was great, and also fyi instead of drinking the water in your bar fridge (30 baht per bottle), nip down to Mae Haad 5 minutes away and pick up a 6 pack of water for 30 baht total to put in the fridge. Also best to bring insect repellent in the low season. The beach directly in front of Sensi is very shallow in the low season but still has some good snorkelling, and if you walk 10 minutes around the point past Charm Churee Resort, there is the beautiful Jansom Bay with deep clear water and wonderful snorkelling! You just have to pay 200 baht entry as it's owned by the resort, but it works out ok if you stay the whole day! Overall we'd recommend Sensi Paradise to anyone, it was the perfect getaway to really reset and fully relax in a beautiful setting.

We were sad to leave. Beautiful resort, fantastic location.”
We travelled to Koh Tao with 2 teenagers, a 6 year old and a 1.5 year old. We ALL loved Sensi Paradise!! When booking, I was worried about it being so close to the harbour. Not an issue at all. In fact, we loved the location. Couldn't have been better. The beach is practically private. The sand is soft in and out of the water and its shallow enough for the little kids to play in, but goes deep enough so that the older kids have tons of fun. They even provide some sand and water toys including inflatable tubes which were a big hit. Loved the beach. From the beach, it's a short walk into town on a cute little road where you'll find restaurants and laundry facilities. You're within walking distance to shops, restaurants (try La Carotte qui Rit), and 7-Eleven of course. The restaurant on the resort overlooks the water, and to one side the harbour. The view is absolutely gorgeous and the breeze is always perfect. The only thing I would change is that the massage hut is at an odd place. I think it would be much busier if it was directly on the beach instead of further back in the trees. The cabin we had wasn't huge but perfect for the 6 of us. There was a separate room for the teenagers, and they provided a mattress and baby cot for the other two kids. The cabins are sprawled out through the trees so you are not right beside anyone. We loved sitting on our deck at night. Our favourite thing was coming home around noon and having tea and biscuits left on the outside table for us. There are tons of stairs everywhere on the resort which we didn't mind. There are little platforms scattered around the resort where you can go relax either on beanbags or lounging beds. We loved how the resort had little places to discover everywhere throughout. The pool was fantastic. So much so that all other pools that followed disappointed our 15 year old. It's even better than in the pictures. The restaurants were good and the entire resort staff was amazing!! Our 6 year old wa

We were sad to leave!”
We stayed at the Sensi Paradise for five nights with our three daughters in a family bungalow. The location is great--within walking distance of restaraunts, shops, etc, but far enough south of the action to be quiet and peaceful. Apparently there are 70 bungalows, but they are spread over a large area, with trees and hills, so it doesn't feel crowded at all. The pools are large and great, with lots of areas for lounging and swimming. They are very clean and a nice way to rinse off the salt after a day of scuba. The buffet breakfast which came with our room was fine, if a bit repetitive. We only ate at the hotel once, and it was a bit pricey for what we got, but there are plenty of restaraunts within 10 minutes walk. The entire area--the beach, the pool, our room, the restaraunt and all the grounds were quite clean and well-maintained. The staff we interacted with were very friendly without being intrusive. We walked around a lot and didn't see a nicer hotel or beach. It is a great value for the money. We were sad to leave Sensi Paradise and would definitely stay there again if we go to Koh Tao.

Quiet getaway close to town”
we chose to stay at sensi paradise because we liked the idea of a quiet private bungalow retreat, away from the more party-like atmosphere in town. we realized upon arriving that the town of mae haad was only a 10-minute walk up the beach! we were able to head up to the restaurants and bars when we wanted to but then get away to the peace of the hotel when we wanted. the service was also great. someone met us at the dock when we arrived, check-in was quick and smooth, and the waitstaff is quick and friendly. the beach is beautiful with good snorkeling (and complimentary snorkel equipment use). note: this hotel is probably not recommended if you have difficulty with mobility, as it can be a bit of a hike on stairs and pathways to get around the resort. also, it is set into a jungle, so be prepared to see snakes, lizards, and bugs as you walk around.

Really enjoyed our stay at Sensi Paradise”
We stayed at Sensi Paradise for one week during our visit to Koh Tao in September 2019. Sensi Paradise is a traditional Thai beach side resort located near Mae Had. We booked a romantic sea view bungalow which was absolutely fantastic (fairly basic but really grew on us during our stay). The service and food at the resort were excellent and the centre of Mae Had was only a short walk away.

Relaxed and luxurious”
I was very happy with Sensi paradise. Fantastic pools, service, breakfast, the room was fantastic! i loved the covered day beds on the private terraces as well as dotted around the resort to sit for cover from the hot sun or fantastic tropical storms that you can watch roll in over the horizon before they disappear again not long after. i also loved that they brought jasmine tea and biscuits to our private terrace around 11am everyday. The breakfast was incredibly tasty and varied and we did eat in the restaurant one evening and the food was fantastic although priced slightly higher than if you ate in a restaurant outside of the hotel. If you wander just down the beach to where the swing in the tree is (you'll know what i mean) the little restaurant/cafe there does delicious food and fresh coconuts/smoothies etc. My only criticisms would be to have some parasols on the beach - they have them by the pool it just would be nice to have some by the beach as well. Also being so close to the main pier isnt the nicest, there are some nicer beaches further round the island but the island is so small is no problem to go explore. I would say it's worth paying as much as you can afford as the more expensive villas have incredible views across the bay although we were very happy with the deluxe. I was quite particular about what i wanted from accommodation whilst in Thailand, i wanted comfort and luxury whilst not sacrificing a bit of character - no cookie-cutter generic hotels/resorts if you know what i mean. Sensi fit this perfectly and i have already recommended it to a friend for a bit of luxury on a budget.

Nice bungalos and good breakfast”
We enjoyed our stay at the Sensi Paradise Beach Resort. When we arrived on the island by ferry there were a couple drivers with signs for Sensi Paradise, with our name written on them. We loaded into the back of the trucks and they drove 5 minutes to the hotel. (we booked the hotel because we thought we could walk from the pier to the hotel, but it would be quite difficult to do that, and we were glad to take the shuttle) Check-in took longer than usual but we eventually got to our bungalo and really liked it. The beds have mosquito nets on them, which the staff come and lower in the evening, which we appreciated. Beach towels are provided, which is very convenient since we didn't pack any. The hotel's restaurant is at the bottom of the hill, down on the beach, and it was reasonably good. I wished the hotel provided small wash cloths, and I also am not a big fan of open air showers in the bathroom (no dividers) as half of the large bathroom gets wet when you take a shower. Otherwise I had no complaints and would probably stay here again.

Such a beautiful, beautiful resort ”
I would recommend this Resort to anyone or any couple. We stayed 2 weeks in Koh Tao and we found Sensi Paradise our favourite by far. We had a lovely bungalow tucked away from the beach and was very romantic (rm 324) in fact they all are very romantic. The staff are so friendly to talk to and incredibly friendly. We were sad to leave. When we eventually go back to Koh Tao, we will stay at Sensi....without a shadow of a doubt :))

Absolute paradise”
The best place I have stayed. Ko Tao- and Sensi Paradise- is a slice of heaven away from busier islands such as Samui. The resort was immaculate, the staff attentive but not intrusive. Our room was less a room and instead a gorgeous bungalow and verandah equipped with complimentary beach towels, sarongs, beach bags, water and fresh fruit. The food at the restaurant was superb and the cocktails sublime. For someone who can't afford luxury hotels at UK prices, this was real luxury at a price I could afford. I can't wait to go back!

Green & clean - almost perfect. ”
Nice atmosphere. We travelled a lot through Asia. Sensi Paradise is one of the best resorts on Koh Tao. Close to the peer (you will be picked up for free). The resort is green and has a well-tended garden. Rooms are clean and in a good condition. Resort is located close to the peer. Some rooms/villas which are close to the coast/seaside could be very loud, because the ferrys are old and very loud. We waked up every day at 5h, when one big ferry boat entered the harbour. Last year we hat a pool side bungalow which was more quiet. Summing up it was a very pleasant stay. We joined our vacations. The pool is fantastic 👌

Another lovely holiday at Sensi Paradise!”
Our second visit, and we were not dissapointed. Love Koh Tao and especially Sensi. Such a beautiful location and with amazing flora and fauna. Our son spotted a gecko on the last evening! The staff are wonderfully attentive. Loved dinner overlooking the sea. The houses are rustic and basic, spotlessly clean and a welcome change from urban living. Our boys went scuba diving - highly recommend Dive Wishes. Entrusted our teenagers in their care, whilst we enjoyed time with our youngest son on the beach. Food fantastic. Thank you Sensi Paradise!

booked four nights, ended up staying another two as i did not want to leave. first trip to koh tao so did not no what to expect. i got lucky when i booked sensi on line. the resort it self is beautiful and central location, the rooms, swimming pools, on the beach. the staff were very friendly and received good service. restaurant was good and ate most meals there. snorkelling is ok at front of resort but you will find much better other parts of island, we rented a long boat with driver from resort for the day, including picnic lunch, highly recommended had a wonderful day, also the thai massage at resort was one of the best i've had and i have had many. thank you sensi see you again soon.

Beautiful, relaxing and good value”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sensi. One of the best things about it was the location - at the end of the 'main drag', private and quiet but very close to town and action. Many other 'resorts' in Mae Head and Sairee Beach are less private and closer together with public paths through them. Another plus is the beach and the easy access to it - some of the resorts we have seen in the other bays are high up the hills and the access to the beach very steep; some have no sandy beach at all. Sensi has a nice sandy beach although this time of the year the tide was low during the day (evenings were better). The staff were lovely, many are not Thai but from Myanmar, and most speak good English. We were entertained by the 'wildlife' - we didn't mind the resort's friendly dog following the housekeepers, the morning visit by the pigs (!), the squirrels playing in the trees, or the resident geckos. Our bungalow was at the back of the resort so we also had an occasional visit by some bantam roosters and hens but not too early. If you require absolute silence to sleep, you may prefer a bungalow away from the back boundary, as there was a little noise during the day from the small road and some residential/utility buildings there. The nights were generally quiet. The pier is relatively close and busy but the only boat we heard occasionally was the cargo boat that left during the night on the high tide.

Excellent Resort”
We absolutely loved our week in a bungalow at Sensi Paradise. The restaurant is quite delicious, the staff were exceptionally caring and accommodating. The value is amazing, especially when compared to the neighboring Charm Churee and Bamboo Huts. Set aside a little from Mae Haad, this resort is wonderful for getting away from it all but also being around other shops, the port, and dive boats.

Absolutely loved it. Best place on Koh Tao!”
Wonderful. Wouldn't change a thing about the place. Wandered around the island and definitely made the right choice with sensi! No other real resort is close to town. This place was awesome. Beautiful bungalows with big porches. Beautiful restaurant on the beach with excellent service and very affordable, delicious food and drinks. No bug problems in the bungalows. Very nice pools. Great free breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Also, they have guided fishing and SCUBA services. Their dives cost a little more, but you are in a small group on a nice speedboat and don't waste half the day getting to the dive site. I fun dived while my boyfriend got certified and we have no complaints! Also wish we went fishing with them. Made the mistake of choosing blue diamond tours and it was a gross, unethical joke. They also have guided snorkel tours for small groups. When in doubt, do it through sensi. You might pay a couple extra baht but you will not be disappointed. On a beautiful section of beach that they clean every morning. Everything about this place is outstanding and they deserve your business. You will have a great time at Sensi. Only small negative that I'm sure are worse elsewhere: wifi kicks you off once in a while. Also the place is quite hilly, but the whole island is, so if you have a serious physical disability you may want to contact resorts to ask about access. sensi is well worth the short hike up and down the hill to your room though if you are able! They will golf cart your bags for you so don't worry about that!

Best hotel I have stayed in”
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is absolutely stunning. The service was fantastic, the room was simple but beautiful, the pool area absolutely gorgeous, and we loved the location. The restaurant was also beautiful, slightly more expensive than alot of places to eat out in the area, however the food was fantastic so we didn't mind. Sensi is apparently located in the quiet end, however we didn't once feel the need to travel much further. There were a few bars nearby in case we wanted a drink, a lot of places to eat and a few shops and stuff as well. The beach was really gorgeous (as I am guessing most of Koh Tao is). We stayed at Sensi for 6 nights, and wished that we could have stayed longer! We are already planning our trip back.

Paradise”
Just wonderful. I stayed in bungalow 321 (don't worry there are not that many cabins, there are probably about 30 in total) which was set back in the jungle and you could just see the sea through the trees. The bungalows overlooking the pool may suffer from lack of privacy and noise, so I was very happy with mine. The room was beautiful and the verandah spacious, and there is wifi in all the bungalows. The waiting staff, housekeeping and dive desk staff were all very friendly. The reception staff could have been a bit friendlier and more attentive. Some staff would say hello as they passed you others would not, which was a shame. There is building work taking place building a new restaurant I think (Oct 14) which I did not know about, but it did not affect my stay too much. The beach was cleaned on 4 out of my 5 days stay as silt and some rubbish does wash up unfortunately. The coral is mostly dead in the immediate vicinity, but there are still plenty of colourful fish that can be seen at the close by wreck for snorkelling. The Sensi paradise website states the snorkelling equipment can be borrowed for free, which is not true. It is 100bhat per day , and they do not have any fins. The hotel advertises that it is trying to be eco friendly, but despite following the intructions to reuse towels and avoid plastic bottles, all towels were changed daily and plastic bottles of water were provided. I emailed Sensi a few days before my booking using the email address on the website - but this email bounced back. The breakfast is excellent and the restaurant staff great. I loved my stay, although Maehead is the main harbour, this resort is the furthest away from the boats and quieter than the Sairee beach area. I would go back to get away from it all.

The ideal place”
We loved staying in Sesi Paradise, every bungalow has a nice big porch with its fridge and minibar. The bungalow is so cosy and has everything you need and the bathroom is big. Every bungalow is far from each other and surrounded by trees, so you feel almost that you are alone there. The resort is big, it has two big swimmingpools amd one small for the childrens. The restaurabt is at the beach and the food is increadibly tasty. The breakfast is buffet and has all the english breakfastvfood, fruit, salad and even dumplings and noodles for the asian people. We had dinner one night, and although the price is higher than the other restaurants in the area, the food is sooo great and tasty and realy big quantities. The service is very polity and the waitress recomend is the fresh fish of tje day. I will recommend it to every couple or family staying at Koh Tao. Just one little thing that bothered us was that the Internet connection that os available in the whole resort doesn't work properlly, so we have to wait amd connect on the restaurants we where eating. But if you just want to disconnec it certainly is he ideal place to stay.

Beautiful place”
Sensi Paradise is a large resort, 70 rooms in total. Mine was number 40, near reception but up allot of steps. Ok for me but may be some trouble for older people or someone with mobility problems. I had a look around the resort, some better location room than mine and easier to get to were near the pool. There are also rooms quite a way from reception and skirting the boundary. These are probably cheaper as they are a fair way from pool/breakfast hall etc. Rooms were rustic, decor was wood and stone. Very nice. Staff were polite and helpful. Pools were excellent and very nicely laid out on 3 levels. Food in the restaurant was nice, but other places off the resort were better and some cheaper. Breakfast was plentiful. Some Thai dishes along with eggs/omelette, American bacon. Comedy sausages etc. Downsides were.. No TV in room for them moments when you want to relax alone. WIFI was terrible. I would log on but then nothing would work. I ended up turning off wifi on my phone and just using 3G. As their wifi would try to connect constantly and interfere with 3G.

"Wonderful Place For Rlaxation"”
We had a nice and comfortable stay at Sensi Paradise Beach Resort for 3D2N. WE were welcome right from jetty transfer to check-in. Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great, we did enjoy the variety of fresh local fruits. The staff make an effort to maintain the beach, amazing view in the evening. Overall this is a quiet and peaceful resort, close to nature, perfect place for relaxation.
